Tuesday morning, 08/07/2025, I went to the U.S. consulate in Lagos, Nigeria for my visa interview. There were a lot of people getting rejected. The visa officer was a white male in his 30,s. Below is the interview transcript.

VO: pass me your Passport and i-20 VO: How many Universities did you apply to?

Me: I applied to Only Webster University, St. Louis

VO: When did you graduate? Me: 2021

VO: What’s your past degree course? Me: BSC Political Science

VO: Have you traveled abroad before?

Me: No reason to VO: How would you be funding your studies ? Me: From my Personal Savings from my Business VO: what’s your Business?

Me: I have a Luxury Clothing Brand VO: I am sorry you are not qualified for this Visa

If anyone has any advice or tips for the interview, I would really appreciate your help!

I have 25,000$ at hand can I immigrate legally to the USA with this amount??
