Horiuchi’s example is inspirational to a lot of people. He shows that everything is possible if you put your mind to it (though I doubt that most of us have the patience to figure out how Excel works) and that we should all continue learning new things as we grow older.
Horiuchi started learning how to draw after he retired in 2000
He draws landscapes of Japan on his computer.
Around 20 years ago, before retiring, Horiuchi thought that he needed a new challenge in his life. So he settled on painting. However, he didn’t want to spend money on art supplies he decided to use his PC. But he didn’t go for any fancy digital drawing software either and opted for Excel.
80-year-old Tatsuo Horiuchi from Japan is known all around the world for his incredible drawing skills. However, he doesn’t use pencils, pens, or paint for his art. Instead, he creates masterpieces in Microsoft Excel. https://www.boredpanda.com/80-year-old-excel-paintings-tatsuo-horiuchi/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=organic

A 433-pound gorilla named Shango at Miami zoo has been tested for the coronavirus after he was found to have a low-grade fever after being wounded in a fight with his younger sibling. The 31-year-old's test came back negative when he was treated at the Zoo Miami hospital on Wednesday after the confrontation with Barney, 26, zoo officials said. Photos show the patient sedated and strapped to a treatment table while a medic uses a swab to take a sample from inside his nose with the result coming back negative. The team also performed a TB test and bronchoscopy, which allowed them to examine Shango's lungs. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8514771/Gorilla-tested-coronavirus-injured-fight-little-brother-Zoo-Miami.html

NASA astronauts made history on May 30th this year and became the first people to enter the International Space Station from a commercially-made spacecraft. Bob Behken, along with a fellow badass astronaut Doug Hurley, took off from Florida aboard SpaceX Crew Dragon.

2nd November, 2000 was the last time all humans were on the planet together. Since then, at least one person has remained on the international space station. Astronauts are blessed to explore the unknown and see spectacular vistas most of us will never experience in our lifetime with their very eyes. American astronaut Robert “Bob” Behnken has been living aboard the International Space Station for a little over a month now. He has been sharing unique images of what daily life in space looks like and the mesmerizing view astronauts get to see on his Twitter account. Behnken has recently posted some stunning images from his temporary home at the International Space Station showing the boundary between night and day on Earth and in just a few days, it went viral and has been liked over 60k times. https://www.boredpanda.com/nasa-astronaut-bob-behnken-earth-photos-boundary-between-day-and-night-astrobehnken/?cexp_id=30181&cexp_var=3&_f=trending&utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=organic
