The house was built in 1882, was moved to a new location to make room for a condominium development.

According to the consultant overseeing the project, the move cost approximately $400,000 and involved removing street lights, parking meters, and utility lines.

A San Francisco broker paid $400,000 to uproot his entire two-story Victorian house and move it to a new plot six blocks away in downtown San Francisco.

Tim Brown, who bought the six-bedroom home dubbed the Englander house for $2.6million in 2013, has been laying plans for the move for nearly eight years,

All this shalaye isn't necessary. Moreover not many people use front loader washing machine in Nigeria. What most people use here are spinners which is not dangerous. Only a very tiny fraction use the front loaders.

The life of a child is priceless.

Im sure at least one family with toddler(s) is still using front loader, the Shalaye is for that ONE family.

So sad.....Witnessed this recently, thank God someone was around.

In 2010, a 10-day old baby girl died after her mother accidentally put her in a top-loading washing machine with the laundry.

A small child has died after being found unresponsive in a front-loading washing machine that had been turned on.

The terrible tragedy unfolded in Christchurch, New Zealand, where police were called to the outer suburb of Hoon Hay about 5pm on Friday.

'Police are making enquiries into the circumstances of the death and the coroner has been informed.'

The child's death is not being treated as suspicious.

A large group of mourners gathered at the home on Sunday to farewell the pre-school aged child.
