A$AP Rocky is said to have recently found himself detained in a Swedish prison after his alleged arrest for a street fight.

The American rapper has been held since being arrested on suspicion of assault on 3 July.

A prosecutor now has until 25 July to decide whether to charge him, Stockholm District Court decided.

The vast majority of prisoners at ADX are allowed out of their cells for only a few hours a week, for exercise, occasional visits to a 'law library' cell, social or legal visits, and medical consultations.

When removed from their cells, inmates are placed in full restraints and escorted by two guards.

They are forced to eat all meals inside tiny cells just feet from open toilets.

The grim facility is seen in photographs from human rights group Amnesty International, which has decried the federal government's lack of transparency about jail practices.

Guzman, 62, will spend the remainder of his life at ADX in Florence (pictured), a fortress that's home to some of America's most notorious criminals.

More than a dozen NYPD squad cars escorted Guzman to the helipad during the highly-secretive transfer mission.

Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzman has been helicoptered out of New York City and is being transferred to the high security prison in Colorado where he will serve a life sentence.

The Mexican drug kingpin was spotted boarding a chopper at the Wall Street helipad in lower Manhattan at around 3am Friday as a number of heavily-armed guards and more than a dozen NYPD squad cars stood watch.

The helicopter transported Guzman to Floyd Bennet Field in Brooklyn, where he was placed on a plane bound for the United States Penitentiary Administrative Maximum Facility in Florence, Colorado.

Commonly known as ADX, the fortress is the only federal super-maximum prison in the US.

Guzman, 62, is gearing up to spend the remainder of his life at the prison that's home to America's most notorious criminals.

Dignitaries from across the United Arab Emirates bow their heads in prayer at the funeral for Sheikh Khalid on Wednesday.

Tens of thousands of mourners turned out for the funeral of Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the son of Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, which was held in the UAE on Wednesday morning.

The body of Sheik Khalid is carried into the King Faisal Mosque in Sharjah, the city which his father rules over in the UAE.

It really wasn't easy.
The pushing became intense, and the baby wasn't coming.
One of the midwives (the fattest of the three ladies in the room) had to climb on her tommy and was pressing her tommy. My eyes nearly tore to pieces from the gory sight, with all colours of blood pouring out from the opening, and her shouts and cries piercing my heart.
I couldn't bear it any longer.
I allowed her hand which I was holding at that time to drop off my grip (but I continued with my prayers, but this time, silently in my heart), and I shifted back so as to allow the ladies do their thing (which was too rough for my sight, yet I stayed there and watched), but then, I allowed tears to cloud off my vision of the sight a bit.
Amidst my blurry teary vision, I heard my wife's calm normal voice again (no more piercing shouts or cries) “Thank you Jesus, Thank you Jesus", and then a baby cry.
With great joy, I wiped my tears immediately, and smiles came back to me.
I checked time... 3:27am.. Went over, touched the little baby, then waited for them to clean baby up, I carried her and waited while they cleaned up my wife.
That was on 24th January 2019.

A Florida grandmother finally became a US citizen at the age of 103 on Friday after entering the country from Haiti when she was 88-years-old.

Andrea Joseph proved you are never too old to achieve the American Dream when she joined 150 others in becoming officially a United States naturalized citizen on Flag Day.

She was sworn in in front of friends and family at a naturalization ceremony in Miami and a picture shows Andrea proudly showing off her papers in front of an American flag.

Joseph, who was born on August 15, 1915, in Jacmel, Haiti, came to the United States as a permanent resident more than 15 years ago, CNN reports.


It was the first time Joseph had ever been on a plane and saw her reunited with her family in the US.

Her granddaughter, Mildred Ogé, said: 'We obviously didn't think this would ever come true. This is a great accomplishment for my grandmother.

'To have this happen today, on June 14th, we're excited and overjoyed by this achievement.'
