There had been a buzz for a while about Messi and Guardiola reuniting in the blue side of Manchester.

Manchester City boss, Josep Guardiola has always been firm on his admiration for the Argentinian.

In this vein, a possible reunion had continued to mount.

The Argentine forward has been a Target for Manchester City for a while especially through the fondness the City boss had for Lionel.

The two had had a couple of spells during Pep's time at the Camp Nou.

And although FC Barcelona is keen on their captain remaining at the club, Messi has still not decided his future.

Speaking about the Barcelona captain, the City boss said;

"He's very strong, the strongest. Beyond his quality, it's his mentality, his head.

"In four years at Barcelona, we played a lot of games in training and he didn't lose even one. If he had lost, he would've left.

"He has that competitive mentality that only four or five players in history have, they have something different.

"We all knew that Messi was the best, but then there were six or seven others who were strong and others who didn't play because the others were so strong."

Hopes from the Barcelona board are that the Argentine remains at the Camp Nou.

There is no questioning the significant importance of Federico Valverde to Real Madrid because it's definitely obvious.

No offense to other Real Madrid midfielders but it is clear that there is a little more needed.

Los Blancos suffered a disastrous loss to Chelsea FC in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

The Merengues were outplayed both at the Estadio di Stefano and at the Stamford Bridge, they were in Chelsea's pockets.

The caliber of midfielders on the Real Madrid side were a class of their own but a lot more than their technicality was needed.

On Chelsea's side, they had the French midfielder, N'golo Kante who seemed not to be troubled as he had the middle in his locks.

So, why is Federico important in this time?

Valverde is not the most technical midfielder as far as Real Madrid is concerned, but he is a decision maker in a split second.

The Uruguayan brings the young vibe and energy to the Los Blancos midfield when he is on the pitch.

It is expected that the Uruguayan should be used more often than usual in coming seasons.

London club, Chelsea has named Mason Mount as the recipient of their Player of the year award for the 2020/2021 season.

The vote was done online, which involved fans to determine the team's most effective player this season.

This online voting declared the Englishman as the club's best player for the past nine months.

Mason Mount has been quite a show for the London side, breaking into the first team under Frank Lampard in 2019/2020.

The Englishman has made the most appearances this season than any other Chelsea player and played the highest minutes as a first-team player.

In 50 games across all competitions, Mount has scored 9 goals and made 7 assists, coming second only to Timo Werner in goal contributions.

The 22-year-old has been able to mature in his games and gained a sense of adaptability as he progressed through the years.

This has made him a valuable asset for The Blues and manager Thomas Tuchel.

Real Madrid midfielder, Toni Kroos isn't taking things too kindly with Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.

Despite losing in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, the German still found time to take jabs.

Los Blancos were outplayed by the Blues on Wednesday which seems to have created a rocky foundation in the Madrid camp.

Prior to the game, Kroos had stated that in his 15-year career, no Chelsea individual player had caused him to lose sleep.

Well, boys will be boys, Mason Mount had a reply that was somehow fascinating. The youngster told BT Sport;

"I saw one of their players say that none of our players stop him from sleeping, maybe he should lose a bit of sleep for our team, we could have scored more than five goals."

The German midfielder found a final response that we can consider as a low blow to the Englishman.

Kroos replied saying;

"Still sleeping ok. But well done yesterday. congrats. Good luck in your first Champions League Final."

Despite suffering a disappointing loss, Real Madrid is still far ahead of Chelsea as far as Champions League is concerned.

Spanish giants Real Madrid look to be having certain troubles delivering on the pitch which may affect their Europe's best status.

The Los Blancos well bettered by English side Chelsea FC in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, losing on a 3 - 1 aggregate.

Goals from Timo Werner and Mason Mount were able to seal the deal for the London club at Stamford Bridge.

It was clear that Thomas Tuchel's side had the upper hand as they outplayed the Merengues beautifully.

Following their loss, MARCA put out a report they titled; "Robbery of the century: Chelsea use Hazard funds to build a Champions League powerhouse."

It is clear that the team is not what it used to be since Cristiano Ronaldo left and the profit has not been made productive.

After the game, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane spoke admitting defeat, saying The Blues were the better side.

"They were superior, they deserved to win. They were more effective over the course of the match and they had a lot of chances too.

"Over the course of the two matches, they deserve the qualification. These are matches of a very high level and we missed something tonight.

"It is not about organization even though, in the duels, it was difficult." as stated by GOAL.

