The rule is simple
- touch the ball
-obstructing the GK view
-preventing the opposition from playing the ball

He didn't break any law. Remove Rashford from there and a slow Akanji will never get to the ball before Bruno.

The fastest player in EPL - Kyle Walker didn't get to the ball before Bruno. So the decision was 100% correct.

The law supports this, if he doesn't obstruct the GK view or prevent the defenders from playing the ball.

They have changed the rule. Running towards the ball or being active around the ball does not matter. The 2 factors are touching the ball or interfering with an opponent.

The only case Rashford has to answer is "was he blocking Akanji from reaching the ball".

The offside law is very simple. He wasn't obstructing the GK line of vision , and he didn't prevent Akanji from playing the ball.

Akanji won't get to the ball before Bruno.
