People marching against gun violence were met with counter-protesters in Arizona on Saturday, some of whom were carrying guns openly on their hips.

An estimated 15,000 people attended the March for Our Lives 'sibling' protest in Phoenix, Arizona, on Saturday.

But these marchers were met with a few dozen counter-protesters who were standing up for their second amendment rights.

Some of these counter-protesters reportedly brought their AR-15s and other weapons to the event to show the marchers that their gun-totting rights would not be impacted.

Emma Gonzalez, one of the most vocal of the event organizers, went silent on stage until she had been there for 6 minutes and 20 seconds, the amount of time it took gunman Nikolas Cruz to murder 17 people at Stoneman Douglas on February 14.



Parkland survivor David Hogg, 17, was among the 20 young speakers at the Washington DC event. At the end of his impassioned speech, he took a presidential tone and said: 'Thank you, I love you all. God bless you and God bless the United States of America'

People enjoy their privacy and will do just about anything to keep it secure.

And that was certainly the case for a patient in a Kansas City hospital who jumped on his girlfriends car after she took his cellphone.


'Y'all, see a girl go through here?


She took my phone?

said the unlucky man as he runs to the parking lot in a hospital gown.



'Oh sh*t hospital, there's some sh*t always going down,'

the cameraman narrates as he quickly follows the man outside.


'Where the fu*k she at bro?

the man screams as he searches for the woman's car.


And once he finds her, he immediately runs at her and screams

'Hey, where my phone?


'Don't worry bout it,'

the woman can be heard shouting back as she starts the engine for her car.


'Why you going through my phone,' the irate man asks trying to get his mobile device back from the scornful woman.



As the man continues demanding his phone back, the woman in the car starts her vehicle and begins moving.


'Bit*h, don't hit me, the cameraman asserts as the woman drives off.


But he didn't give up, demanding his phone and jumping on the trunk of the car as the woman speeds down the road.


It is unknown what came of the man and whether or not he was able to get his phone.

A Utah-based company designs custom shelters, where students can hide in the event of a tornado, a hurricane, an earthquake, or a school shooter.


On Tuesday, a gunman fired at two students at Great Mills High School in Maryland, injuring both of them.

The event was the latest school shooting in the US, where a nationwide debate on the role of guns especially automatic weapons in civic society is ramping up.


On February 14, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida made headlines when gunman Nikolas Cruz allegedly killed 17 people.

There likely won't be one solution to gun violence in schools. But one Utah-based couple believes they have created a temporary way that could make students safer.



This 5-by-6-foot shelter was constructed for a classroom at Healdton Elementary in Oklahoma.

Featuring 6,000 pounds of steel, it can fit more than 20 students and costs $20,000.
