...i nearly believed this. |
For all those who think voting billions to buhari will be the catalyst for revamping the economy. A dullard is a dullard,it doesnt matter the amount of money voted for his expenditure. And can someone please tell me where all this money voted for capital expenditure went to. This govt is more corrupt than past govts, just that a fewer people within a close knit cabal are now sharing more loots |
Somebody somewhere is going about his normal activity in port hacourt not knowing that some armed robbers who were hell bent on striking him dead ran into the police and were killed. Whoever the 'would have been victim', he wont know what God has just saved him from. |
8years! If he had proposed to her the day he set eyes on her, they would have had a child that is preparing for common entrance by now |
On November 29th 2016,this Buhari led administration marked one and half years in office. This means that effective from today,30th November, this administration is in its second half of its second year in office,it thus became necessary that one takes a look at the promises buhari and APC made to Nigerians and how far they have actualized such promises. Its necessary that we look at these promises by Buhari viz-a-viz the status quo before May 29 2015 when power was handed over to him by President Goodluck Jonathan. 1, No foreign healthcare for government officials. Many people rejoiced at this promise because before now it was seen as a waste of tax payers money. But the same man who made that promise during campaign was the first to fly out of nigeria for europe to treat an ear infection. Since then,no government official takes serious anymore as that promise has been thrown into the trash can. 2, Stabilize the Naira at Usd = N1. As at the day Buhari took power on May 29,2015, the Us dollar stood at N199.01 at the fx market and around N210 at the parallel market. Today, the naira has been falling at an unprecedented fall in the history of the naira reaching an all time high of N460 to a dollar presently. 3, Educating the girl child. During the campaign,President Buhari promised that if voted, his government will ensure the compulsory education of the girl child. One and half years in power, instead of seeing that promise come to fruition,we are witnessing an alarming and disturbing rate of abduction and forceful marriage of the girl child. This trend of kidnapping young girls who ought to be in school and forcefully converting them into brides has become most pronounced in this government with the law enforcement agencies joining the president to turn a blind eye. 4, One of the promises of this government was the simplification of the immigration process. Rather than Nigerians seeing this promise fulfilled by the Buhari led administration, what we are now seeing today is the announcement by the Federal government to increase the cost of the international passport as well as the introduction of tax on it. 5, Provide one free meal(to include fruits) daily for public primary school pupils nationwide. Till date,we are yet to see that promise take off. Though one wonders how they intend to achieve this across the nation. 6, Create 720,000 jobs in the 36 states of the federation yearly. This is the second half of this government's second year in office, instead of seeing jobs created,3million workers joined the unemployed by losing their own jobs within the first year of this administration. The figure has since worsened. 7, Pay allowances to the unemployed. This promise was never meant to be fulfilled and any chances of it being realized was totally destroyed by the over 4million that has joined this group in the last one and half years. 8, Pay N5000 monthly to the 25 million poorest Nigerians. As absurd as this is,many people actually believed it and voted Buhari on this premise. They didnt get to ask how this government will determine the poorest nigerians and their locations. They didnt bother to reason that this would mean expending N125billion every month on this. 9, Reduce fuel prices to N45/litre in his first year. As at May 29,2015,the day Buhari assumed office as President of Nigeria, fuel was selling for N86/litre. Instead of fulfilling his promise of bringing it down as promised,he has increased it to N145 per litre! 10, One new refinery every year for four years. Instead of fulfilling this promise,on assumption of office, this administration sought to sell the existing four refineries the nation has. It took the massive outcry from the people before they rescinded their decision to sell these assets. Till date,no single site has been cleared anywhere for the construction of a new refinery. 11, Create atleast 5million new home owners in 4years. PMB promised he will build low income houses. According to him during campaign,he will build two million low cost houses in his first year and one million low cost houses everyother year. He has doneone and half years in power, meaning that we ought to have seen 2.5million houses so far. Instead what we have are destruction of properties and homes in APC states like Imo,Kaduna and Lagos. 12, Stop the Importation of petroleum products within the first year of office. Today, the subsidy payment to oil marketers is in an all time high as products are still being imported and subsidy claims paid to the importers by this government. 13, Crush Boko Haram within the first 3months in office. One and half years later, boko haram's menace and carnage is still raging in major parts of north east(though being played down by mainstream media).

