Cosplay:O ga o....Fraud everywhere |
Nairalanddist:On top of the dashboard on the driver’s side. Inside the driver’s side door.

TheMadame:Some people are just heartless, that's all i can say. |
Kakamorufu:Lol....With you bro. The White House was put in lockdown on Saturday afternoon after a man shot himself dead at the North Lawn. The shooting happened at around noon and sparked panic inside as staff were told to shelter in place. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. This is the car police say belonged to him. They worked at it throughout the afternoon after he was declared dead. None of the First Family were in the White House at the time but it was still putin lockdown. The FBI worked at the scene throughout the afternoon. The incident brought traffic to a standstill for a short while

SaAbbas:Sick abi sick, maybe they will take the gun control if this building fall a victim instead of those innocent schools. Just that is not possible. |
TheMadame:Don't even know what to say again. |
The president is in Florida. He played golf on Saturday morning and is pictured returning to Mar-a-Lago afterwards. Trump was informed about the shooting, according to White House officials, but he carried on tweeting about other subjects

The White House is on lockdown after a man shot himself at the North Lawn. The shooting happened at around noon on Saturday and sparked panic inside as staff were told to shelter in place. Political journalists sheltered in the briefing room and tweeted first about the breach. Not long afterwards, the Secret Service said it was a person who had shot themselves. The president is at Mar-a-Lago for the weekend with the First Lady and Barron. DC police say it was a man who pulled a gun on himself. There is not thought to be any outstanding threat. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5458143/Shots-fired-White-House.html Lalasticlala, Mynd44

enitiObanke:Lol....If you search through the section, or check some guys posts on this thread, you will see them. I didn't create the thread to paint anyone, but just want bring to the notice of everyone willing to own a car. They should be careful and run a VIN check before buying any car. Lalasticlala what do you think? |
Justanodadude:Selling that car without telling the buyer the minor crash on the history is fraud. When you disclose the history to buyers and they still willing to buy, then no issue. For the VIN check, i dont have idea. Ask ipfreely, cosplay, computerglobal |
klexycole:Ipfreely, cosplay |
oloriooko:You right, not even a billion dollars worth human life. But they did something to console the families. What will you say about a country where people get killed like this almost everyday because of cow and no one is moving an inch. Even the head of the country is not even talking about it. |
A $31.5million victims' fund that started as a GoFund Me effort announced plans Friday to pay $275,000 to the families of each of the 58 people killed in the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history. The Las Vegas Victims Fund said the maximum $275,000 also will be paid to 10 other people who were paralyzed or suffered permanent brain damage in the October 1 shooting on the Las Vegas Strip. The full $31.5million will be distributed among the injured and families of the dead, the group said. The nonprofit posted a chart projecting payments on a scale to a total of 532 people, including more than $10million divided among 147 people who were hospitalized. The fund includes millions of dollars in corporate donations and tens of thousands of individual donations that ranged in size from $1 to $400,000. On the night of October 1, 2017, a gunman opened fire on a crowd of concert goers at the Route 91 Harvest music festival on the Las Vegas Strip in Nevada, leaving 58 people dead and 851 injured. Between 10:05 and 10:15 p.m, 64-year-old Stephen Paddock fired more than 1,100 rounds from his suite on the 32nd floor of the nearby Mandalay Bay hotel. About an hour after he fired his last shot into the crowd, he was found dead in his room from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His motive remains unknown. The aftermath of the October 1 shooting at the Route 91 Harvest festival is seen. A victim's fund is preparing to make disbursements to those injured and the families of the dead. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5456137/275K-promised-families-killed-Vegas-shooting.html

akanniade10:Maybe that's not the first accident. |
bjt:Imagine, people should support VIN check. |
Softmojo:You said it all bro, most esp your last statement. Imagine a rollover 2008 camry with deployed airbags, damaged frame, smashed windshields but replaced. Now going for 2.9m last. |
This damage is not that bad if buyers are aware. Only need to change front/rear bumpers, side mirrors and little touch on the body. Not that bad, but is unfair selling it as clean title or accident free. Disclose to your buyers.

