Good morning great people, pls experts help. For almost 3weeks now, I had tried reg. some domains on alpnames which was not successful, saying transaction fail (network problem)Then I took them to GDDY but same thing. After more efforts to pay which failed i let go.
Now, i found another one, but payment issue. I contact alpnames support, (Alex) who asked for Card four last digit (I was reluctant, feel like running down here)he persist, said it is to trace the transaction. and I gave him he said their payments platform detected fraud. I asked him if it has to do with name difference, he said they have no further explanation. He asked if there is other things he can do for me, and I told him having 3 transactions failed is an issue, He then provided me alternative payment method via a link, asked for my email, and government approved photograph send to them ( is this right)?
Above all, i still have to make payment for this one domain pls experts help

Which bank card is it? If you are so sure of the ownership of the card; then go to your bank and tell them you were unable to use it online for purchase and there will be solution for you.

But let it be a sound warning, that card fraud punishment can be very fatal and could be another set back for Nigerians, especially domainers.
That is not to say you are using a fake card but just a warning!

If the domain you registered was not regged by coupon code. Tell them you want to change the domain name, that there is mistake and send them the right one in place of the wrong one. Definitely, they will change it for you. That is domain tasting.
But if it was regged with coupon code, they will ask you if you have another coupon code, but if you don't have another coipon code, they can not change it for you. Because coupon code can only be used for only one domain name.

Delete is a final decision taken by you and they do not change while you delete your domain, though I am not sure if they can reverse a deleted domain for you

This is just a normal response from Afternic.com when you submit your domain and if accepted into their system for sales as premium sales. Just follow their instructions on the mail sent to you and go to the registrar where you registered your domain and accept. Chikena. Nothing more and wait for when the domain will sell. Once your domain is sold, they will release the domain to the buyer instantly and collect your money for you. Simple.

There is nothing like that. I use GTbank crad and it works fine. The only thing is that they have reduced the monthly spending limits to $100 only. Now that Naira is gainng strength, they might soon increase the spending limit. Cheers

If you are going for any extension besides .com, you have to consider rarity. If not, the domain is not likely to sell for decades.

More so coin exchangers are the people who takes their money to money exchange for broking. So the name is not ideal for website

You just have to start somewhere, no one come from heaven with writing skills, but when you need money you just have to try many things to make money. You just have to write or buy materials on weekly basis, the contents that are related to the domain name. At the end if you can develop it for about two to five years you will definitely make fortune from the keyword/domain, when you are selling it later.

But there is no problem about customizing your domain with blogger. Do you base in Lagos? so we can meet for the configuration of your blogger blog.

But before making blog, try looking for buyers first by sending mails to related domain owners or to people who can use it.

It even has $200 CPC. that means if it receives click, you get about 30% of the click if it is on Adsense. That is about $50 or so. Good luck but the problem is it may not have traffic unless you work on it by making it a blog or someone may buy it and build blog on it.

Nice one in my opinion, it has good CPC of $200 but the problem you might face is lack of traffic and when there is no traffic, unless you use it as a blog or be lucky to have quick flip.

If you have gmail you can use Google Planner. Google planner is a tool inside Google adwords. Cheers. Estibot is also good but unless you have a paid subscription. before you can check more than one domain on daily baais.

This is a pre listing authority into their market. If you give them the authority. Your domain can be transfered immediatly the buyer bought it and by then, your payment is been made in to your account.
There is no fear in that. Just go ahead and give them go ahead

To apply for adsense; you need to first make a website or blog with the domain and submit some contents on the blog - you can use blogger for your blog, and then apply or wait for adsense activation on your blog. Previously, there was adsense for only domain name with traffic but now you must have a blog or website with contents before aoplying for it.

You can aswell use blogger and apply for adsense but tye best one is to have your own domain name.

You can also try namerific.com for your brand name.
If you cannot afgord submssion to BB you can stay with afternic they are both good but BB is mainly for brand names sales while afternic can aswell sell any names.

This is not account upgrading matters. You Just walk to any GTB and tell them you are unable to transact online with your card.It has happened to me before and it was resolved within an hour.

With ordinary savings account your GTB card can transact payments. There is no any upgrading of account with Gtb. Your problem could be from the wrong information when you are registring the name; it could be wrong email address. Your email address must be same with the one in your bank account, if threre is any wrong contact, the payment will not go through.

Secondly, you are sending.money to someone you do not know. Are you new to online biz? I am not saying the person you sent the money is not a reliable person but that is not the right ethics for online entrepreneurs.
Infact after learning the rudimentry of the biz the next thing for you as an online enterpreneur is to know how to transact money online.
Will you continue to send money to someone for your future registrations and when you want to collect your procceds, will someone collect it for you aswell? What you have just done is opening you to big online biz problem/scamming.
You are trying to buy domain name with impulse, you just have to be very careful.
