IMO, the experience furniture is more sophisticated therefore the message is, knowledge is the foundation but experience makes you more sophisticated. Like T.D Jake's would say, if you've experienced something enough, you don't need the spirit of prophecy to be able to tell how an event will play out. When you read something your knowledge is on a basic level but with experience, you get to understand the thing/event completely. |
macphilip:Pls reply Asap...can we work around the fcmb issue? |
I'm trying to open an account with you guys but it seems you don't accept FCMB which is my bank, can we go around this? |

DARK STAR HORSE Dew dripping all over the sands/ Time stamps through the echoes, I'm alive/ Slices of my heart cooked in a broth at the liquor store/ Liquor on, capes on, with the heroine as I cloud-surf/ Thoughts that I taught to a thot sleeping/ Slipping through a thot as I taught her My thoughts are tough sweeping through the thot, I thought was sleeping/ Her thong slipping/ Pass that puff, dark lights on/ Run on the gas like a dark star horse/ |
THE BEER MEN Dark hue ones of the beer men/ When the sun sets and snores, they get louder than silence/ They arouse joy out of the sadness/ Singing aloud, seemingly aloof to the rum that makes them unquiet/ Hush hush, they repeatedly whisper into the gramophone/ Lost ones, in lust with their new found euphoric tones/ Euphoria, that state of mind is where they bury their unsullied bones/ Shoal of souls solely sailing slowly at sea, beer in hand screaming Skol! Life with the beer men living larger than life to the ends of the earth/ The ends of the earth like the hands of the beer men/ Tell of a legend 'bout the dark hue ones of the beer men/ |
THE VALIANT WARRIOR Love is my bane/ The valiant warrior, love is away/ She's Anna, she's weak with the hate/ The valiant warrior she meets, bewitched His strength like flakes fade away/ Love is her strength/ She's Anna, hate will now fret/ The valiant warrior is wary of her breath/ She's Anna, he kissed and limped Her plight alas alights to death/ Hate is his power, love is her bliss/ Sling shots of her stares and his heart is amiss/ He falls into the deep, she saves with a reach/ She wants to keep her love but she's killing him with love as he slips into an abyss/ Now she's strong to save/ The valiant warrior's heart beats in pain/ His demise quickens/ She's strength, she's with him/ Love is my bane/ Valiant warrior no more She's Anna, she has wrought the change/ For, he's now victory And victory's strength is not hate/ |
A SMOKING NIGHT A smoking night sky Rises out of the day/ Like the Phoenix out of the flames/ As light as day/ And as light as flakes/ A smoking night sky Leaves capsules of tell tale clouds/ With our dawn on the ash tray/ As light as day/ And as light as flakes/ The gods smoking our night sky Light the blunt A flicker so our stars shine/ A puff so the moon smiles/ As light as day/ And as light as flakes/ |
THIS IS IT This is it/ It's my four letter words that doesn't hate/ Which begins in "hell" through to heavens gate/ A smile on an Angel's face/ Prompts me to seek the best definition of beauty and instead of words, I have a name/ Lost in the splendour of a world only accessible through your eyes/ An imperfect paradise made perfect by your smile/ One that heals me/ By the miracle of your beauty/ This is it It's my imagination riding the waves of emotions stirred by you/ I get high off of it. Hoping to land on my feet, but then I fall for you/ And all I can do is pour my heart into a vessel for you/ Then pray that your thirst will not renew/ This is it. |
@op comfortably forgot to mention the ease it takes to make/earn those monies...yes in Nigeria you'll live like a big boy with $1500 and you can't do that abroad but how easy is it to make $1500 here? Over there, they have more jobs paying per hour. For instance, On an average a writing job pays $50 (20,500) for a 1500 word article. Enter Nairaland and your average pay for a 1500 word article is 3k (@2 per word). So what are we talking about? There's no way to spin it, Nigeria is terrible and that's a fact. It's a thing that happens when people get a little disappointed at life abroad, they start to feel that maybe Nigeria is not that bad. Just come back home and find out. |

lammyna:Please to whom or where can we report them? |
We really should do something about that site. They are really scamming people of funds...I personally invested 20k through an "exchanger" called Hollabiz. Anybody with ideas on at least how to close down the site should speak please. At least that if the criminal running the site can't be arrested. |

Kccheechy:Normally I don't do this but, how old are you? If you can compose a reply without insulting yourself, then there's hope for you. |
The way some peeps takeout their frustrations on NL topics shows naija is far from the worst. Too many children with Internet access. OP simply stated a frequent and undeniable occurrence in our generation and instead to shut up since there's nothing to say, y'all outchea defending your mums like someone attacked her. But I'm curious why most of y'all acting defensive of ya mums? As for the topic, I've always wondered why people rush into marriage anyways and I find out a lot of virgin niggaz (I mean does who've not been fuckd by life) think love is all that matters in marriage. Las las we go all dey alright |
etrange:I appreciate the fact that we had this argument without insults...and I'll prolly stop using the WORD " insultive". As for me being sentimental cuz you think I hate her, I couldn't agree cuz I don't hate wealthy people (including hoes) but like the statement you made, there are a million other stunts a Kim k could pull to go viral, so why this one? Now, I might be wrong and who knows, her account could even have been hacked or worse, she's border line stupid and doesn't care who knows... She's living the life tho', she deserves it and I respect her but that don't mean when I see shii I call it gold because it came from a celeb. |
etrange:Boy, this is tiring and I can't relate to your "logical perspectives" so here are facts. *kim bleeped for fame and money (if that's not a hoe and a clout-chaser, you're delusional) *she bought those horses, she likes those horses and typed "freesian" twice. It's not a typo and if she didn't know the correct spelling she could have googled it but she didn't. Honestly I don't know what she stands to gain but I know clout-chasing done right is big bucks. so if you're waiting for me to upload a video where she would say she did it for clout (evidence) well...that would explain a lot about you. |
etrange:Firstly, yes, I didn't know it wasn't standard but the comparison you're making is what I'm correcting. Secondly, I need you to point-out where I insinuated that she had to go to friesland to buy the horses. Thirdly, an error is not a crime but this here is not an error but clout-chasing (also not a crime) and your love/respect for Kim won't change that. So unless you want to tell me Kim isn't aware that the pronunciation of words aren't always equal to their spelling, you have no point here. |
etrange:Let me breakdown what you're saying... She bought 14 horses from somewhere she doesn't know. She just likes them and doesn't care what they're called until when she wanted to post it. Then she asks someone for the name and after hearing it, just assumed she could spell it. Is that right? I wasn't defending myself, insultive is a word although non-standard. I'm not an Englishman neither is this an exam hall. There's nothing called a "freesian horse", so stop trying to compare. |
etrange:Since you know about standard english words I'm sure you know that: *It's not free from regional differences *friesland is a place (the origin of the horses) not some English word that could become non-standard tomorrow because some "professors" don't like it. |
