Thats relative my oga
What you might call expensive /over pay (even it is 1 million),some developers wont even collect that amount from you ,so its relative .
Even though i understant it might feel like a large sum to you ,the developers experience and skillset might be worth it .
But..... which developer do you like this na ,I fit collect the work o,I dey find money to invest in my startup,no kidding if there is any job let me know .
Of course, the amount is relative.
But money is not criteria for bad coding, its either you are good or you are a scam. It's not possible for a good programmer to write bad code.

I will still provide names and tell you how much was paid to develop an app and how much the app lost in 12 months.

Oga sometimes the clients are the problem o
Dem no go pay better money .
They would be making strange demands and up to 200 reviews angry
Na all this people wey dey collect 2k for website dey spoil market for us
If you tell them their demands has exceeded what they paid for(after they also stated clearly what they want, and you did exactly that) ,they would label you scam
You go dey hear strange ,strange request .
The more reason why i stopped 3D animation ,Nigerians don't value creative guys ,Imagine somebody asking me to do 5 minutes 3d animation for 15k grin grin grin grin something wey 100k no go do sef .
I kuku shift go web dev and programming
I have been accused of scamming some clients ,including a nairalander sef don blame me ,for the same reason above .

Then I learnt my mistake :

All web/graphics/programmer/animator or any freelancer , should always CLEARLY STATE ,what you are going to do for the client and the limit to the number of reviews that prize will cover
Always collect 60 % before you start anything
Be polite ,I know how annoying some clients are ,but cool temper
Try and meet deadline ,i no say e no easy ,with Nepa and everything ,just try
Give realistic deadline and some days extra incase of unforseen circumstances
Clients too should stop pricing our work like pepper
Programmers too make una ,know una worth, stop collecting yeye money tongue
What happen in the case where you over pay the so called developer?

Just close this thread or better still change the title to something different if you've not got something better to post.

Clients come online to look for programmers who will develop Facebook for them for 30k and yet come back here and post that their fathers are scammers.

Even when competent developers tell them that it costs 3 million they'll say the developer is a scam.

So who do u blame?
Nonsense
I am trying to understand your point here really. So you would rather collect the 30k and develop something stupid?
You sound like a developer, kindly share successful applications that you have developed and the happy clients you have.

If your point is that client negotiate a lower deal is why you dish out bad job then that is plain scam
ProgrammingNames and Numbers Of Bad App Developers/programmers in Nigeria by expjb(op):
Hello,

I think we can use this platform to inform Nigerians about incompetent programmers that collect money under false pretense and at the end of the day messes your business up. Feel free to provide the names, phone numbers and the name of their company so that startups will not hire them ever.

still remain the best to me. They have grown to be a real giant in the industry. They now offer voice SMS. Bulk SMS, Email marketing and a NEW PRODUCT CALLED THE PIN BLASTER(you should try this out) all from the same account. I heard before the end of the month all their clients can convert their bulksms/voice sms credit into RECHARGE CARDS FOR TELECOMS.

You should give them a try.

Have you also noticed, that brands such CoolFM, Domino, Debonair...etc have started connecting with people on blackberry? I am also convinced that when Android phones have the BBM on them the community will be larger and brands can afford to have a huge BlackBerry followers thereby increasing the market share!

I am also convinced that just the way businesses were forced to have Facebook and Twitter accounts; no business will make sense without a blackberry follower.

Back to the matter!

The path to where BlackBerry stores all its pin, this path varies; this depends on whether or not the phone has a memory stick. (Note that you can ask your friends to give you their pins too)

Christianity EtcRe: Oyedepo: The Church Last Paid Me In 1987 by expjb(m): 12:26am On Dec 09, 2012
X-factoria:
So the missionaries that brought free education and health services to as a tool for evangelism are also fools? Those that brought the gospel to us touched our lives and left us better than they met us. They didn't just tell us that Jesus loves us, they showed it by choosing to suffer our afflictions (the mosquito bites etc) and ignoring the comfort of their home country, gave us free education and health paid for by tithes and offerings from their parent churches in the West. That is christianity as defined by Acts of Apostles Chapter 4. There is no greater evangelism than actioning the love of christ to the world. Jesus was all about charity, so why should it be a problem for "men of God",the custodian of His mantle today to just be like christ?

If Oyedepo fasted on his knees, what were his prayers? To gain the whole world so he can glorify mammon with his wealth? So the fact that he was called means he would always be right? Saul, King of Israel was annointed, yet he derailed and the same God that annointed him over Israel deserted him. Oyedepo is not an angel, he is a human being.

Oyedepo is not a true christian by Bible standard. That much is clear and all those following him blindly should go and read Revelations 2 and 3 about the 7 churches which is symbolic of the last day churches. Many profess christ but have abandoned the essence of their calling and have been carried away by their worldly desire for wealth, personal glory etc.
*For your mind you don write be that o?

Breaking news the man admitted that he not perfect and you all should be thankful that he is doing something very useful with the money. AND IF YOU KNOW IT ALL OGA... WHERE IS YOUR LIFE ACHIEVEMENT RIGHT NOW? WHAT COLOSSAL THING HAVE YOU DONE? huh?

Even If he is a scammer... at least he is good at it... WHAT ARE YOU GOOD AT? WHAT ARE YOU ALL ACCUSERS GOOD AT? COS BY NOW YOU SHOULD HAVE MADE CNN

O.T.I.S:
Where then did you get your billions from? f u c k i n g masonic soul hunters disguised in evangelism. "Give all men your ear, but few your heart" we know there are good pastors in the world, but unfortunately, there are sorry, perverted, liars and thieves, who have made christianity an object of mockery, they have made christianity to depend on their own(pastor's)charisma.

"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ" ___ Mahatma Gandhi.
To the doubting Thomas in the house let me use two analogy to clear our doubt

Analogy 1: If your dad is old and has 10 very successful children will he be broke? (Well Bishop Oyedepo has lots of us that loves him very dearly and we are annoyingly successful)
Analogy 2: If you (yes you doubting Thomas) if you render a service that is highly effective, don't you think people will pay premium for it? (Well he teaches kingdom facts that work! trust me i know and people are more than willing to sow seed into his life)
I honestly have a lot but i don’t have time for doubting Thomas like you.
My advice to all of you is to just keep mouth shut and mind your business... that you cannot explain some things doesn’t mean it’s not true. Stop looking for faults

oduko: Guys, lets take it easy here. I like us to be realistic. Yes we cannot make fun of the mosques and the likes for one simple reason: They have not come out flamboyantly like the christian men of God have! Nairaland, this is a bold one o, albeit somewhat funny grin . I remember when growing up, the Church was a revered institution. Now, all manner of people thrive on the sufferings and poverty status of my people to exploit them and feed them with things that are so far from the true Intentions of God. Guys lets go back home to where we started. All these wolves in sheep clothing have made a mockery of the Church. What would Jesus do?
Well i am not in support of churches springing up everywhere like weeds... But i also feel you should give honor to whom honor is due. I only expect that before you people start typing without wit, i expect you guys to listen to these 'men of God'(Oyedepo and Adeboye) and see if God is using them or not. If you are diligent people will come to you wont they? moreover its not like they printed the bible.

With all due respect: How will Islam grow when with the little resources you guys have all you do is raise BOKO HARAMS? huh
