President Donald Trump has praised the 'amazing' Coast Guard sailors after dramatic footage showed them jumping on to a moving submarine in the Pacific ocean to stop drug traffickers carrying cocaine. Vice president Mike Pence was on hand Thursday as a total of 39,000 pounds of cocaine and 933 pounds of marijuana were taken off the cutter Munro at Naval Air Station North Island in Coronado. He told service members: 'Make no mistake about it, Coasties, your courageous service is saving American lives. 'You truly are gallantry in action. Let’s hear it for the men and women of the United States Coast Guard Cutter Munro. Job well done.'

In the Pacific. Footage shows the moment U.S Coast Guards jumped on to a moving submarine in the Pacific ocean to stop drug traffickers carrying cocaine. The semi-submersible pounded through deep Eastern Pacific waters filled with thousands of pounds of cocaine on board. Two Coast Guard Cutter Munro crew members leap onto the moving vessel. They then open the hatch door and apprehend the suspected drug traffickers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBq35ilprvg https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7238319/amp/Dramatic-video-shows-Coast-Guard-officers-leap-suspected-drug-smuggling-submarine.html

Singapore Airlines, Air New Zealand, and Cathay Pacific have also sent 747s to Victorville. Other airlines include Air China, Evergreen International, Lufthansa, and United Airlines. FedEx is also a major tenant.
The boneyard is an ever-changing aviation landscape. As old tenants are broken up or sold, new arrivals fresh from mainline service are flown in.
As of March 2015, British Airways has quite a few 747s at the boneyard. The airline has a massive fleet of more than 35 747-400s. But as the average age of its 747 fleet nears 20 years, British Airways is slowly retiring its older birds.
The aircraft's engines the most valuable parts of the plane are also removed. Some are broken up and sold for parts. After the valuable parts, such as the electronics, interior trim, and other reusable components, have been harvested, the remaining pieces are chopped up and sold for scrap.
After they arrive, some planes are preserved so they can, one day, return to service with the airline or be sold to another airline or countries. Those planes have their windows covered in foil and their fluids drained as they prepare to sit in the desert for the long haul.
Airplanes here have been retired, out of service, or declared "surplus" not needed for immediate operations. Jetliners eventually reach end-of-life due to airframe wear and/or obsolescence. Some jetliners are temporarily taken off flying status, and must be stored in a environment that is conducive to preservation. Others are kept for spare parts for flying aircraft. To protect airliners during their storage from wind and sun damage, engines and windows are tightly covered with white, reflective materials. A sealed airliner can thus be stored safely, for years, until the time comes to return it to active duty, or salvage. Eventually, all airliners are removed permanently from service and must be "disposed" of. Airliner "boneyards" in the deserts of the western United States serve several functions temporary storage, maintenance, parts reclamation, and scrapping.

The Southern California Logistics Airport is located in Victorville, California, about 80 miles northeast of Los Angeles. Located in the Mojave Desert, Victorville has a warm and dry climate that make it the perfect place to keep aging airplanes for extended periods of time.
Commercial airliners have limited lifespans. Ultimately, they must be retired from service, stored in "airplane boneyards" or graveyards, and finally dismantled and scrapped. Some of these boneyards are located in the dry deserts of California. Others are located in Arizona, including Davis-Monthan AFB AMARG, Pinal Airpark and the Phoenix Goodyear Airport. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.businessinsider.com/victorville-california-airplane-boneyard-photo-2017-5 Lalasticlala, Mynd44

Ten years after securing the world record, James Cameron’s sci-fi epic Avatar (2009) has finally been unseated as the highest grossing movie of all time, thanks to a team of blockbusting superheroes. Avengers Endgame, (2019) had grossed $2,790,216,193 at the global box office as at 21 July, a comfortable $500,000 ahead of Avatar’s $2,789,705,275. Avatar had reigned for nearly ten years as the world’s biggest movie, and fought off stiff competition from the likes of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Jurassic World (2015) to hold on to its crown. https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/amp/news/2019/7/avengers-endgame-overtakes-avatar-as-the-most-successful-movie-at-the-global-box-584354 Lalasticlala, Mynd44

Police had no leads in his missing person's case for a decade until a decomposing body was miraculously discovered back in January. Contractors had gone into the supermarket, which shut down three years ago, to remove the fittings and tear apart the freezer unit. They discovered the body in an 18-inch gap between the freezer and a wall. At the time, authorities said it appeared the body had been there for a lengthy period of time. The remains were sent off for DNA testing after they were discovered and police have only just confirmed that they belong to Murillo-Moncada.
