I told my wife this recently; if I ever get into the nation's political lanscape,please remind me never to cross femi fani kayode's path cos his tongue is too sharp and I might just throw away every decorum and beat him up

There were times when publicity was in the hands of the electronic media(Tv,Radio,Video etc). But the advent of the internet and social media has placed the media in our own hands.
In recent times,our landscape has been over-run by women(and even men) who seek at the slightest opportunity to expose their bodies.

Today,anybody who isn't leaking nude photos or videos,who isn't revealing sacred body parts is seen as 'backward'. Wearing outfits that leave very little to the imagination or even complete nudity is now seen as part of our civilization.

But what most don't know is that nudity isn't part of civilization but demonization. Its a sign that the person is possessed with demons and unclean spirits. Why do you think that once a sane person goes mad or possessed with an unclean spirit,the first act will be to start removing every form of covering or clothing? Why do you think even when you dress up a mad person,he will still remove it,opting insted for unclothedness?
There are spirits behind that.

Looking at Luke8:35,once the demon possessed man was delivered of the legions of demons at Gerasenes,the bible recorded that when his people came,they saw him 'in his right mind' and 'dressed'.

Let's not be swayed by the evils and spirits of this world to believe that nudity is civilization,instead its a show of the degree of this spirit in the world of today. When next you see anyone flaunting their nudity or sacred body parts,rather than celebrate such,see her(or him) as one that is saddled with those evil spirits.

According to authentic sources, the Prophet Muhammad married Aisha (RA), when she was 6 years old, and the marriage was consummated after she was 9. However, it is important to understand things in their historical context. For instance, it would be silly to ask, what kind of milk did they drink 1400 years ago. Or what kind of engine did they have back then.

Therefore, one must understand that things 1400 years ago were very different from now, times have changed and so humans. 1400 years ago, it was very common for women to marry at a young age. It is a historical fact that girls from the ages of 9 to 14 were married off in Europe, Asia, Africa and America.
For example:
Saint Augustine in 350AD married a 10 year old girl
King Richard II in 1400AD married a 7 year old
Henry VIII in 15000AD married a 6 year old girl

Even in the Bible, "but save for yourselves every GIRL who has never slept with a man" Numbers 31:17-18

According to Catholic Encyclopedia, "Mary the mother of Jesus was 12 when she married 99 year old Joseph"
Before 1929, Church of England minister could marry 12 year olds in Britain.
Before 1983, Catholic canon laws permitted priests to marry off brides at the age of 12.

A lot of people are unaware that in the Delaware (United States) in 1880, the minimum age for marriage was 7 years old and in California was 10 years.
Even now, the marriage age for some states are
12 for Massachusetts
13 for New Hampshire
14 in New York

At the time of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), those who refused his message tried every method and strategy to discredit him. So was Aisha a child? No she was not!
So what about the wisdom behind this marriage?

But the marriage of Aisha (RA) was an instruction from God (Bukhari Volume 5: Book 58: Hadith 235)
Aisha (RA) narrated to us more than 2200 hadiths (sayings) of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Aisha (RA) was exceptionally intelligent, and since she married the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) at a young age, she was able to learn so much from him. She later played an important role as a teacher, expert and interpreter of Islam
So there was so much wisdom behind this marriage!
For those who do not know the Prophet Muhammad (PHUB), He did not come to seek worldly pleasure, but he warned us against them!
His companion described him as a man of morality and they said he was shyer than a virgin in seclusion.
When believers asked him an awkward question, he would cover his face out of shyness.
He taught us that each religion is know for a kind of morality and the morality of Islam is Shyness/Modesty.

Mary,the mother of Jesus was not 12 when she got married.
First,when she perceived that she has become pregnant,she went to visit her cousin,elizabeth,not aunt,not mother,cousin. Now,being cousins means that though there can be some age gap between them,but they are contemporaries and friends(luke1:39-40). And Elizabeth herself has well aged and has even long entered menopause. Hence,mary couldn't be a teenager,not to talk of 12.
Secondly,it was also written that on getting pregnant,she relocated from her house to Elizabeth's where she stayed with her for 3months before going back to her own house(see luke1:56). I don't think a 12year old or even a teenager will be having her own house at that time and even now.
Thirdly,her ability to independently move from her city to another for 3months clearly shows that we are dealing with a mature woman,not a teen or even less.
Fourthly,she was addressed throughout by both the angel and her cousin as a woman(see luke1:28,42)
Fifthly,read her songs of exaltation from Luke1:46-55. It clearly shows the intelliegence of a full grown woman who is knowledgable in her ancestral history as she is of spiritual things.
As for Joseph,though no mention was ever made anywhere in the bible of his age,the bible describes him as a just man which modern scholars will refer to as a perfect gentleman.
Also,12years after Jesus was born,his parents were still going to Jerusalem for their annual thanksgiving and this was a journey of days by road. That would have put Joseph's age at 111 if he married her at 99. Had it been so,the bible would have mentioned it as chronological order was very important then.
Please,while we do not care about the lifestyle of your prophet,I plead that you do not spread falsehood of christianity in trying to justify this pitiable act of his.

