DailyNews:True, but worse if it's the guy from a "not-so-buoyant" background. I mean, when a guy appears to be obsessed with your dad and being in his good books while he remains an insecure-saddist-turned-opportunist with you, there's hardly anything that pleases them. I'm writing from first hand experience. I either laugh at or pray for those who ignore socio-financial factors in relationships. Been there, done that! |
ShoryuKen:Haven't been on this site in forever....Had to log in to LOVE this. Nicely written. |
hatux: Beautiful! She and Not even in a million years. |

How to wear style white shoes. Business casual. |
Pathethic generalization! Just as much Nigerian ladies go home to marry. Singling out Nigerian men is wrong. It has very little or nothing to do with character. The issue with some Nigerian ladies is that we want a man that has achieved higher than us. If your husband brought you out of Nigeria, its either because (a) he's been rejected by most Nigerian ladies or (b) he lives in a city with few of us (c) you agreed to nursing school for reasons we all know. Nigerian ladies are funny! Why do Nigerian ladies reject the suitors back home for men abroad? Why do most actresses marry guys abroad? Is there anything wrong with marrying men in Nigeria with decent pay, 9-5 bank workers, engineers, architects? |
WebSurfer: Did I Get It Right?Yes you did. Seems like you were going for a business casual look. Me Likey! |
|
Geolalisa: @LipsyliciousYes, yes! St. Ives Apricot Scrub (blemish remover) is the best thing you could apply on your face. If worked for me. Just be patient with it. |
uj_sizzle: That's funny. Grade A used bras are actually more expensive than their china made naija market filled counterparts. No Ma'am. What's funny is that you know all the grades of used bras. I don't know about bra quality in Nigeria. VS, Agent Provocateur have nice bras and I've seen nicer unbranded bras too. Yes, made in China. FYI, most of these 'quality' bras are made in China too. |
If you can't afford new ones, maybe yes, but quality wise, I don't think all used bra offer better quality. It's advised to change your bras every 3-6 months so it makes no sense to me. Most ladies buy used bras for brand names like Victoria Secret, CK, etc. Popular brand doesn't equal quality. |
Kedro: Something like this! That's right! |
D'ciano:Sew-in weaves are good for stretching. Before the weave is installed, make sure you do a protein treatment and deep condition. Depending on how far apart your hair are sewn in, you might be able to reach your scalp. My secret - I use a clean cotton white napkin. Dip it in 30% conditioner + 70% water and scrub my scalp with it. Wash the napkin in clean water. Then use on my scalp till its completely clean. Let it air dry, then apply oils lightly to my scalp. I do this only on Saturdays. |
maureenkell: Pls i need help my laps is full of green atrress, stretch mark pls wat will i do to clear it especially strecth markUse more oils and massage into your skin (I don't mean overrated Bio-oil). Coconut Oil worked for my sis post-pregnancy. |
uzoo: i've had a pair of white shoes sitting in my shoe closet collecting dusts... everyday i tell myself i have to find a way to style it on me without looking like those black singers from francophone countries (no offence Mr Awilo).LMAO!! Francophone singers with their blonde wigs too. I can't shout! |
Who rocked it better edition: Stella

Who rocked in better edition: Random fashion blogger (minus the ugly fur jacket). Burgundy is the new black.

Aveeno (affordable) or Sheido Pureness moisturizer. My skin tone is medium to dark like Mel B. I'm a product junkie so I've used almost every product out there. Palmers cocoa butter was my first cream, but its too oily. To maintain dark skin, learn to read product labels. Use any good moisturizer with the following base ingredients (Water, Shea butter, glycerin , ...dimethicone,). They're great for your skin. |
Two hours is too small when I'm getting dressed for Church. I spend 1hr 15mins on weekdays getting dressed for work. ![]() God help us. |