fortune1894:Yea, i know.....They should stop feeding me and stop buying data for me. |

Ipfreely:But i will appreciate it if they don't mention names, pictures only. But viewers can check from page 2 of this thread for links to their adverts. |
Shedrack777:Exactly bro.. |
Softmojo:Yes, sure. Accident free can be expensive, but some will tell you accident free, first body, clean title and the cars have rolled over and over. Why not just let them know? The history of the car below here is not bad, i will buy it if i can afford. But some people will tag the car clean title and tell you 3.5 asking price

The poster of these cars below is one the dealers here on nairaland that's doing the necessary, i like checking his adverts. Some of his cars have crashed(minor), but he gives details in pictures right from the point of purchase, foreign soil to the stand here in Nigeria. Some nairalanders even commends him. From ordinary bumper crash to broken head lamps, side mirrors or anything replaced. Disclose every detail to your buyers. I wish Nairaland and Mods can make it compulsory for car sellers here to always post the VIN of the cars they're selling.

Please note, this thread is not to pull down anyone or anybody's business. 'Some' cars on Nairaland, not 'all' cars on Nairaland. For many years, we blame our leaders, our government, politicians that they are thieves, corrupt, they are liars and so on. But have we checked ourselves? Are we in any way better? If given the chance to hold their offices, are we not going to do worse? Where we are now, our homes, streets, offices, little businesses we doing, how do we deal with our clients, our partners, colleagues, neighbors, friends, relatives and so on ![]() Have we been fair enough, have been transparent or honest enough ![]() As a car dealer, i think your clients have the right to know about everything you know about the car you're selling to them. Some of these cars were posted here on Nairaland accident free untill some guys started running the lot number/VIN Most time, some dealers claim clean title cars are too expensive, that's why they go for cars with minor crashes. I agree, clean title cars are expensive, but some of these dealers will still brand the accidented cars to be accident free cars, selling it thesame price with clean title. Imagine a seriouly wrecked 2007 camry SE going for 3.4m, maybe asking price. Sometimes is not about the money or price, but the disclosure, the transparency, let your customers no what they're buying. If you tell them and don't buy, others will buy. Minor accidents or major accidents, tell your clients. Then, some of these dealers on Nairaland are middle men/salesmen, they advertise and sell cars for people without knowing much about the history of what they're posting or selling. You have a name to protect. Three years ago my brother was a victim, bought a Toks 2009 camry XLE from a dealership in Akure, 3.1m 3months later car started showing itself, today not engine starting, tomorrow A.C. not working, next tomorrow power steering, next oil leakage, overheating, fuel pump, next braking system, or wiring problems, just within 10months of purchase. They were working on the electronics one day when one of the tech guys run the VIN, you wont believe the history. The accident must have claimed lives, it was non-repairable. But maybe with magic they repaired and my brother bought it. We went back to the dealer to ask him about the history. He was still claiming accident free until we show him the pictures, he started giving excuses that it was a mistake. But thank God today, he has nothing on his stand. My bro used the car for 1 year and about 3months, sold it to his mechanic for 900k The present condition of a car is important, as long as it's working fine, but the history is important as well. Please disclose history of your cars to your buyers, customers right from Nairaland. Not until they come for physical inspection, like one of the posters of these cars said yesterday. You didn't disclose the history here, but you will disclose the accident the car involved when buyers come for physical inspection, when you're smelling money, that's when you will now tell them that the cars had accidents and show them the pictures. This is a 2014 Honda Accord going for over 5m here on Nairaland. Imagine you're buying this honda and the dealer is just showing you the picture of the accident at point of payment ![]() These cars are still up for sale I advice buyers to always ask for VIN and run it before any negotiation, if they're ok with the history, go for it. And if the damage on the history check is too extreme, you walk away.
