Am still amazed that there are people who still believe anything said by this apc govt. Wonderful! I like their faith |
agabusta:You seem learned so please answer this simple question. I believe you have a good knowledge of the required guidelines by inec(primaries witnessed by inec, must take place within the state, returned by the party's NEC etc). Please, tell us if Jimoh Ibrahim met any of the stipulated guidelines that warrants he being recognised by inec. What is simple is simple. When people like you start trying to make it complicated,it shows that you have turned a blind eye to the truth |
Unimaginable123:These towns being mentioned here are all in ideato,Rochas own people and yet he has dealt them this blow. And yet unpaid fools like imoriver will come here to say its pdp followers that are tarnishing Rochas name. Very silly kids. But why did you people vote for him the second time |
I think lagos state govt should ban this practice of local govt touts or latsma officials in conpany of thugs forcefully hijacking and towing vehicles whether rightly or wrongly. Thats how this set stopped in front of a woman's car some months back and started attaching their towing truck to it. Ofcourse, the thugs among them could easily intimidate the poor woman. It took the intervention of mamoth sympathizers who besieged them before they could speed off. Even when they were asked what the woman's offence, you could see their leader looking for what he could identify as her offence. The Lagos State Govt should outlaw this practice to avoid robbers stealing people's cars in broad day light |
stolenstone:If he can do this to his own ideato people, then one can imagine what he can do to the rest of the state. Take heart nnaa, afterall, you voted for him. |
I just hope that while on recess inside his chambers, the judge wont receive some phone calls of how 'oga is not happy' and come out to truncate justice with his ruling |
lovere:Very true. Imo's been most unfortunate. I dont want to sound spiritual but i believe the 'messiah' of imo state will come out from that place the people said 'can anything good come out of nazareth?' Thats how God always does his things. Just like i believe that the best president of the nation will come from the east, that place the people had always resisted the emergence of a candidate. I wont bother with the spiritual dimensions here |
Blue3k:This current imo state house of assembly is the most useless and docile in the history of law making. I am personally leading a movement to ensure that none of the 27 of them gets returned in 2019. And the acceptance is growing. We have a house where the people who are supposed to be checking him are given motor parks by the governor like touts to collect fees and get percentages. Does that look like a house of assembly that has focus at all? |
Blue3k:Rochas doesnt work with professionals. He works by emotions. If you go round owerri, abandoned projects dot the entire city. He will wake up today and decide like a mad man to start building street gates in every street and when all the structures around every street entrance had been demolished, that desire will fizzle out and he will abandon it. Tomorrow,he will tell you that he wants to create a second city in imo and he will rush to okigwe and start destroying houses with a promise to give them befitting dual carriage roads, after the destruction of properties,he will now have a rethink and decide to upgrade the state capital into a model city than creating another. The next day,he will decide that the roads done by past govts are not befitting of his orlu senatorial district,he will go and scrape the entire tarred road to its red soil and promise them the best ashphalt road and that will be the end, leaving the people to inhale continuos red dust. Cars are covered in red dust in a few minutes, all thanks to Rochas Akpa amu Okorocha. If you dare advise him, your name will make the list of appointees to be relieved in the next reshuffling. |
Marpol:The enemy is a party that must have access to the federal might like the high court judge(to pronounce illegality)the police(to quickly act pro-actively to enforce an illegality despite all other legal pronouncements),the inec(to corrupt the democratic process) etc. And you and i know the party with that. Stop dancing around the truth and face it |
Marpol:In every association, there are bound to be internal wranglings. Its normal. But when it persist despite every truce and discussions, just know that an external force(usually an enemy or opponent) is involved. |
Marpol:They have but there is a certain 'okon abang' whose job it is to always give life to a dead illegality. And that abang is the 'voice of jacob but hand of esau'. He is the hatchet man doing the apc's bidding. If not,why would this jimoh ibrahim sudden enlisting be hatched in aso rock. If you think its coincidence, then you are a learner |
ayokellany:You see how foolish you have made yourself before the whole world? In a bid to showcase your childish tribal bigotry and hatred, you have exhibitted your immaturity. The youngman is lamenting because Rochas has excavated their poles in a bid to reconstruct almost all the roads in the state capital at once and then abandoned the project, leaving the people to suffer. If you had taken a little time to grasp before revealing your hatred for igbos, you would have saved yourself this foolishness. And even when the op wrote 'he has destroyed all the poles' you still couldnt slow down to verify what that meant before jumping in like a kid raised in hatred and bigotry. Now,get out from here and dont come here again |