I have cause to believe some threads bashing Nigerian girls here on NL are not just mere troll posts, some must have been informed by personal experiences. Most Nigerian girls are too shallow mentally, overtly materialistic and will likely struggle to hold a decent intellectual convo for at least five mins.

After many failed attempts @ having a decent date (mind u not just any date cos I run from those almost daily), I decided to give this lady I met in my office a shot. She was a customer and I helped her through a transaction that had her stranded and we exchanged numbers (that was last week). I asked her for a date today's evening and she agreed.


Her initial fuccckkkk up was insisting I wait @ the gate of shop rite, the meet up place, to pay her fare. LOL, chai. I did o.

We got in. What will u take? Said she's filled up as she has had eba and rice today. I was famished as I skipped lunch in the afternoon so I ordered rice, chicken n coke. She then ordered same with moi moi and Amstel.


I was trying to start up some convo with a few harmless questions and she couldn't keep up. All through the meal, she was all about seeing my phone ( wanted to go through my chats, gallery and sorts but I declined, not cos I have something to hide but because that's stupid and absolutely unnecessary), giving me her phone to snap multiple shots of her.



When we were done and I was already bored as fccccckkk and itching for just any reason to call it a night, she dropped the bomb.... She wants to go to Games and pick up "her toiletries" and I will pay. I just sat there moping @ her and I thought "just another pretty dumbo".

Hundreds of widows in Imo State have placed curses on the state Gover­nor, Rochas Okorocha, and his supporters for allegedly peddling falsehood that the widows placed a mock coffin at the gate of Government House, during their protest two weeks ago.

Speaking after their praying and fasting session yesterday in Owerri, the state capital, the chairperson of Imo Wid­ows Association, Mrs. Ijeoma Nwabueze, expressed shock that rather than condemned the beating of the widows, Governor Okorocha and Eze Ohiri-led council of Ndi Eze, resorted to blackmail and false­hood to disparage the innocent widows and cover the atroc­ity the youths had committed against their mothers.

Nwabueze declared: “We pray that if the allegation of parading a mock coffin is true, then whatever Ndi Eze Imo wish of them, let it come to pass. But if not, may coffin never depart from their fami­lies and the Almighty God, who is the husband of the wid­ows, should visit their wives.”

Others, who spoke at the session include, Mrs Anthonia, who is a representative of Orlu zone, Martina Ejimmadu from Okigwe zone and Mrs Ijeoma Nwabueze from Owerri.

The association of widows also placed curses on tradi­tional rulers, who attended the cleansing ceremony and the hoodlums, who were allegedly mobilised by the state govern­ment to flog and inflict injuries on them.

“Those who knew that the governor and the traditional rulers’ accusation is false and are promoting it, there is a curse attached to such atrocity and also, whoever may have participated or engineered the attack on the harmless wid­ows, who merely engaged in a peaceful protest, cannot go unpunished,” the widows de­clared.

They stated that the wrath of God of widows would also visit two commissioners in the state and a top female official of the state Universal Educa­tion Board (SUBEB) for alleg­edly supervising the beating of the widows and alleging later that the widows were found with a mock coffin.

The widows prayed for quick recovery of those who sustained injuries during the protest, including Mrs. Mary Mgbehuge from Umunna Autonomous Community in Onuimo Local Government Area of the state, who had a broken leg.

Rochas politicises everything. There is nothing he states or does that is straightforward. And the saddest part is that at the slightest thing,he will label you as part of his political opponents.

More often than not we are beseiged of news of boko haram members being killed in their hundreds. Sometimes they loose over 300members in one fell swoop. Prompting most people to ask the basic question on everyone's lips: 'This people,dem no dey finish?'
Sometimes we hear stories of people who claim that they were forcefully conscripted into fighting against their will.
This got me thinking,how is it that majority of their fighters were forced into it.
I now had to think as an igbo man. Igbos are naturally independent in nature, they are republican in orientation. They can't be easily cowed into a struggle that is not for their advancement.
The question we have been asking is this: If over 70% of the foot soliders of boko haram were captives armed and forced to fight. Why don't they just collect all the arms needed,using their numerical strength,turn around and wipe out that 30% and walk away to freedom?

Islam is not really a religion of peace. There is actually a veilled spirit behind it. Why is it that those who embrace it fully develop this murderous tendency?
I tell people that daily we see people abuse christianity,abuse the pastors and men of God and some even go as far as abusing Christ himself. But you don't see christians take up arms nor develop the urge to deal with the person. Why? Because we know we serve a God that can punish whosoever at His own time and way.
