bigtt76:The substandard is what you asked for, ask your politicians. A project, standard, with 1,000 years lifespan will cost #10,000. The Governor, Minister, and committees set up will budget and approve #50,000 for the project but release 5,000 to the contractors. What do you expect ![]() |

Another glass-bottomed walkway, in Chongqing, China, is built on the side of a cliff face at 390ft high and extends 262 feet into the air.
|
Opened September, 2020. Since its opening, more than 200,000 people have visited the bridge.
|
The bridge was designed by He Yunchang, a steel structure expert who was also involved in the design of Beijing's Bird's Nest Stadium for the 2008 Olympics.
|
The crossing actually consists of three undulating bridges and part of its deck is made from transparent glass.
|
The bridge sits on 459ft (140m) above a ravine, 328ft long (100m) and spans the Shenxianju valley in Zhejiang province.

These pictures show a double-deck glass bridge in China with a mind-boggling undulating design that is just too scary for some people. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4711260/The-terrifying-glass-bottom-bridge-juts-cliff.html

The couple had been married for decades. The trio started meeting for threesomes at a Super 8 hotel several months ago, according to police. It's unclear how the couple met Khalil, or how their party plans came about in the first place.
|
Kristie and Kahlil also had a separate sexual relationship, just the two of them,' Capt. Beth Green, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, said. After engaging in group sex, Kristie and Khalil kept sleeping together. She complained to Khalil that her husband called her a 'fat LovePeddler' and that she wanted him dead because he was so 'verbally abusive'. On March 22, Khalil entered the couple's family home while they were sleeping and shot the pastor dead in his bed, according to police. He then fled the scene and Kristie called 911, claiming an intruder had broken in and killed him. Four days later, she confessed to police that she and her lover had planned the murder. She said she gave him the gun, a box of bullets and left the backdoor of their home open for him to enter through. Both have been booked into county jail on first degree murder charges.

Goahead:Other vessel can pass now. |
Rescue crews descended upon the scene in an effort to free the container ship blocking the Suez Canal today. Emergency crews were ordered to start offloading containers off the enormous carrier and workers plan to make two attempts on Sunday to free the vessel.
|
Peter Berdowski (right), CEO of Boskalis, the salvage firm hired to extract the Ever Given, has since said that said the company hoped to pull the container ship free within days using a combination of heavy tugboats, dredging and high tides.
|
On Saturday, the head of the Suez Canal Authority told journalists that strong winds were 'not the only cause' for the Ever Given running aground, appearing to push back against conflicting assessments offered by others. Lt. Gen. Osama Rabei (pictured) said that an investigation was ongoing but did not rule out human or technical error.

Tugboats are seen on Sunday near the Ever Given container ship which ran aground in the Suez Canal, Egypt The plan is for the tugboats to nudge the 400-meter-long Ever Given as dredgers continue to vacuum up sand from underneath the vessel and mud caked to its port side, Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement, which manages the Ever Given, said.

The captain of a rescue crew gives a thumbs-up. Nighttime operations taking advantage of the supermoon king tide successfully re-floated the Ever Given early on Monday. The 1,300-foot ship had completely blocked shipping traffic on the vital Suez Canal for a week. Satellite data early this morning showed the straightened Ever Given surrounded by a squadron of tugboats with its stern no longer appearing to be blocking the entire shipping route

timay:Get it now, but do you know that most of these vessels now have tens of armed guards on board? Like mercenaries, snipers heavily armed with sophisticated weapons. Ive seen their videos. |
timay:Lol...... Pirates won't dare when it comes to Military gunships or destroyers. As it is now, any unidentified vessel/boat that's not oil tanker, container ship, that's not of Military or government without clearance spotted 5km - 10km from the queued vessels will be questioned/detained or receive firepower. |
rottable:They called US Navy already. |
The only alternative is to sail around Africa which will take a week but shipping firms have called US Navy for help again pirate as over 300 vessel are in traffic and increasing. The boss of a salvage firm has revealed his masterplan to clear the huge tanker blocking the Suez canal using two large tugboats to tow the ship to safety. Peter Berdowski (right), CEO of Boskalis, the salvage firm hired to extract the Ever Given, has since said that said the company hoped to pull the container ship free within days using a combination of heavy tugboats, dredging and high tides. Berdowski said two large tugboats were on their way to the canal and are expected to arrive over the weekend. He said the company aims to harness the power of the tugs, dredging and tides, which he said are expected to be up to 50 centimeters (20 inches) higher Saturday. 'The combination of the (tug) boats we will have there, more ground dredged away and the high tide, we hope that will be enough to get the ship free somewhere early next week,' he said. If that doesn't work, the company will remove hundreds of containers from the front of the ship to lighten it, effectively lifting the ship to make it easier to pull free, Berdowski said. A crane was already on its way that can lift the containers off the ship, he said.
