President Trump indicated that lobbying from his daughter Ivanka, who showed him pictures of the caged and kenneled children, and wife Melania had caused him to have a change in position. Both the first lady and the first daughter (pictured) were in the Oval Office on Wednesday when Trump signed the directive.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order ending family separation at the border. US immigration officials say 2,342 children were separated from 2,206 parents between 5 May and 9 June. "It's about keeping families together," Mr Trump said at the signing ceremony on Wednesday. "I did not like the sight of families being separated," he said, but added the administration would continue its "zero tolerance policy" of criminally prosecuting anyone who crosses the border illegally.

A father and son who are both police officers ended up recreating the pose from a photograph of the pair of them, some 20 years after the original was first taken. In 1998, Officer Andy Gould with the Auburn Police Department sat in his patrol car along with his son, Michael, sitting on his lap. This year, the pair decided to take a trip down memory lane and recreate the picture. 'When I get bigger I'm going to be my Dad's partner and catch bad guys and burglars,' the caption on the photo reads. It seems that Michael kept his promise as he later followed his father into law enforcement. Andy Gould is with the Auburn Police Department while son Michael is a sheriff's deputy with the King County Sheriff's Office.

The report was released as President Donald Trump faces a criticism over his administration's practice of separating migrant children from their parents on the US-Mexico border. The United Nations has slammed the separation practice as unconscionable, while Amnesty International blasted it as 'nothing short of torture.' A view from Mexico of the US Customs and Boarder Protection is housing underage people caught illegally entering the United States at the Tornillo Port of Entry in Guadalupe Bravos. Immigrant children are led by staff in single file between tents at a detention facility next to the Mexican border in Tornillo, Texas. US Border Patrol agents patrol the bed of the Rio Grand in front of where the US Customs and Boarder Protection is housing underage people.

The United States received more asylum requests than any other developed nation in 2017, overtaking Germany, new figures show. Asylum requests went up 26 percent in the US to 330,000 last year, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development said in its annual International Migration Outlook. Germany, which had topped the ranking since 2013, meanwhile saw a 73 percent drop in applications to 198,000 as the massive influx to Europe across the Mediterranean has slowed, the report said. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5864807/US-asylum-seekers-destination-OECD-2017.html

alexistaiwo:Well, she weighs 250pounds, that's around 120kg(more than 2bags of cement). She can multiply that in the stunt. |
sisisioge:The best opt is to fly. You cant outrun them, and they climb well. Tree without branches, using their claws.

Cool |
alexistaiwo:You sure? Don't know about this one, but ive seen lion tearing and deflating tyres of a broken down suv in the park. Ive seen a lion killing a deer almost of is size and climbing a tree with it. Gently placing it on a branch. They're strong. |
The group of men are professional performers from the World Wrestling Entertainment world. 'Just let us know when you are ready to tap out!' one of the staff is heard saying. The zoo posted the footage with the caption: 'How many superstar wrestlers does it take to win in tug of war with a 2 1/2 year old lion cub? Apparently more than 3!' Fabian Aichner looks subdued after losing a game of tug-of-war to the young male lion.

In the hilarious footage filmed at San Antonio Zoo in Texas, the crowd cheers as the muscular trio of Ricochet, Fabian Aichner and Killian Dain to best the still-young cub. Crowd look on as the team try their hardest to pull the rope which feeds through into the lion enclosure. On the other side of the glass the lion holds the rope with an iron grip, refusing to move even an inch. The crowd can be seen capturing the moment on their mobile phones while thezoo staff grin, clearly amused.

It was man versus beast at the San Antonio Zoo. In what's become a viral video, three professional World Wrestling Entertainment stars matched up against Axelle the lioness in a game of tug of war. When zoo staff heard from World Wrestling Entertainment that a number of professional wrestlers would be in town May 19th and wanted to see the zoo, they arranged some special activities: feeding the giraffes, some behind-the-scenes time with a rhinoceros, (both of which are open to the public) and a tug of war with the lioness. The three burly wrestlers were no match for the lion as they took on the big cat in a game of tug-of-war. They're barely able to pull on this," San Antonio Zoo Director of Public Relations Chuck Cureau said. "It just demonstrates the power these wild animals have. They may be trained but they're certainly not tamed, and people underestimate the power of these animals." But with dozens watching and three wrestlers working together, they could not pull the rope from the mouth of 250-pound Axelle. "She's not moving," one of the wrestlers said as he dropped the ropes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cVkekrTXAs

Eight people were injured in the collision but it appears as that many more were hit by the vehicle. Two Mexicans, two Russians and one Ukrainian were hospitalised in the crash. At least one person hit was wearing a Mexico kit, with the North American nation due to kick-off their World Cup campaign against Germany in Moscow's Luzhniki stadium tomorrow.
