At the mention of Ojukwu non-igbos go to the next dimension of always trying to disrespect him. |
MrCrackles:I never said so.I don't know why you have decided to comprehend what i said in a rather awkward way.I was only trying to point out that Anambrarians might have voted Obi because of Ojukwu, I never said that they voted him because of his God[Ojukwu]. |
Peter Obi has been announced as the winner. |
INEC has announced the incumbent Governor of Anambra state Mr Peter Obi of APGA as the winner of the February 6th 2010 election in Anambra state. The question is: Was the February 6th gubernatorial election in Anambra state FREE AND FAIR? I have spent hours trying to get an answer to the question, and the more i try the more confused i get.The fact remains that Mr Peter Obi was in a better possible to win because 1. In a free and fair election, the people must have voted OBI because of Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu.Igbo people will always honour the wish of Dim Ojukwu the Ikemba of Nnewi. As for me, I don't believe in the recycling of governors, hence the reason i would not for one day support the likes of Mr Peter Obi and Ngige though Ngige won in the poll i organised, Anambra state e-election in Nairaland. If i accept Peter Obi as the governor of Anambra state,i am doing that because of IKEMBA. 2. As the incumbent Governor,he is also in a better position to rig the election, irrespective of the thousands of corrupt police men sent to Anambra state by the Federal Government.Andy Uba and Soludo must have rigged the election too,but maybe the power of incumbency prevailed. |
Have INEC announced the result at your polling center? |
I am already seeing some irregularities. |
Dr Chris Ngige of the action congress (AC) has emerge the winner of the Feb. 05 2010 e-election in Nairaland forum, where 104 great e-politicians casted their vote.In all: Dr Chris Ngige of AC got 44 votes Prof Chukwuma Soludo of PDP got 38 votes Mr Peter Obi of APGA got 18 votes Mrs Uche Ekwunife of PPA got 2 votes Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu of HDP got 1 vote Mr Andy Uba of LP got 1 vote. |
peter Obi got 18 votes Soludo got 38 votes Ukachukwu got 1 vote Dr Ngige got 44 votes(the winner) Uba got 1 vote Ekwunife got 2 vote all in a total of 104 votes. |
Dr Chris Ngige of the action congress (A.C) is the winner of Anambra state e-election conducted in Nairaland. |
The Nairaland e-election will end by 5:31pm,so it would be my honour to announce the winner of Anambra e-election in Nairaland forum by 5:32pm. |
The court have ordered INEC not to conduct election in Nigeria but have not ordered the Nairaland e-election to stop,so remember voting closes by 5pm today. |
I am quite confused.the court have ordered INEC not to hold election in Nigeria. |
Tomorrow is the last day to vote. |
More two days to the election proper, and more one day to the end of Nairaland Anambra e-election. |
there is tension in Anambra state as the day to decide the future of Anambra people draws near,Anambrarians must not miss this opportunity. The world is watching.INEC beware,Nigerians are no more fools,Evil politicians beware.Anambra state must move foward. |
The Nairaland e-election will end on Friday while election proper will be on the saturday being the next day.I do hope you all will go out en-masse to exercise your franchise. Our generation and the generation un-born depend on our vote,if it will count. My prayer to God is that the election be free and fair, that is all i want. The whole world is looking at Anambra state,i just hope that INEC will not disappoint us again. |

Eziachi:I don't seem to comprehend your point. Are you saying that Sen.Nicholas Ukachukwu have decamped from Hope Democratic Party(HDP)? |
nellaluv:Yes Andy Uba is also contesting. |
Ilelobola:believe me your vote has been counted as NON OF THE ABOVE. |
savenaija:let them rig the election and we will reject the result. |
Sam Milla:Anambra state a power hungry state? |
I have always reserved my comments on issues like this, but i have decided to say something,so that the generation unborn will bear me witness that i fought for the enthronement of bad politics by good politics. I have come to a conclusion that until Nigerians learn to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,our dear nation will still be suffering from the ugly hands of these political beasts. As far as i am concern, I don't support recycling of politicians or better say in this case recycling of Governors,if you have gone there before and your tenure is not enough for you to deliver the dividends of Democracy to the people, then i don't think you are worthy of going for a second term.I have not seen a candidate that i can say is worthy of taking up the affairs of Anambra state for the next four years. But in as much as i don't support any body,if i am called upon today to singularly appoint a governor for Anambra state, then i will leave the seat vacant for the next four years. |
mikeansy:Others were opinion polls while this is an e-election.Believe me this will help somehow after the main election, because it might be used to determine if the election was rigged. naija_swag:Yes.There are so many Nairalanders that are Anambrarians. So if they can cast their votes here it could count. |
ok,cast your vote above. |
Nairaland e-election for anambra state.please cast your votes. . |
This is a call for all Nigerian youths to stand up and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.No more rigging of elections.Anambra youth observers have vowed to monitor the Anambra state election with the best of technologies within their reach, like the unlimited zooming digital cameras to be placed every where around the polling centers. Please let us monitor this election and show the result to the world. |
