A SMOKING NIGHT

A smoking night sky Rises out of the day/

Like the Phoenix out of the flames/

As light as day/

And as light as flakes/

A smoking night sky Leaves capsules of tell tale clouds/

With our dawn on the ash tray/

As light as day/

And as light as flakes/

The gods smoking our night sky Light the blunt
A flicker so our stars shine/

A puff so the moon smiles/

As light as day/

And as light as flakes/

THIS IS IT

This is it/

It's my four letter words that doesn't hate/

Which begins in "hell" through to heavens gate/

A smile on an Angel's face/

Prompts me to seek the best definition of beauty and instead of words, I have a name/

Lost in the splendour of a world only accessible through your eyes/

An imperfect paradise made perfect by your smile/

One that heals me/ By the miracle of your beauty/

This is it
It's my imagination riding the waves of emotions stirred by you/

I get high off of it. Hoping to land on my feet, but then I fall for you/

And all I can do is pour my heart into a vessel for you/

Then pray that your thirst will not renew/

This is it.
Business / Re: The Value Of The Naira: A Revelation Of The Values Of Nigerians! by eyizlive(m): 5:21pm On Sep 12, 2020
@op comfortably forgot to mention the ease it takes to make/earn those monies...yes in Nigeria you'll live like a big boy with $1500 and you can't do that abroad but how easy is it to make $1500 here?

Over there, they have more jobs paying per hour. For instance, On an average a writing job pays $50 (20,500) for a 1500 word article. Enter Nairaland and your average pay for a 1500 word article is 3k (@2 per word). So what are we talking about?

There's no way to spin it, Nigeria is terrible and that's a fact. It's a thing that happens when people get a little disappointed at life abroad, they start to feel that maybe Nigeria is not that bad. Just come back home and find out.

We really should do something about that site. They are really scamming people of funds...I personally invested 20k through an "exchanger" called Hollabiz.
Anybody with ideas on at least how to close down the site should speak please. At least that if the criminal running the site can't be arrested.

This opinion of yours is not only preposterous, it is the wackest and dumbest opinion I have heard concerning married people who cheat. It also Shows that you are just trying to justify your sleeping with another man's wife. Most times, we are the architect of our downfall. You are taking pride in sleeping with another man's wife not knowing you are creating an avalanche of problems that you may not come out from. Problems that your children will partake in if caution is not taken. If the husband of the woman you are bedding finds out and decides to punish you by killing you or rendering you useless through diabolical means now people who will see you then will start to pity you, not knowing the reason behind the fate that befell you.

Normally I don't do this but, how old are you?
If you can compose a reply without insulting yourself, then there's hope for you.

Celebrities / Re: Kim K Wrongly Spells The Name Of North's Horse. by eyizlive(m): 8:52pm On Jun 30, 2020

A "hoe" is supposedly someone who sleeps with different men. Kim is a married woman with a family who hasn't been accused of cheating. Kim's sex tape with someone she was dating when she was 22 got leaked and she sued the company who paid dearly for it outside court. Besides, she wasn't the only person whose sex got leaked that period but hers went viral cause she was already popular even before the tape. If your point is that anyone who has sex before marriage is a hoe, that's fine, she is one. But then, who isn't?

Ok, let's agree she was chasing clout then since it's a possibility that shouldn't be ruled out, that is not even our argument now. You posited that she made this exact post for clout and I am saying that's an assumption. I don't buy into that assumption cause there are a million things she could use to take over the social media if such was her aim. But again, I'm not ruling it off, I'm saying you shouldn't present your thoughts or assumptions like facts because you could be wrong. You'd agree with me if you aren't being sentimental.

I never for once said the error was a typo. I have always maintained it was an error (limited knowledge) and I am sure there are names you think you know how to spell but can't. Even auto correct wouldn't help you with such unpopular names that are not of English origin. Like I said, you simply made an assumption, the ideal thing was to use words like "probably", "might", etc. since you don't have any evidence. But your sentiments wouldn't let you.

I appreciate the fact that we had this argument without insults...and I'll prolly stop using the WORD " insultive".
As for me being sentimental cuz you think I hate her, I couldn't agree cuz I don't hate wealthy people (including hoes) but like the statement you made, there are a million other stunts a Kim k could pull to go viral, so why this one?
Now, I might be wrong and who knows, her account could even have been hacked or worse, she's border line stupid and doesn't care who knows...
She's living the life tho', she deserves it and I respect her but that don't mean when I see shii I call it gold because it came from a celeb.
Celebrities / Re: Kim K Wrongly Spells The Name Of North's Horse. by eyizlive(m): 6:33pm On Jun 30, 2020

And I'm telling there's nothing that evidently shows it's clout chasing. You're only presenting your assumption as a fact and that's fallacious. And that is even a funny assumption cause deliberate wrong spellings wouldn't get Kim, one of the most famous female celebrities in the world, any more attention than her family tv series or her pictures or her brand or her husband would get her. When it comes to proper nouns like people's names, names of places, etc., wrong spelling is very common even amongst native speakers so it's not a matter of knowing that words aren't necessarily pronounced according to words.

Concluding I'm saying these cause I love Kim goes to show how hastily you make your assumptions. I've not even seen a complete episode of her family show. I'm trying to be logical with my perspectives unlike some people who are calling her a clout chaser or a "hoe" based on pure sentiments and no evidence.