Marpol:I expected your counter. You dont get listed in inec list by court rulings. There are laid down procedure and guideline for being recognised by inec as a party's authentic candidate. Now,go back and read the legal dept's rulings slowly. Jegede met all of it and Jimoh met none and yet despite having fulfilled all legally accepted pricedure,he got substituted by an illegality. Also,by law,the primaries took place in ondo, why did amina zakari chose the ruling of the abuja high court to over ride that of ondo where the jurisdiction is. And since zakari wants to 'follow court rulings',there is a subsisting court ruling that had earlier declared the sherriff led faction as illegal and hence any of its activities as null and void ab-initio. Why didnt she and her corrupt inec obey that. Since the corrupt amina zakari and her uncle all of a sudden want to obey court rulings, yesterday, pdp got an injuction restraining her and her corrupted inec from substituting the name of jegede that had been on their list all the while. Why didnt she obey that. I hate when adults will see the truth and place it upside down because of petty sentiments and party leanings. A true man should be able to stand for the truth,no matter the parties involved. Very disappointed |
Unimaginable123:You took the words right outta my mouth. We were shouting against voting that 419 man but they said its Rochas they know. Now they 'know' the true rochas and are shouting. Next time, they wont play a politics of petty sentiments and hatred |
stevnwigw:Did you or did you not vote for him? |
Lalasticlala,i think its necessary that everybody sees how this administration is striffling and killing the democratic institution that brought them to power. I still state that the most myopic statement i heard in 2015 was the one people made when they said 'we will vote out jonathan and pdp,if buhari does mot perform,we will vote him out in 2019. I kept shouting that everybody is not Jonathan who will allow you a free and fair election that can vote him out. At this point,it has become clear that it is only God that can remove buhari and his family by natural causes. |
Investigations by Leadership revealed that Amina Zakari had attended a meeting with the INEC Chairman at the at the presidential villa with president Buhari and clear instructions was given to the Commission to announce the name of Jimoh Ibrahim as the candidate of the PDP. The Independent National Electoral Commission has named businessman Jimoh Ibrahim as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the November 26 governorship election despite a recommendation by its Legal Department who investigation by Leadership newspaper has revealed recommended that Eyitayo Jegede be recognized as the authentic candidate of the party in a Memo signed by the Head of Legal Department which was sent to the INEC Chairman and discussed at an elaborate staff meeting yesterday. Part of the memo from the Legal Department reads thus: The Legal Department recommends that Eyitayo Jegede be recognized as the candidate of the PDP because the Commission monitored the primaries that produced him in line with the Electoral Act. The Makarfi led Caretaker Committee (CTC) complied with the provisions of the Electoral Act by writing to the Commission as stipulated by law and gave the Commission enough Notice as stipulated by Law. This primaries was conducted and monitored in the state capital, Akure by the commission with all the national organs of the party present. The party fulfilled all the conditions stipulated in the Electoral Act for the conduct of the primaries. This is why the Commission must recognize Eyitayo Jegede as the authentic candidate of the PDP. Jimoh Ibrahim’s name was forwarded to the Commission by the factional State Exco of the PDP in Ondo State against the stipulation of the Electoral Act that says the name of a candidate must be forwarded to the Commission by the National Executive Council of the party. That this was not done inline with the Electoral Act and the act also contravenes the position of the Supreme Court in Emeka vs Okadigbo which equivocally states that it is the national executive of a political party that can forward the name of a candidate to the Commission. The decision of his Lordship Justice Okon Abang comes at a time when there are many conflicting judgements on this issue and also violates the Supreme Court position in Emeka vs Okadigbo which states that for a candidate to be recognized as the candidate of a political party, he must have participated in all the processes for nomination and election into the position he seeks to occupy and that Jimoh Ibrahim did not qualify for this as he was neither validly nominated by his political party or is there any evidence before the Commission to show that he participated in any primaries. The Commission also did not monitor any primaries in which Jimoh Ibrahim emerged as a gubernatorial candidate of the PDP. There has been a restraining order from an Akure High Court restraining the Commission from recognizing Jimoh Ibrahim as the candidate of the PDP and it is the most recent order in the face of many conflicting orders. The Commission must do what is ethically and professionally right by not recognizing Jimoh Ibrahim as the PDP candidate since it is clear to the Commission that only the primaries that produced Eyitayo Jegede followed the provisions of the Electoral Law. Despite the recommendation by the Legal Department, Mr. Jimoh Ibrahim’s name was posted on an INEC notice board in Akure as well as on the Commission’s website. Further investigations by this newspaper revealed that Amina Zakari had attended a meeting with the INEC Chairman at the presidential villa with president Buhari and clear instructions was given to the Commission to announce the name of Jimoh Ibrahim as the candidate of the PDP. A source who was at the meeting said the Attorney General of the Federation was also at that meeting and advised that substituting of the name of Jegede with Jimoh Ibrahim was the right thing. Amina Zakari announced at the INEC management meeting where the final decision was taken to announce Mr. Jimoh’s name that the Commission had sought the advice of the Attorney General of the Federation and was advised rightly even when the members of the Legal Department raised several objections to her arguments in support of Jimoh Ibrahim. The INEC source said before the INEC Chairman and Amina Zakari came into the meeting, it appeared their minds were already made up and nobody could do anything otherwise and you dare not oppose Amina Zakari because she is the most powerful person at INEC now. She is the one that nominated most of those appointed by the president, the source further added. This implies that until a superior court gives a contrary judgment, Eyitayo Jegede, the candidate of the Ahmed Makarfi-led faction of the PDP will not be accepted as the party’s candidate. A court order from an the Ondo State High Court on Wednesday restrained INEC from recognizing Mr. Ibrahim as the candidate of the PDP pending the determination of the substantive suit before the court. Mr. Abang had on October 14 declared Mr. Ibrahim the true candidate of the PDP. On Thursday, Mr. Abang rejected a plea by Mr. Jegede seeking to be allowed to appeal the October 14 court judgement. INEC has said it would have no choice but to drop Mr. Ibrahim if another superior order comes in favour of Mr. Jegede. INEC and the PDP have gone on appeal at the Court of Appeal and the matter is to be heard today. http://africanfreepress.com/ondo-how-buhari-and-niece-amina-zakari-ensured-eyitayo-jegedes-name-vanished-from-inecs-final-list-read/#.WBM5RnNwZAg |
