A lonely old man lived in a lonely old house in the suburbs of a city.

He never left his house for long.

It was a midsummer, a Friday when the mailman walked by the house and called the lonely old man.

There was no answer.

When he looked into the window, he saw that old man lying in a pool of blood.

When the policemen arrived, they found a newspaper from Tuesday, 2 bottles of warm milk and one cold bottle.

The next day, the killer was arrested.

Who was the killer, and how did the police figure this one out?

Jack was placed in a cell 2×2 with one window at the top of the wall.

The window was big enough for him to go through it but too high for anyone to reach it.

The cell was empty.

It had nothing in it, except a shovel.

He had only two days to break out.

How will Jack escape?

A dead body is found at the bottom of a multistory building.

It looks quite clear that the person has committed suicide by jumping off from one of the floors.

A detective comes, goes to the first floor and walks in the room facing the direction in which the body was found.

He opens the closed window of that room and flips a coin towards the floor.

He goes to the second floor and does the exact same thing till the last floor.

Then, when he climbs down, he tells the team that it is a murder, not suicide.

How did he know?

Mr Brandon was a keen animal enthusiast and he posted photos of him with his pets, including a huge Burmese python draped over his body, to his social media accounts.

While pythons have killed humans before, experts believe this would be the first ever case in Britain.

A source told The Sun: 'It is under investigation whether the snake was involved. The death is in an investigation stage between natural causes and an inquest.

'Investigators are waiting for the full toxicology results and reports to come back from a post-mortem.

Depending on the results, an inquest may be opened.'

Pythons have been known to be deadly however.

A man was killed by a python in Indonesia earlier in the year, while two boys died in Canada after one escaped from a pet shop in 2013.

A spokesperson for Surrey and Hampshire Reptile Rescue said last night:

'There's never been a case of a python killing someone in Britain before. They only kill what they eat.'

An experienced snake handler was found dead in his bedroom just yards away from his pet python.

Dan Brandon, 31, suffered 'serious injuries' and died at his home in Hampshire, where he lived with his parents and an array of exotic pets.

One of his snakes, which can grow up to an incredible 25ft, was found slivering near his body, after seemingly escaping from its pen.

Islands of pumice having been ejected from the volcano were spotted floating in surrounding seas by sailors for years after the blast.

But the impact of Mount Tambora's blast wasn't localised to Indonesia or even Asia.

The consequences of such an explosion affected the entire world.

The period following the eruption is widely known as the 'year without a summer', with much of the northern hemisphere seeing no seasonal change enduring a bleak, year-round winter.

The cold climate caused by less sunlight passing through the stratosphere in the wake of the volcano caused chaos.

Mount Tambora began to erupt just before sunset on 5 April 1815 and continued for five further days, blasting even more ferociously on 10 April.

The eruptions were heard 2,000 kilometres (1,242miles) away.

Molten rock shot more than 40 kilometres (24 miles) into the sky and a thick veil of ash spread over a million square kilometres (386,000 square miles).

In total, around 140billion tonnes of rock, ash and debris was flung into the sky.

The entire region was plunged into darkness.Debris hit the sea surrounding the island with such force and in such huge volumes that deadly tsunamis up to four metres high (13ft) were set in motion.

A blast heard 1,200 miles away and 140billion tonnes of rock and ash.

It has been over 200 years since Mount Tamborain Indonesia erupted violently, resulting in death and disorder on a global scale.

According to The Guinness Book of World Records it is the deadliest volcano in history.

Here MailOnline Travel reveals the horrifying - but fascinating history of the blast and how tourists today can take a peek at its incredible crater.

Mount Tambora is an active stratovolcano meaning it is made up of layers of ash and lava on the island of Sumbawa in Indonesia, once known as the Dutch East Indies.

Its eruption in 1815 killed around 10,000 people instantly, while the fallout from the blast included formidable tsunami waves and then famine and starvation, which took the death toll up to some 100,000 people.

The exact number of fatalities varies with some sources saying as many as 120,000 people were killed while others put the figure at around 70,000.
