Last Flight: The retiring aircraft gets airborne to scrapyard, 18 August, 2020.

It first entered service in 1994 and flew its last passenger service in April, 2020.

Its top speed is 565mph and it has a take-off speed of 180mph.

It is 231ft (70.6 metres) long, 63ft (19.41 metres) high and has a wingspan of 211ft (64.4 metres).

It is fitted with four Rolls-Royce RB211-524 engines.

British Airways estimates that the aircraft has flown for 115,276 hours on 13,364 flights.

The coronavirus pandemic prompted British Airways to speed up the scrapping of its 31-strong 747 fleet.

And the first of its last remaining jumbos to be retired was pictured taking off from Heathrow Airport today on its final journey.

It flew empty to Spain where it will be scrapped.

The vehicle features an entertainment system including a 43in Ultra HD LCD smart TV, which covers the partition between the driver and the passengers

The audio features an enveloping custom-tuned 7.1 surround sound system, and rear-facing passengers can still watch one of Sly's films on a smaller 12in screen.

The three-seat rear-facing bench includes three-point seatbelts for added safety.

But Sylvester Stallone chose to part with one of his more luxurious cars when he put his 20 inch stretched Cadillac Escalade up for sale for $350,000, or the best offer.

The 74-year-old actor and director is selling the customized vehicle through Becker Automotive Design, which customized the Escalade originally for a whopping $409,000.

An Indian widower has commissioned a lifelike statue of his late wife.

Madhavi Gupta was killed in a car crash three years ago.

Prior to her death, she had reportedly dreamed of having a bungalow.

Gupta made the bungalow a reality to honour his wife.

Srinivasa Gupta, 57, pictured next to the life-size statue of his late wife, Madhavi Gupta.

Madhavi's daughters pictured with the statue of their mother, which reportedly bears a striking resemblance to her.

I've wondered same. A 2005 Nigerian used is still priced between 1.2-1.6m. A colleague bought a Nigerian used Corolla 04 in 2017 for 1.2 million today he's reselling same at 1.35.

Are there no alternatives to a Corolla?

Same goes for 98 - 01 camry. They cost 1.2m - 1.4m.

i believe this is state civil service, not federal

Federal ends at 17 not 16
And Level 8 in federal service is about 50k, not 90

First Degree will give you level 7 - 8 (N100k - 120k per month depends on the mda)

They are all missing because their bodies were completely fragmented by the blast. This is just horrible. Ikeja cantonment blast cannot be compared to this.

So sad.

If you see the video from different angles, just like in a movie.

The shock was throwing bricks and cars like paper.
