I know how you feel right now. I must tell you life is not the way we see it. But I can assure you that "Things Will Be Fine" By the grace of God.


My story is a bit similar to yours. I will be 28 this year too. I lost my Mum at the age of 21 I lost my Dad in 2016.


I know life won't be easy with that. There will be nobody to be around when you need help but I must tell you God is always around and no matter what always know that "Things Will Be Fine".


When there is no mother in one's life there is nothing you do it would be as if you don't know how to do them. Within you just believe that " Things Will Be Fine "


The number of bricks before you may be uncountable but believe that "Things Will Be Fine".


People will leverage on you, mock you, despise you, but I know for sure " Things Will Be Fine".


Define yourself, be focused, be optimistic, be open, be straightforward, be sincere, be kind , be positive, believe in yourself, build dreams greater than yourself, be liberal, move with people of unquestionable characters. With the above, I know and I can assure you " Things Will Be Fine".



Be close people that needs you , be kind and truthful to those that hate you, give even though when you have nothing to give. I know you "You Will Be Fine"


Be close to God, make friends irrespective of your belief and ethnic. Be Positive about those negative things around you. Surely, "Things Will Be Fine".



Focus less on woman. Develop the pictures of how your future should be within you. Develop the picture of your kind of woman within you. Hence, " Things Will Be Fine".



In all "Things Will Be Fine".

Dear Nairalands Good Afternoon,

I am not in a too good mood as I type this piece of mine. In fact, My legs are shaking. I don't know of what to do. I am an orphan. I graduated from the University this year's January. I lost my Mum in 2011 and I lost my Dad last year. I have been in a fierce struggle since I lost my mum. Since I was with her since inception.

I was at the Federal Medical Centre Owo in Ondo State few days ago for medical checks towards the NYSC stuff. The results is now ready. I passed the HIV test and my blood group too is nice. So I need to get the result of those tests into Certificate when the Doctor said I am reactive to a particular type of so so so so

I am not a saint. but my tent away from unrighteousness is wide. Since I was born I have not taken a drop of Beer of any brand whatsoever. Among my friends I am a different person when you talk of taking Alcoholic drinks.
I don't have any girl as of present. Since I was born I only had a single girl and we separated in 2016. She was the only lady I had sex with while in the University in a relationship which does not last a year.

The test showed that I have HEPATITIS B in the ACUTE state. I almost faint. I am a very straight forward person. I don't make friends as such. I am a Christian with the fear of God.

The Doctor said it can be treated. Since I lost my Mum I am just on my own.
I believe the story will be rewritten as that is not my portion.

So I was in 100l and I had this fine chick I was crushing on. She was one of the hottest girls in our church that year (yes, I used to be a sinner), friendly and all. I was mad over her.
Anyways, I mustered up courage and went to talk to her, and she seemed to like me too. I wan crase! Wasn't long before she invited me to her house (she was still seeking admission). Her parents were separated (but still had a good relationship) and she lived with her mom (working class) so life was good.

Fastforward to that day, I got to her house and she welcomed me with very few clothes on. I died of anticipation. We went in and right in the middle of 'setting fire to the rain' we heard her dad's car horn (both parents had different horn patterns for easier identification). Omo see panic. No where seemed good enough to hide. Finally, I packed all my stuff and ran into their 'generator house'. The man's driver drove in and then he decided to sit in the balcony (facing the gen house directly). Oh did I mention that her father was a very strict Muslim? So coming out was probably equal to some nasty ordeal like getting devoured by their mighty dogs or being chased by the driver and beaten silly. Her mother then came home about 10 mins after the man. Apparently the man wasn't feeling too okay.

I sha hid in the gen house for over 4 hours. Couldn't leave cos both parents decided that the balcony was good enough to relax. The man even slept off gaan. All this time, my crush was a nervous wreck.. She became 'miss obedient' to her parents occasionally sending me texts of 'I'm sorry' while I was discovering the dizzying powers of inhaling burnt gasoline over a long period of time.

Finally tho, I got rescued by her younger siblings (3 small girls). They heard I was in asylum directly opposite their parents and found a way to get me out without their parents noticing anything. I almost shed tears of joy that day.

Till today, one of them (her siblings) calls me "Oga gen" and if they want to tease me, I start hearing things like "Engineer Mikano" and "Nnpc"..
