The issue here is Pogba and Bruno would have raised their game by now because of the calibre of the players in the United squad as at then. Rooney or Ronaldo would give Bruno an earful if he misplaced a simple throughball. He wouldn’t make such a mistake again.

This Bruno won't get in ahead of Scholes. Scholes was a midfield controller which suited that style we played back then. Most of our attacks were from the wings.
