Hi house. I really do not know which section to post this but it also includes matters of the heart as well so maybe this might be the correct section. Apologies if its the wrong one.

your story is heartbreaking but not new. We have heard so much about ladies loosing self confidence because of one reason or the other. If you can do something about your weight do. Loos it. If you can't get a make over. There are shopps that sell good clothes for different shapes and sizes, work on your confidence. i think you would break her heart if you started dating her because you do not know how to handle a relationship yet. Since she is not a girlfriend but a wife, maybe you should be calm and confront her about it. Make her see the importance of faithfulness in marriage and why its not adviceable to be meeting up with exes behind your back
