Kudos, you are the only one who kind of understands the direction of my argument when I droped those attachments. If we scored more and still finished outside of the top 4 for 3 consecutive seasons, shouldn't that be a pointer as to where we need to improve upon? We are an average team overall, we lack quality in numerous departments and that is buttressed in our results. How many goals are our competitiors (Spurs, Leciester, Wolves, Sheffield, Manchester United and Chelsea) scoring per game and how many are they conceding per game? I said this before that I am worried we have successfully absolved the clowns we parade at the back of their blame and now sholdering it on the midfielders. The midfielders are now to blame for issues with our attack and defense. The fact that you even think our defense is average makes all the case.
