Am not a fan of FFK, but I must agree that he's making a whole lot of sense. A 1million man march for the presidential candidate without the presidential candidate? Isn't it too early for this hide and seek with Buhari? Umoru Yar'Adua atleast spent some time in office before Nigerians started noticing his conspicous absence. Its rather too early in the day for GMB. |
Kog45:Bros,contrary to view, the JK/Ambode contest isn't an igbo/yoruba contest, rather its can be summed up as thus: Ambode: Yoruba JK: Yoruba/Igbo/Hausa Jimi agbaje isn't about igbos. No. The man has only gone further to add other tribes to his teaming yoruba supporters. Most Lagos big wigs outside tinubu's camp are behind him. And he is also loved by the common folks on the street. |
Adegbodolu1:Are you a lagosian? Yes or No. Stop beating about the bush. Let me give you a friendly advice. Go back to your village and state and help bring development to it. Stop claiming an 'administrative outpost'. |
Adegbodolu1:Bros,can you swear under an oath that you are a lagosian whose ancestral lineage is in lagos state. That you turned your back completely on your red hut village somewhere in the south west and rented an apartment in lagos doesn't make you a lagosian. |
I want to hear from a true lagosian, not any yoruba man that has rented an apartment in lagos and denied his original village somewhere in a village in the south west |
Please will the real 'lagosian' please stand up? I mean those that are historically from lagos state whose ancestors can be traced to lagos. That you turned your back and completely abandoned your village in any yoruba state and rented a flat in surulere or ebutte metta where you have lived for over 10 years doesn't make you a lagosian. If it does, then igbos who have lived in the same street with you and still remember to build in their towns and villages are thus lagosians too. |
poundlander:Can you under an oath swear that you are from lagos state? The sad thing about most non-lagosian yorubas is that while igbos send something home to develop their villages and homelands, the rest of the non-lagosian yorubas completely forget their original home towns and claim lagosians which they aren't. Do you have a bucket traceable to you as your property in your original village? Say the truth? |
queensmith:Don't let those things you hear on the media about the east deceive you. Its all meant to attract more developmental projects and government attention to the east. The truth is that you will be shocked at the level of real estate project that goes on a daily basis in these so-called villages of the east. Go to any major building material dealer in lagos(coker, orile, agege, aluminium village) and he will confirm that you that most of them have branches in onitsha, owerri, enugu, aba etc to meet the demands. For every igbo man you see living in a public yard in lagos,he has built a bungalow in his village, for every one 'managing' in a flat in lagos,he has built a duplex at the village,if you have seen any that has developed his own property in Lagos,he has not just built at home,he must have done other community projects like water, road, new transformer provision etc. That's why many people from other tribes get shocked when they follow their supposedly ordinary igbo neighbours, church members or colleagues down to the east for one function or the other. Have you ever asked yourself why the igbos will go down to their villages and spend weeks at the slightest holiday,if things are really as bad as its projected? Na hype for more projects, you have to see these villages yourself. |
eaglechild:You are very on point. Most yorubas will be quick to compare lagos with most south east states. They forget that Lagos before independence was purely a british colony(the rest were protectorates). Hence the british developed it suitable for their comfort, after independence it became the FCT. But if any want to be fair in comparison, let him place enugu against ibadan,or abakiliki against ado-ekiti or owerri against akure, or the buildings guys are building in their south east villages against the red mud houses they have all abandoned in their south west villages to claim lagosians. |
asadike:Nne,inyekwam the isi ewu,agam eri. |
ChEkWaSIyKe:My candid advice. I nearly had a similar case but when the ex tried to make a comeback with similar talks,I sternly warned her that I'll expose her acts if she doesn't leave me alone. The fear of exposing her intentions made her disappear fast. Just tell her off cos you wouldn't want another man to sleep with your own wife after you have paid bride price. |
Chairman looks fit ooo! |
All these big men in nigeria. It seems like after they have fed fat with the resources of this nation the devil will quietly give them children who will constantly bring them shame and heartbreak. How could the son of a well studied man like Mohammed Uwais be a drop out? |
Odika isi emebiela dis man. |
OAUTemitayo:Exactly! TA Orji is not finding it easy even in his state where he is governor. He hasn't stolen one-tenth of Tinubu yet abia people haul objects at his convoy. There are some towns that have declared him a persona non grata! That is the east for you. His candidate nearly lost the primaries if he hadn't rushed to abuja to change the delegate list(even though he prepared the initial list but the delegates were warned by their families not to mortgage their future for his money). You need to come see how people are more forceful in politics. As big as rochas is,he's not sure of winning a second tenure cos the people are angry with him. In ebonyi, the governor's candidates failed woefully. That's the east for you. Nobody can hold them down for too long, they will rise up against such leader. Its only in yoruba land will one person perpetually control the people's resources and people will follow him. If it were in the east, ambode will deny tinubu publicly to stand a chance of getting some votes just like Ikpeazu(abia pdp candidate) is denying TA Orji(his installer) to win some votes. Yorubas whould stop this nonsense of sheepishly following like they have no sense |
