Career / Save Yourself $45 Within The BLINK Of An Eye! by eyizlive(m): 2:13pm On Oct 18, 2022
So if you clicked on this topic because you thought i was about to disclose something you can do to make $45 as quickly and as easily as the blink of an eye, then i'm sorry. But if you keep up with that mentality of trying to find easy and quick ways to make money then you're DESTINED to be scammed; yes i mean DESTINED!

So what am i here to talking about? A study that can help you control your time and stay focused; and all you have to do is blink!

If you're a writer, a software developer or basically anyone working in the gig-economy, you know how valuable your time is and how it can be hard to stay focused especially when your work involves using social media. Social media is the ultimate distractor because something interesting or -more precisely- mind-buggling is always happenig. So you know that feeling of having a job to do but getting sucked into your social media feed, scrolling as if your phone as become a treadmill for your finger.

So what's the solution? What can you do to stay focused, to save your time and stop wasting money? BLINK! all you got to do is blink and i know that seems ridiculous but like that YE song, "life can be sometimes ridiculous." So how does it work and why should you even consider doing it? Well, it's all detailed in this article https://pactnuel.com/story/How-To-Improve-Focus-And-Control-Your-Time-By-Blinking

Literature / Come In For Your Conversational And Informative Youtube Scripts by eyizlive(m): 5:45pm On Aug 10, 2022
It's the information Age, we all know this but do you know people's favourite medium for getting that information? It's videos. If you own a YouTube channel you probably already know this. Then the problem would be how to make your channel the "go-to channel" for information or entertainment concerning your niche.

This is where A.M.S comes in. FAST AND PLAG-FREE YT CONTENT THAT'S CONVERSATIONAL AND INFORMATIVE. We are SEO and SEM certified and have been in the business of producing great content for over 4 years.

Do people need information? You bet.

And is it more engaging when the information is presented conversationally? YES.

Why? Because it's more personal thus you're building a relationship with your audience which most likely means they'll subscribe to your channel.

So, how much do I charge for this? This depends on the niche since some fields require more research and technicality than others.

Specifically, I write on;
Self-development
Sports
Psychology and psychedelics

For this niches, we generally charge 2.5 naira per word.

Generally, we also write on Finance, religion and entertainment. The charge for this is generally 3 naira upwards.

We take meeting deadlines as seriously as we take getting paid on time. That means if we fail to deliver on or before deadline then you have the right to delay payment.

So do you want to get your scripts? WhatsApp on;

Music/Radio / Harmony Between Nature And Sound. Jhene Aiko's Pretty Bird Song) by eyizlive(m): 1:00am On Jul 03, 2022
When sounds hit nature what it produces seems like vibrations. A synthetic wave coming from both sides and crashes into one another and causes the wind to blow.

The bird in question is gainfully at odds with the sounds around it. The sounds/the word around it that generated everything. It's a wheel and the WORD is placed on it so when it is spun, it keeps repeating a statement consistently and coherent and with greater speed.
In this case the word is "pretty Bird" and the birds are flying within the harmony of the sound.

Politics / The Real Reason Why Peter Obi Can Win! (POLITICALLY INCORRECT) by eyizlive(m): 8:06pm On Jul 02, 2022
"...the LABOUR of our heroes past, shall never be in vain..."

Heroes have always been known to labour. From the mythological ones like Achilles, Perseus to the religious ones like Jesus, Mohammed and so on. They always usually stand by the people. But who are the people? Are they only the youths? Are they only the oppressed? Are the youths always the oppressed?

The consensus seems to be that the people represent is everybody (which should obviously be the case) this includes the old, the young, the elites and the oppressed. This is because everyone wants something and we're more alike than different. The elites can become the downtrodden, the oppressed can become the oppressor and so on.

So although there is a me-versus-them dynamic on the surface, there really isn't really such a thing in the final analysis. EVERYBODY WANTS WHAT'S GOOD. The problem is what is good for A is not the same as what is good for B. This is one of the fundamental problems of politics,

how do you give as many people as possible what they consider as good that everybody can agree on?

No functioning society is made up of only what you term as "good people". Neither is any society built by only the energy of the youths.

