To make matter worse, me sef kon dey act desperate to clinch the deal.

P.B said he was interested and would love to get it.

Sent him a Buy It Now link eve though the link was in the first sales email.

D P.B just dey read am.. He no talk anything...

Sent him a couple of messages if he saw my email (cos some buyers dey complain say dem no dey c my mail and I would have to use another account to send the mail to them)

He read, no reply.

After a while, I sent him a follow up message, acknowledging the fact that he was busy and if there was any way I could assist him in getting the domain or if he has any questions that needs answering.

The P.B told me that he's out of town (on Monday) and would be back on Wednesday.

So, I wished him a safe journey.

On Wednesday evening, I greeted him and stylishly ask if he had gotten back home.

No replies. No purchase.

On Thursday, I told him to take $75 off the domain (a 24-hour offer) and he replied almost immediately that he's interested and how does he go about it.

I replied an hour later about how he could go about it.

He viewed it but didn't reply and made no purchase.

Sent him a follow-up email a few hours to 12 am (American Time) asking him to make his purchase before the offer expires.

Yet, the P.B kept viewing it but no replies.

I even tried to use Epik escrow service thinking he was unable to pay via DAN... Yet, nothing.

Sent him a last offer tonight and I've decided not to contact him any longer if he continues to be playing mind game or whatever it is he is doing (I've removed his email from my list sef).

I should have played it cool and wait things out IMO but having seen some P.B grow cold feet after a while of showing interest, I thought mounting on the pressure could work in my favor since it has in the past.

Since you had followed up two or three times and all of his replies were showing interest; that meant something is delaying him, just be patient, do not let him take you for cheap, mounting pressure on him could only make him aware that you are eager and that could give him edge, it can take you for granted and cheat you. According to the tune of his replies; it shows he is coming back, just be patient.

Login to your account and navigate to bulk domain submission at your marketplace listing. Just click on the arrowhead in front of "Upload names in Bulk" and under it, you will see four (4) icons that you can use, then click on which one that is appropriate for you.

However, you will have to create CSV file for your uploading before going for submission and then click on the appropriate one and click on the cloud space there, and that will direct you to chose your readily prepared CSV file on your system and you are good to go.

In that case you better quite or learn patience. If you can not be patient ; domaining is not your business.

A smart web designer who is reported to have found the domain for sale on GoDaddy purchased it instantly and this led to a shutdown on the highly visited website.

A Facebook user Mikhael Nice however posted on his timeline screenshots of what has been the landing page of the website with caption “Bet9ja expired and they didn’t know. Domain went straight to the market, the dude purchased it and instead bet9ja went and registered bet9ja2.”

“To cut the long story short, they have now repurchased the domain from the dude, redirecting it to bet9ja2.”

“The dude is now a millionaire and the management may be sacked”.


However, at the time of filing this report, the website is still down, with a GoDaddy ads on its landing page. News Bet9ja official website is now bet9ja2.com

Presently, the domain will be expired on 2024-04-17. What must have happened is that the domain must have expired since since 2019-04-17 and it takes 45days before any domain can be free for another person to take the possession.

Hence the domain expired on 17th April 2019, that meant it would be available for another person to take over the domain around June 4th and we are now in November 27th 2019.

What must have happened is that the company might try to shortchange the webmaster by not paying him his bill. But presently the bet9ja have changed their domain name to bet9ja2.com and did not forward to any other domain name until now.

It is not possible for any one to pick a domain when exppired but can only pick domain when dropped. The website owner will know as soon as the domain expired because the web will no longer show again as soon as expired. But until 45th days before someone else can take over the domain.

The history of this name is quite long. Like how I got it and decided to keep it.

Just when I decided not to renew names - an offer came for this name.

I got an offer this week for this name (my minimum offer) and I thought countering it for $2500.

Reasons:
1. I am the only one the king. Almost all extensions are gone.
2. I've held it for more than 12 months.

But the buyer declined and added that; he will look for another name . So, I let it go.

Domain flipping is trickery. Sometimes, when you decide to partially let go; sales come in to motivate you to keep strong.

Then again, I've noticed and I think someone has pointed this out that in domain flipping business, you will also get your investment back. Well, kinda true for me.

P.S: I also got a job this month after I kinda lost my previous job back in Feb, this year. Double alert month end.

Yes! You can renew them. If you so wish you can even transfer the domains out of Netsol if you have collected the authcode before. That is why it is good to collect your authcode in advanced; sales or no sales; I do collect my authcode few days after registrations

The issue is I don't plan on renewing it since the cost of renewal is high. (@Network Solution) and the selling price is pretty low.

What's the best way to go about this?.

BTW, congratulations to the latest sellers.

Quickly request for the authcode for transfer of the name and try to conclude with the buyer and let him or her know that the domain is expiring tomorrow. So that he can arrange on how to transfer the name with your authcode.

You can still transfer domains within expiration period

Although, it is good to take advantage of Promo period for registering domain name. However, you have to consider some factors like cost of renewal when registering domain name with any registrer in case the name doesn't sell in its first year.

No ! You can transfer to another registrar if their price is too high for you for renewal. Meaning you can send your name/s to another registrar at cheap price.

Just list it everywhere you know and change name server on only one marketplace you like most. That is all.

I countered the initial offer because i had nothing to loose as the domain was still under transfer lock period. Now the buyer accepted the offer, mu question is, will the deal still pull through since I didn't register for the godaddy marketplace/auction?

If you listed the domain at Afternic; yes Godaddy can do that; because Godaddy is the owner of Afternic and some other 7 registrars as their agencies.
If you did not list it with them; surely someone must have listed it with one of these registrars.

They all sold cheap. Look for highly sold replica and register them.

Selling domains at namepros are always cheap

Just look at the top bar under the heading click on "Sell Domains" at the next window click on "Domain Auctions" at the right corner of the next page; click on "Create new Thread" then create your domain name auction. But you have to read on there instructions before creating the auction.

It happens like that, it is a normal thing and more so one has a marketplace that could be favorable for every individual. Your domains may sell well in this market and may not sell well somewhere else.
