Apart from this season (due to transfer ban) Chelshit academy products don't end up playing for them.

And please don't compare our academy dealings with Chelshit....the same Man Utd won the league with teenagers ( class of 92) and also included atleast 1 academy product in our match day squard for more than 40 years now

The problem is that Ethan Laird has always been more highly rated at RB than Williams, and he has just been promoted to the senior squad by Ole.

Next season would likely see AWB and Laird at RB with Shaw and Williams at LB.

1st goal - Rudiger giving out corner when he should have given a throw

2nd goal - Rudiger waist breaking on a simple ball into Antonio. After failing to effect the clearance, and the ball switched to Bowen, the blind fool immediately started running like an eediot in the direction of the ball, failing to position himself for any cross and completely losing Antonio in the centre.

3rd goal - He had 30 yards of space to snuff any threat from Yarmolenko. The fool was ambling to the right side with no vision of the runner. There is no way that pass should be released and Rudiger won't be favourite except for the otu ball watching Antonio and shifting across. Even on the second part, he overcommits easily to Yarmolenkos right side.

We have always lacked that cutting edge and zip during attacks. Anytime the players are moving the ball, it's never quick enough and once opposition players regroup, there's no one with the technique to throw a defence splitting pass and on the other hand nobody is making the runs to meet with those balls.

Players just keep on passing in front of the opponent's box with everybody standing like trees till somebody decides to cross the ball aimlessly and it's obviously blocked. This team is mostly filled with hard workers with little to no end product in the final third. Hopefully the addition of Werner and Ziyech answers to that

i dont understand the kind of play where the fullbacks are overlapping and no fast DM or CB to watch over the space left behind.

This view may not be popular but i personally feel Kante is not a good DM...his positioning is suspect most times ...can easily be drawn out..lampard should be looking at buying an Ndidi or thomas Partey kind of DM.

Very funny that with this useless back 4 we are busy spending all funds on havertz kind of players....
