This is very good idea. Nigeria Identity Management Commission is another arm of problems in the flesh of Nigerians. It is simply another avenue where billions of Dollars are wasted without anything to account for. In 2016 I went to their office in Oja-Oba near Deji's Palace in AKURE. I collected their form filled it and did other necessary things. At the end of the exercise to obtain ordinary temporary print out has been a big problems on them. I have visited their office more than twenty times without anything to show forth. If it can take them more than six months to provide ordinary printouts, It should be up to ten years to make the permanent card.

I beginning to Wonder the essence of the billions being wasted by the Federal Government.

Sir Victor Uwaifo has been honoured with a Living Human Treasure award by the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The award is given to reward those who possess to a high degree the knowledge and skills required for performing or re-creating specific elements of the intangible cultural heritage. The project initiated by France-based Nigerian curator Bose Fagbemi features a tour exhibition, symposium and music performance in some states in Nigeria, France, Ghana, United Kingdom, United States, the Caribbean and South Africa. It is being organised to celebrate Uwaifo’s achievements and contributions to Nigeria, Africa and the world. The France leg of the tour will hold in October to coincide with the commemoration of the Nigerian Cultural Heritage Week, in collaboration with the Nigeria Embassy in Paris. Uwaifo is considered an inventor of the double neck “magic guitar” with 18 strings. The Nigerian music export is a multiple award- winning musician and multi-instrumentalist, who asides his vocals is armed with skills for playing the saxophone, electric guitar, electric piano, flute, and vocals. He is also a renowned sculptor. Best known for his songs ‘Mami water’ and ‘Joromi’, Uwaifo continues to promote the arts as a lecturer and musician. Uwaifo was awarded Member of the Order of the Niger by the Federal Government of Nigeria. Sir Victor, is the Chairman of Joromi Organization, a multi-track recording and television studio in Benin City. He runs and manages an art gallery and the Victor Uwaifo Hall of Fame.

Madumere, however, urged Nigerians irrespective of their faith or belief to continue to pray for the good health of the president. According to him, the President needs our support because he means well for Nigeria. He therefore commended the leadership of APC and its governors for ‘’the synergy and optimum understanding that exists between the president and vice president in moving Nigeria forward.’’ NAN reports a seven-man delegation of Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) visited President Muhammadu Buhari on July 26 to ascertain his state of health. The governors were led by the chairman of the forum and governor of Zamfara, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari .

The Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission (EFCC) says its Acting
Chairman, Mr Ibrahim Magu, has been
endorsed by 25 countries around the world
for his relentless fight against corruption.
The Spokesman of the commission, Mr Wilson
Uwujaren, said this in a statement on Friday.
Uwujaren said the endorsement was the outcome
of an opinion poll conducted by UK-based Global
Peace Movement International.
The poll came a week after Transparency
International (TI) released its latest transparency
index, he said.
According to him, Nigeria for the first time in over
a decade, moved up in the global anti-corruption
and transparency ranking.
He said that analysts had attributed the
improvement to the efforts of the EFCC under
Magu.
“ According to the report by Transparency
International, the corruption perception index ranked
176 countries on a scale of 0 (perceived to be
corrupt) to 100 (perceived to be clean).
“In the report, Somalia was ranked the most corrupt
country in the world for the tenth straight year ,” the
spokesman said.
The President General of Global Peace Movement
International, Dr Mike Uyi , said the poll was
conducted to ascertain global opinion on the work
of the EFCC.
Uyo said Magu secured more than 96 per cent
endorsement by respondents, with the U. S., the
UK, France, Germany, Russia, Canada, China and
Belgium commending the work of the commission.
According to the report of the survey, the U.S.
topped the list of countries that endorsed the EFCC
chairman with 92 per cent of its respondents for,
and 7 per cent against.
The UK returned a 96 per cent affirmative and
France 85.
Other results of the poll, Uwujaren added, showed
that 90 per cent of German respondents voted in
favour of the EFCC chairman, while 9 per cent
disapproved.
Russia had 62 per cent in favour, and 29 per cent
against; Greece, 73 per cent for, and 22 per cent
against him.
Malta had 80 per cent in favour with 17 per cent
disapproval; Sweden, 85 per cent approval, and 7
per cent disapproval, and Belgium, 85 per cent for,
and 8 per cent.
Switzerland, Norway, Austria and India had 76, 85,
81 and 53 per cent approvals respectively, and 11,
8, 6 and 26 per cent disapproval in that order.
According to the EFCC spokesman, Brazil and
China returned 65 per cent approvals each, and a
disapproval rating of 27 and 22 per cent
respectively.
In Denmark, 84 per cent of the respondents voted
for Magu, and 4 per cent against, while in Canada
it was 91 per cent for and 3 per cent disapproval.
Other countries, including Japan, Luxemberg,
Mexico, South Korea, Portugal, Monaco and
Netherlands returned approval ratings of between
70 and 95 per cent.
Uyi said results of the survey on other elected or
appointed public officials in Nigeria would soon be
released to the public.

They don't take things as people see it. The development of the country is our Joy. But why is the Presidency feeding us with lies ? We deserve to know his whereabouts and the state of things. I don't ascribed to APC school of thought. In the last general election I became scape goat at home because of PMB. But on this platform saying the truth is like giving them poison. Look at what transpired during Yar'dua regime, there was massive looting during just to take advantage of the President's sickness. Look at what happened few weeks ago. Should Saraki and his colleagues succeeded in their plans. what do you think will be happening by now ?