Boy, this is tiring and I can't relate to your "logical perspectives" so here are facts.
*kim bleeped for fame and money (if that's not a hoe and a clout-chaser, you're delusional)
*she bought those horses, she likes those horses and typed "freesian" twice. It's not a typo and if she didn't know the correct spelling she could have googled it but she didn't.
Honestly I don't know what she stands to gain but I know clout-chasing done right is big bucks. so if you're waiting for me to upload a video where she would say she did it for clout (evidence) well...that would explain a lot about you.
Celebrities / Re: Kim K Wrongly Spells The Name Of North's Horse. by eyizlive(m): 5:37pm On Jun 30, 2020

Wow! So you assume she actually went to the Netherlands to buy the horse? Do you guys in Nigeria go to Germany to buy a German shepherd? Oga, I live in North America and you can buy this horse from many breeding houses around here. The spelling she gave would have the same pronunciation as the correct word so she might have always called it correctly and just didn't know the spelling. An error is not a crime and not unusual.

"Insultive" is just an error that is very frequent. Anybody could coin anything and call it a word but regardless of how you paint it, it is still an error cause when you were making that post, I bet your intention wasn't to employ a "non standard word". You probably didn't know it wasn't an acceptable English word until I called your attention to it. And here you are justifying the usage.

Firstly, yes, I didn't know it wasn't standard but the comparison you're making is what I'm correcting.
Secondly, I need you to point-out where I insinuated that she had to go to friesland to buy the horses.
Thirdly, an error is not a crime but this here is not an error but clout-chasing (also not a crime) and your love/respect for Kim won't change that. So unless you want to tell me Kim isn't aware that the pronunciation of words aren't always equal to their spelling, you have no point here.
Celebrities / Re: Kim K Wrongly Spells The Name Of North's Horse. by eyizlive(m): 5:05pm On Jun 30, 2020
etrange:

Friesland is a place but you'd have to know the horse was named based on that fact that it originated from that place to know the spelling. She might know what someone from there is called but might not be aware that's the basis for naming the horse. Even if she didn't know about the place and what people from there are called, it's still an error caused by limited knowledge and not necessarily clout chasing. Friesland is a region in the Netherlands, you can't possibly tell me you know all the regions there and what people from each are called.

You don't have to be defensive, "insultive" is a frequent error in countries that speak English as a second language. It is called malapropism (the use of an incorrect word in place of a word with a similar sound). No English language testing institution would accept that regardless of the region. Whether it becomes standard tomorrow or not is another thing entirely.

Let me breakdown what you're saying... She bought 14 horses from somewhere she doesn't know. She just likes them and doesn't care what they're called until when she wanted to post it. Then she asks someone for the name and after hearing it, just assumed she could spell it. Is that right?

I wasn't defending myself, insultive is a word although non-standard. I'm not an Englishman neither is this an exam hall. There's nothing called a "freesian horse", so stop trying to compare.
Celebrities / Re: Kim K Wrongly Spells The Name Of North's Horse. by eyizlive(m): 4:05pm On Jun 30, 2020
etrange:

She spelt it wrong twice because it never occurred to her the spelling was wrong. It was not a mistake (accidental), it was an error (lack of knowledge). That doesn't make it deliberate. Anybody could be in that position just like you didn't know "insultive" is not a standard English word.

Btw, I wouldn't care if you sounded insulting, that's what NL is known for anyway.

Since you know about standard english words I'm sure you know that:
*It's not free from regional differences
*friesland is a place (the origin of the horses) not some English word that could become non-standard tomorrow because some "professors" don't like it.

You only go on Google if you feel unsure of the spelling. It's possible she felt confident with her wrong spelling.

Every successful woman is a hoe to you guys, this someone's wife o. She's a famous billionaire woman married to a famous billionaire man with a beautiful child. She has a very successful brand and does not need to hoe for any man for money. Her husband never accused her of cheating. So why are you calling her names? Money + fame + family, she's living the dream of everyone.

I don't want to sound insultive but is that what you do?
A word she spelt wrong twice and this is your argument for her?
And you're correct she's living the life.

Celebrities / Kim K Wrongly Spells The Name Of North's Horse. by eyizlive(m): 2:13pm On Jun 30, 2020
Kim kardashian West wrongly spells the name of a particular breed of horse she bought for her daughter.
She bought 14 of this breed and still couldn't spell it right and couldn't be bothered to check for the correct spelling.
This incident has sparked an underlying debate on Twitter as tweeps struggle to understand just how much power money brings.
The horses are "friesian horses" and FRIESLAND is where they come from. Some tweeps from friesland took offence and have corrected the KUWTK-star but her fans are not having it.

What works for A might not work for B, always find the balance

Read about Simon Cowell's life, read about The Founder of Kentucky's life

For me I left home very early for college 16/17, travelled out after service and never looked back since except visitation.. but my street brother stayed and married in his father's house, built a sport betting company from home, built his first house from home, leveraged on his father's Goodwill and became a caretaker LGA chairman, and became a multimillionaire ,

If I never had to pay huge rent because of Vagina aka Privacy I could have done a lot at home, and if I had stayed and put up with my parents "wahala" I would had been better motivated

Serving a Landlord by paying your rents to him is a sure way not to get your own house, always leverage on family support

.
True shii...leverage on family support but of course that's if there is any.