omohayek:Let me fault your assertion on many fronts First,am not against them contesting in lagos and filling up the slots meant for lagos indigenes. Second,am not against them going to their home states and filling up the slots there. But what am saying is that,it amounts to greed and selfishness to empty one pot here and then jump to the next house to empty the pots too. Personally,am an advocate of competence over tribe. And am sure you are too. But let a man from delta or akwa ibom contest for governorship of lagos and let him have all the competence and lets see if you will vote for him. Some of you like shifting the goal post where it favours you. If you want us all to enthrone competence over trubalism, thats fine. But not to enthrone tribe when other tribes want in but now stuck to professionalism when true lagosians want you to go to your own state. |
Once again i state that Owoseni is a fine officer. He is a good police man. One of the very few left in the force. |
gigabyte13:What are you talking about? Youngman,i hate when people are talking serious issues, kids will jump in with tribal nonsense. You must be from a poor background cos its from such places that you see tribalism in the fore front. One day,you will grow up or make it to our level where its all about interests and goals achieved and whom you used to achieve it,regardless of the tribe. You may not understand what i wrote, but give it time, with age and success, you will. Stay there in your father's house and be forming tribal warlord while some of us have access to even places you cant dream of,even within yorubaland. |
Did they not vote for change. They are now being paid change as salary! Selah. |
But this his 'old wife' is still finer than the 'new one' he is marrying. Or is he marrying her for the connection. Thats how one ex northern governor went and married abacha's daughter to add to the numerous wives, only for abacha to die shortly afterwards and the marriage became a turmoil till it crashed. But seriously, his wife is fine. |
Tinubu should stop this nonsense he normally does. He will take some one that has lived and served in various political capacities in Lagos to go to his ancestral state and deny the 'sons of the soil' their rightful offices. So the person after blocking the chances of the original lagosians in lagos by being their senator,Rep,commissioner,LGA chairman etc will now now remember that he has an ancestral state and jump back there to also block the people there of their offices. See yayi that has served as a senator in lagos state now remembers that he is from ogun state. Why didnt he remember that when he was pocketing the allowances and entitlements meant for a senator from lagos. Thats how one tinubu boy called faleke who had lived all his life in lagos, became two time LGA chairman of Ikeja, even became chairman of the chairmen of LGAs(what can be more lagosian than that), became a rep member representing ikeja in the house of reps and then decided to displace original kogites as deputy governor. And still had the temerity to go to court to be made a governor of a state he had never identified with all his life over others who had been investing politically and financially in the state. Tinubu should stop this rubbish |
Not explicit enough. Is it auto or manual? Whats the mileage? You dont have pictures of the interior or you don't have access to the interior? |
You all will be shocked to realize that this man doesnt even remember that he was a past president. |
agbangam:Do you have a brain at all? Are you naturally this stupid or is today a special case? If not for social media,i wouldnt have known that humans with low iq like you exist. The constitution states its a criminal offence for someone without an ssce qualification to contest for office of the president and your dumb excuse is that another who ruled with a phd didnt do well. Are you serious? How old are you? |
So this kid has won a young entrepreneur of the year by doing nothing but sitting on his sister's sofa and snapping selfies. Issorai. What business has he created and what impact has he made anywhere with it. Anyway, even a stone as linda ikeji's brother would get an award to get publicity |
So even sahara reporters have been politicised? |
ebonflexy:Say 'amen'. Just say 'amen' to my prayer and let me seal your request. No long stories. |
They are like an hausa man. If you are honest and open to an hausa man,he will be open and honest to you but if you want to play smart,he will show you he's smarter. You get a double dose of what you bring to the table when relating with them. My experience over the years though. |
ebonflexy:It has turned to childish insults and i wont let myself be dragged down to your mud level by you. It is this 'dont judge' or 'cast the first stone' excuse that has led to the level of perversion in our society today. You all frequently make use of the word 'hypocrite' but in actual sense you are the hypocrite. Let me pray for you, May your mother become a lesbian. May your sisters and unborn daughters become lesbians. Say amen. If you find it as an insult and refuse to say amen,it means you are a hypocrite who would encourage another person's daughter and sister and future mum but dont want it for yours. See you lot are actually the hypocrite. Want to defend others perversion while you protect yours |