Brethren, Let us pray. Repeat after me. Anybody! Who worked and voted to bring in this govt! What are you waiting for?! Oya, somersault and die! Die! Die! Die! |
Why is it that every statement that comes from this useless govt is always 'set to do', 'to make', 'plans to'. They are still planning to do but never does. You would think that a man who contested an election four consecutive times will know what he was 'set to do' before winning it,not two years into his administration. Buhari should do 120 miliion nigerians a favour and just die |
DarkTroll:I didnt vote for him. I knew it would be like this but people were blinded by ethnic and religious sentiments. The man should just do 130 million nigerians a favour and die |
It is in the interest of Nigeria that Buhari kicks the bucket soonest |
It is in the interest of Nigeria that Buhari dies. No one man is bigger than the nation |
Please at what point will this insensitive govt push nigerians into suffering reach before they will arise and protest |
How will his kids tell their friends that their dad died? |
This administration is just wicked and heartless. All they seek is how to generate revenue from the impoverished masses. Money which they in govt circles will still embezzle |
All this govt is looking for is how to take more money from the already impoverished masses. Money which they and their cronnies in govt will later misappropriate thru various corrupt means |
Whats the news about this. Oshiomole had a foreigner as Edo state first lady. Obong Victor Attah had a white woman as Akwa ibom's first lady. Lets stop this nonsense |
This is why parents should do their best to train their children, especially their daughters. How old can this girl possibly be? Sad |
Danmaiduguri:Christians too fell on their face to pray. I too fell on my face to pray. Does that make me a muslim? |
When he went and ushered in daughters of asmodee into his life in the name of marriage |
How is this news? Lets stop all this rubbish. Edo state first lady wasnt even a nigeria. The wife of Obong Victor Attah, the ex governor of Akwa Ibom was a foreign white lady. |
Following the outcome of the Ondo State Governorship election which saw the APC candidate,Chief Akeredolu emerge the winner, one cant help but wonder how TB Joshua told Jimoh Ibrahim that he would be the winner of that election? Bearing in mind his recent prediction of the US presidential election and the final outcome,my question is this- If you were contesting for an elective post and you have done your campaign, excelled in all your debates, crossed your T's and dotted your I's and you were sure of emerging victorious over all other opponents at the polls, all of a sudden, information filters in that TB Joshua has predicted that you will be the winner. What will you do? |
Islam is a confused religion. They dont know which side they want to belong. Very soon,it would be hard to differentiate between a muslim wedding and a church wedding. As for the pix, they should have atleast smiled a bit. Its a wedding, not a funeral service. |
What most nigerians dont know is that igbos voted GEJ over Buhari because they know buhari's antecedents as a failure whose policies only lead to recession and increased sufferings of the people. Today, the nation has now seen what igbos saw from faraway sitting down. Granted,GEJ was not the best. He did not do so well as expected. He did not even do anything exceptional in the south east to warrant their support but we knew that GEJ's worst is better than Buhari's best. |
There is something i dont understand about our elections in the last 1 year or so. Shortly before an election, the Nigerian police will tell us how they have deployed one billion police officers headed by AIGs and CPs. The Nigerian Civil defense will follow up on how they too are ready with one hundred million officers all combat ready in that election state. Yet, all the places political thugs planned to snatch boxes, they will go in and snatch them from the hapless inec staff and in some cases, destroy the election materials. You can never hear that the security forces repelled or caught or beat up any thug. This makes one wonder where these billions of officers are deployed to |
The guy was arrested because he's not an apc agent |
Thats the Trump Towers,Onitsha right there |
These mainstream media knows how to structure a news headline to influence the public's mindset for or against a person. Its obvious that this newspiece was structured to generate hate for Trump. Instead of writing that Trump has left to attend Castro's Burial ceremony, they instead write that he rushes for 'Castro's Dead Party'. ......isnt that a scene from Home Alone movie? |
omenka:Why is it that the only post you ever make is nothing but derogatory posts against non other than igbos? Going by your tribal bigotry, you must be from strong shackles of poverty cos thats where such tribal hatred thrives? If you are a bit objective(which you dont have) you will know that this loan will be repaid generations later and there wont be discrimination when collecting taxes and levies for its repayment so there shouldnt be discrimination in its usage. And if you were a bit sensible(which you sold for hate),you would realize that this loan will be politically mismanaged and most of them wont be around for its repayment, thereby leaving your generation with debt deficit to repay. I wouldnt expect you to know any better because you have deprived of the gift of rational thought process. **** |
The younger generation should stand up and reject this bill. They have listed what the loans will be used(though we know they lack integrity to fulfill that) but they havent told us how they plan to repay it. They just want to collect the billions and settle their generations yet unborn while we and our kids continue to pay for it. They are literally mortgaging our future and we are too sentimental to see it. What happened to the trillions they claim they have recovered from TSA? What happened to the trillions they claim they got from diezani? Lets stop being fooled by these wicked occultic old men running this country? |
Luukasz:Since when did voting a candidate become a criteria for receiving your rights. Is buhari doing the development with his personal money or our collective wealth? As he seeks to exempt igbos in all his development plans, does he exclude them too from all taxes and fees. Go to the ports which is about the highest revenue earner for the govt and see that igbos pay about 85percent of the duties. So what is the beauty of democracy if we all must align behind one candidate. There were some archaic rubbish that was unheard of in past govts and modern democracy that has reared its ugly head in buhari's govt but the annoying thing is while the likes of buhari is excused because he's a myopic and outdated illiterate, educated and enlightened people like you will be supporting him and urging him on because of your tribal hatred and bigotry against a people whom God has blessed. |
TonyeBarcanista:Then this has given room for miscarriage of justice. |
Why is that once a perversion is frowned against by nigerians or a law against any form of perversion is made, some people will jump out and start preaching how nigerians should concentrate on other 'pressing issues' and then they gi ahead to list other vices. And i always ask 'so because there are vices in our society,we should allow perversion to stay too?' . Since when did two wrongs become a right. Such proponents usually go ahead to call any morally right person a 'hypocrite'. Infact, nowadays whenever you see someone call another a hypocrite, just know that the accuser is defending a perversion. But in actual sense, they are the real hypocrites. Tell them that you wish for their father to become gay or their mum or sister or unborn daughter to become lesbians and they will attack you but they go ahead to encourage another person's daughter, sister and future mum to become that thing they wouldnt wish for themselves. And this idea of 'thou shall not judge' is one verse they have truly bastardized while advancing perversion. A bad thing is a bad thing anytime anyday,it doesnt matter how many people are supporting it. As for the doctor,he has so enmeshed himself in a perverted environment that his conscience doesnt see it as wrong anymore. |
What happened to the live update? Tonyebarcanista, i will leave thus thread ooo. |