There is something I don't understand about the yoruba tribe. Its only in yoruba land that a man like tinubu will be robbing them all blind and they still sheepishly prostrate to him and follow him and his candidate blindly. Am saying this cos if it were in the east,a new set of 'big men' would have arisen and said enough is enough. Igbos believe no man was born to perpetually lord over them. Its shameful that tinubu has embezzled the resources of Lagos to himself and yet its the igbos that want a stop and change to this godfatherism, left for the average yoruba, they and their children will still continue to 'durbarle' to the man and his family forever |
Is this really a true life story cos I find it hard to believe |
Bros,if I were you I'll pay closer attention to my wife. You haven't seem to have noticed that the thing is getting to your wife. Her imagination is growing towards the man while her perception for you is dwindling. Take note |
You dropped your pin and your pic? I can bet that this is a fabricated story aimed at presenting yourself as vulnerable to get various unsuspecting young men to rush in. I advise you to desist from this. |
Etim Esin |
ffo:Qsat? Wow! How does one get one in Lagos? And where? |
A lot of diabolic conspiracy is embedded in this case that is yet to be unravelled. I suspect either a strong case of witchcraft or occultic cover up |
Equado:I watch ctl whenever am in enugu, but I reside more in Lagos and I don't think they are here,or are they? |
ffo:Do you get to watch the premiership, champions league and the rest live on it? |
Please can anyone tell me an alternative to DSTV(legal or illegal)? Atleast where I can be watching the football matches live. Am tired of this monopolistic rip-off |
You need to get close to state to understand that Rochas is a fraud and very opposite to what he projects to the naïve world outside. Those in the know don't take his word for anything. If Rochas tells you 'good morning',please go outside and verify for yourself before replying. Its sad that these contractors made the grave mistake of taking his word for it. He gave them contracts and told them to start work, while he processes their contract papers and mobilization fees,in a zeal to win the heart of the administration, they started the contracts, believing they were dealing with an honourable man! Sadly, many of them took loans from banks to commence work with the hope that reimbursements will come. Now,Rochas have denied them all and to add salt to injury,he lists some of their executed contracts as part of the projects executed achieved by his administration. |
Let me tell you this... 1,The moment you get to have sex with her, that friendship is destroyed forever. It will never be same again with her. 2,Its not every advance from a lady that you must weakly fall for. Had it been she was the one in a troubled relationship that had issues, would she give in to your advances? I guess no. 3,She's going thru a lonely phase and if you manage to avoid this, when she gets into a happy relationship, she'll appreciate you for being a gentleman. |
chiggiee:My Dear,I guess by now your inbox must have been flooded with proposals from different ends of the earth.Goodluck ...And congrats on getting such responses without even hitting front page. |
I don't know who she is or what she's popular for but all I see is a person who is fake all thru, from her hair to eyebrows to lashes to nails etc. As for the president,he knows what a lady dressed as such represents and he knows the media will be paying close watch on his reaction,he's doing everything to avoid wrong headlines while managing a smile. |
All will agree with me that we have experienced a lot of political drama and re-engineering in recent times. And it has been most interesting. There was a time the APC were sharp with their tongue while the President in his ever quiet manner treated them with decorum and civility. Everybody will remember how APC will attack the presidency and PDP on every turning that we the masses at a time felt the APC didn't have their own blueprint or roadmap other than to verbally attack GEJ. You'll be certain to see the APC rightly or wrongly dismember every word, action and life of the president. Fastforward time and along came two virile henchmen on board the PDP platform in the persons of Femi Fani Kayode and Gov Ayodele Fayose. These two decided to match the attacks of the APC with fire for fire. And all of a sudden the party that was known for unquenchable attacks now seems to be beating a retreat. And these two henchmen rather than soft-pedal are still firing on all cylinders! And now the APC are the ones calling for 'issue based criticisms' only. All of a sudden,Lai Mohammed doesn't want to 'join issues with' any of them again. Am not a member of any political party, but I raise my cup to this two 'man fridays' of the PDP! And from the look of things, they don't seem to have any plans of slowing down yet. Like them or hate them, but you can't deny the fact that this two have become a nightmare to the APC. They have turned the hunter to the hunted.