Nigeria is as diverse as it gets and for every good thing that comes out of that, comes more problems. The man that can dialogue and negotiate with every diversity in this nation is the man of the people. A MAN THAT CAN REASON WITH THE NORTH, DISCUSS WITH THE EAST AND LEAD THE WEST. A MAN THAT CAN NEGOTIATE THE ISSUE OF FUEL SUBSIDY FOR INSTANCE WITH THE ELITES AND MAKE A CASE FOR THE MIDDLE AND POOR CLASS.

Not someone who hates the other side, considers his base as the righteous ones while the others are the weed that needs to be uprooted. After all it rains on both the evil and the good. And the reason is partly because no one is infinitely good or evil. We all have a fair bit of both in all of us. This is why no one is perfect.

After all, Jesus in Christianity, who was infinitely good did not destroy the Pharisees who wrongly accused him even when he had the power. Most people in fact knew he did not deserve to die and we all now know he had the power to have destroyed his detractors. But in the final analysis, he gave every single one something good that everyone can agree on.

The point of it all is that, a hero labours for the people not just a faction of it. When he speaks he's not only speaking to his base. If not, he LABOUR's in vain.

Family / Re: How I Survive On 3k Per Week In Nigeria by eyizlive(m): 2:26pm On Nov 04, 2021
Supreme145:
I commented on a thread yesterday that was about how much that can last someone through the week, I posted that I can manage 3k for a week and I was literary dragged and trolled through the thread. Some accused me of lying while some said I still live with my parents, others saw my post as a scheme to accrue favour from people.

I never wanted to open a thread about this, but as God would have it, he blessed me ( Not from that thread) through Nairaland best roofer and known philanthropist @ money121 and @despian that sent me something to help with my school project. I managed to squeeze out a little money and branch to the market to get some food stuffs. Below is a detail of how I spent 3k on food stuffs that would last me a week.

Rice 1 mudu(8 cups) : #600
Beans 1 mudu(8 cups) : #900
Potato : #500
1/2 bottle of palm oil : #400( I add just enough to colour the food)
1 packet of maggi : #250
Powder pepper :#100
Onions :#100
Airtime :#100
Total :#2950
The remaining #50 is for Chelsea match later in the evening.

While I didn't make this post to glorify poverty but it seems some people are oblivious to the situation of things in the country at the moment. Apparently the hardship levels is skewed, based on the values that people were quoting on that thread. While some food stuffs are at a premium at the moment, there are some of us that cut our suit according to our ankara.

Next is how I manage the foodstuff to last me a week in no particular order.

Day one: Rice and beans
Day two: beans and potatoes
Day three: only Rice
Day four: porridge potatoes
Day five : only beans
Day six: Rice and beans
Day seven: potatoes and oil
Fortunately the stomach does not disclose its contents.

I iterate through the list during the week, I spend only #100 on airtime during the week. I don't call any body and spend #25 daily for 250 mb night sub which I use to apply for jobs. I wait for the following week when it gets exhausted.
I use salt as makeshift paste and patronize Hausa black soap for bathing.
I've my faze cap to conceal my overgrown hair, though my lord luggard esque moustache have a way of bringing my legs outside.
I fetch well water, boil and sieve it, in that way home made Eva water is set, who knows I might own a pure water factory in future so I'm practicing now.

Added plus: My Girlfriend
It's a popular opinion on nairaland and the country in general that most Nigerian girls are useless and are out to bring nothing but misfortune and misery to our lives. I beg to disagree because the ones around me (mom, siblings and gf) are anything but useless.

My current girlfriend is a frugal spender and taught me how to spend prudently. She taught me how to cook thereby cutting the amount I spend on food to a significant level. I can give her just #1500 and she would prepare two pots of stew and soup to last me a week. Like my Oga @chatinet would say there are still women that can go to the market with 3k and come back with two nylons.

While other nairalanders open thread open threads about their parasitic girlfriends, mine is actually helping me through a difficult phase in my life.
Sadly despite my pitiful standard of living, I still have people that I'm better than and see me as a senior man. Its that bad.

I'm not comfortable with my condition so I'm looking for jobs so as to improve my standard of living. My fellow nairalanders help me to start eating with meat by offering my any job available. I'm a graduate of Statistics/Computer Science (bsc ed) and a web developer.

So the doubting Thomas's here's a breakdown of my 3k weekly spending.

Modified: Obviously some people are still doubting my credibility. I stay in north bank, Makurdi Benue State for those asking.

Bro u a legend! Damn!!