Real Madrid was a force to be reckoned with as far as the UEFA Champions League is concerned having won 13 trophies.

Winning 3 seasons in a row seemed to be the time they put their foot down on the competition.

If they fail to get themselves together these coming seasons, they may not be considered one of the continent's best.

Juventus as a club has been having its ups and downs recently which seems to power Cristiano Ronaldo's search for a new team.

The Italian club's issues have led to many disagreements between both players and management which is affecting performances.

The Portuguese have so far been seeking a way out of the Juventus door for a while and offers have not really been coming in.

Ronaldo had looked to his previous club Real Madrid for a spot to offer his services but Los Blancos deemed the transfer impossible.

French side Paris Saint-Germain is a possible destination for the 35-year-old which would see him perform in the big leagues.

The 35-year-old's former team Manchester United also seems a possible destination seeing that he is still loved by the board.

Despite the love and affection shown by some of these clubs towards the striker, no offers have been made.

Now it seems Ronaldo will have to try and help Juventus quality for the Champions League next season and possibly win the Serie A.

The European Football governing body UEFA has taken its decision regarding Real Madrid and Juventus.

These two European giants were part of the leading force regarding the European Super League.

Fans all over had taken to the entrance of their stadiums to protest against the competition.

Due to the criticism and much chastisement, 8 of the 12 pulled out of the competition just after 48 hours of its announcement.

UEFA president, Aleksander Ceferin has threatened to ban European clubs who remain in the Super League.

The League which was announced on Sunday was met with a bad welcome that saw many of the clubs withdraw.

But four clubs out of the original 12 remain in the proposed league and could face UEFA sanction.

The clubs that remain are Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Juventus, and AC Milan, they could be banned from the Champions League.

According to the UEFA president, these clubs will have to choose where their loyalties lay either a European club or Super League.

 In his statement, Ceferin said;

"It's crystal clear that the clubs will have to decide if they are Super League or they are a European club.

"If they say we are a Super League, then they don't play Champions League, of course... and if they are ready to do that, they can play in their own competition.

"For me, it's a very different situation between the clubs that admitted their mistakes and said we will leave the project.

"The others mainly know I would say that this project is dead, but they don't want to believe it probably."

Real Madrid may be kicked out of the Champions League semi-finals this season if they continue.

American rapper Meek Mill released his first single after been released from jail in 2018 which he titled "Stay Woke."

The song was featured on his Legends Of The Summer EP, featuring Californian singer, Miguel.

It had a touching effect especially after been performed live at the 2018 BET Awards show.

Every part of the song spoke against racial inequality, injustice, his fight for freedom, and trigger-hungry police officers.

"We go get lawyers to say shit we don't know how to talk.

"They told us to hate each other before we can learn how to talk.

"Mama taught you how to fight, fight before she taught you how to write, right."

A lot of things they grew up to meet, struggles things they never planned for but in the end, it is what it is.

Getting someone to speak for you just because you have been given another ideology as to how the world operates.

"In a world where black is wrong and white right, it's like a combat.

"We go to war for our freedom, they say we equal"

Meek explains how the world treats people of color especially blacks. The world is not equal.

If I have to fight to get what I want because of the color of my skin then we are not the same.

If I'm in a situation where I'm in the wrong just because of the color of my skin then equality is bogus.

"How can I pledge allegiance to the flag?

"When they killin' all our sons and our dads."

During his BET performance, they staged a scene where a child was hit by a police officer's bullet and an American flag placed over him.

When the ones who are supposed to protect you are the ones who start to hunt you, the world isn't safe anymore.

You can't pledge your loyalty to people who do not consider you important but another target on their hit list.

"I come from a place when you kill your own brother you can brag.

"Like he got bodies, but that's a fad, no, that's a fact.

"You screaming out at your corner, nigga, that's a trap.

"Screaming out at your homie, nigga, that's a rat."

What's worse than living with people you call your brothers and still, you can't be safe around them.

The fear of being snitched on or even killed now becomes a scare and killing your own brother feels like an achievement.

"Stay Woke" was made to open the eyes of many to see that the world isn't right anymore, we're all tripping.

You have to open your eyes and see the light.

"Though it's designed for us to fail, yeah.

"We still prevail through the hell, yeah.

"Can you believe it, we're still undefeated.

"Though it's designed for us to lose.

"We still make it through, nothing's impossible.

"Believe it, we're still undefeated."

You're welcome!
