In the video clip, the King stated clearly when asked about "ijo" that the term "Ijo" does not reference an ethnicity but a mere slogan - without trace or historical significance - used to categorize group of people or place. He did not identify himself as "Ijo" hence the use of gender pronoun " they, thier" as against "we", "us" when describing this ambiguous group. In summary the term "Ijo" is a fraud.

All comes to butress the grand deception and fraud I've been talking about.

I provided you an oral account of a son of the soil ( I have an  audio evidence of our dialogue) . An indigine, a nobleman from the famous Wiwa family of the so called "Ogoni" decent as passed down to him by his ancestors. He specifically and cartigorically told me he is an Igbo man.  I don't know what further proof you need?

This individual sees himself an Igbo man from Eleme and according to him, there are no differences between Ogoni, Eleme or Wakrike.

He's from the same royal family as the famous Ken Saro Wiwa. Does it not raise a flag when outsiders identifies  Ken Saro Wiwa as someone from Ogoni whereas he gave contrary account that the Saro Wiwa family - which himself hail from - is from Eleme.

A watchful and decerning mind should be able to draw conclusion by identifying common name patterns such as (N)Wike, N(Wiwa), N(Wogu) in the areas under consideration as compared to common names such as N(Wabara) N(Wachukwu) , (N)Wike, (N)Worgu, (N)Wiwa borne by their closest neighbors. The Ngwa's and Ikwerri's etc.

It's also worthy of note that you cannot rule out the influx of minimal ibibio-efik cultures in these border communities just like the case of the Aro's, Ohafia and other border territories.

There is a theory I have, but just from historical observation, how their name changed over time. I mean the Wakirike people.

Barbot recorded the name as Creke or something like that. (I will check the right spelling later) but it started with C, and one could pronunce it as "Creeke" or "Creek".
I feel Kirike is a corruption of the word "Creek" or a Portuguese or Latin base meaning of the word "Creek".

The dialectical word for "Nwa" in that area is "Wa". I think that's why they are called, "Wakirike". "Child of the Creeks".

I just hazard that guess, but a logical one from the records of how the names were recorded. Just like how parts of New Calabar became "Kalabari"
