RomanceLadies Can You Have A Date In This Bangkok Restaurant Where They Serve Insects by Explorers(op):
They are usually the stuff of travel nightmares or reality TV shows.

But, according to one Thai restaurant, eating creepy-crawlies is the new food of choice for hipsters in the country's capital city.

The adventurous eatery in question, called Insects in the Backyard, claims to be Bangkok's first fine-dining menu of its kind and is popular with both locals and tourists alike.

Explores could you please explain how the glasses and ceramics don't tumble?
It happens during turbulence or sudden nose dive, rare occasions.

Just like a cruise ship hitting a heavy storm, everything onboard, passengers, furnitures, electronics will be flying everywhere.

People die as a result of that with damages that worth millions of dollars.

Sit back and relax: The jet features lots of social space - after gorging on a Michelin-star dinner, guests can recline on spacious couches.

These transform into flat beds for those wanting to pack in a bit of sleep before landing at their next destination.

In the roomy bathrooms, guests can freshen up with a range of fragrant products from the luxury Italian fashion house.

Other highlights include a bar (stocked with an array of fine wines), large flat-screen televisions, free global Wi-Fi and personal Bose noise-cancelling headphones.

The interiors of the Crystal Skye are designed to a high spec, but don't compromise on safety, with seat belts on the dining chairs in case of turbulence during mealtimes.

10 Young Nigerian Poets You Should Be Reading In 2017.

Foreward

Before our very eyes, the poetry of Boluwatife Afolabi has emerged, as butterfly from cocoon, and taken dainty flight.

It is a privilege to witness these protean moments and to relish the ineffable joy they yield.

This chapbook has seen prior incarnations.

In the way that the wind happens to the place with most of the tall grass, Afolabi's inspiration has settled on those boughs that most exercise our sentience and our humanity.

He, the poet, has come a long way from where he started.

If the trajectories mapped in these poems are any indication, this poet is one to watch.

I'm chuffed, to be asked to write this introduction to a poet of enormous promise and potential.

I am amazed at the quality of mind and poetics deployed in this chapbook.

I've watched the unfurling of the banner. Seeing it flying the crest of Afolabi's imagination with the first rays of this new day bolsters my faith in the future of African poetry.

The poems here are shaped by a vigilant intelligence and an astute understanding of what matters.

They have an emotional depth to them that belie the age or experience of the poet.

In these poems, one inexorably comes to agree with the sage who observed that good poems know more than the poet does.

In a time when hunger for fame and undisguised greed for money has come to describe some self-styled poets, it is truly refreshing to encounter a true poet.

True poets are moved by what they can give, what they can describe, what they can create not merely what they can get.

Afolabi's poems are pollinators, they are butterflies to be admired for their damask, yes, but they are way more than what appears.

They keep the cycle of energy and life going.

This, ultimately, is what we are wired for.

This is why poems such as are here contained will always matter.

Using an ATM alone is risky these days, especially at night.

Security cameras, cubicle-type walls, and even armed guards have been set up at certain locations to discourage muggers and opportunists, but there's one defense mechanism that could prove to be even more effective and all it will ask for in return is a treat.

She bought a Platinum, Gold and Diamond necklace, and a Louis Vuitton bag.

Mills, who worked at Matthews since 1981, pleaded guilty to embezzling nearly $13million with her attorney, Phil DiLucente, revealing she plans on 'paying back every single dollar'.

She pleaded guilty in March to mail fraud, wire fraud, tax evasion and money laundering and agreed to spend seven and a half years in prison.

However, that sentence was extended by an additional 10 months after they found out she had more assets hidden away.

In court she said: 'I stand here today, before you, a broken woman.

I've deceived myself and my family who raised me to be honorable and follow the law.

'She is blaming her embezzlement on a gambling addiction, in spite of prosecutors arguing the intent was pure greed.

CrimeCashier Embezzled $13M, Bought Houses, Yachts, Cars Jalied For 8yrs In U.S(Pics) by Explorers(op):
A cashier has been jailed for more than eight years after admitting to embezzling over $13million from her employer over 16 years.

Cynthia Mills, 56, executed the largest embezzlement crime in Western Pennsylvania history pocketing the cash from Matthews International, a privately held investment company.

She used the money to fund a lavish lifestyle buying three homes, eight cars, a yacht, fur coats, taxidermy designer purses and jewelry along with power tools and furniture.

U.S. District Judge Nora Barry Fischer called it 'a sophisticated scheme of deception,' reports thePittsburgh Post-Gazette.

'It's the largest scheme of embezzlement seen in this court,' said the judge in a courtroom in Pittsburgh.

'It was thoughtful, deliberate conduct,' she said.

She and her attorney (pictured here) also argued the embezzlement was because she didn't feel valued at work and believes she was overlooked for raises and promotions.
