MrCrackles:
Some folks might as well just say Ojukwu is Peter Obi's god!!
For fu/cking hell sake, who is Ojukwu when there is God huh
I never said so.I don't know why you have decided to comprehend what i said in a rather awkward way.I was only trying to point out that Anambrarians might have voted Obi because of Ojukwu, I never said that they voted him because of his God[Ojukwu].

PoliticsBecause Ojukwu Was Involved. by Ezenwenyi(op): 3:41pm On Feb 07, 2010
INEC has announced the incumbent Governor of Anambra state Mr Peter Obi of APGA as the winner of the February 6th 2010 election in Anambra state. The question is: Was the February 6th gubernatorial election in Anambra state FREE AND FAIR? I have spent hours trying to get an answer to the question, and the more i try the more confused i get.The fact remains that Mr Peter Obi was in a better possible to win because
1. In a free and fair election, the people must have voted OBI because of Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu.Igbo people will always honour the wish of Dim Ojukwu the Ikemba of Nnewi.
As for me, I don't believe in the recycling of governors, hence the reason i would not for one day support the likes of Mr Peter Obi and Ngige though Ngige won in the poll i organised, Anambra state e-election in Nairaland. If i accept Peter Obi as the governor of Anambra state,i am doing that because of IKEMBA.
2. As the incumbent Governor,he is also in a better position to rig the election, irrespective of the thousands of corrupt police men sent to Anambra state by the Federal Government.Andy Uba and Soludo must have rigged the election too,but maybe the power of incumbency prevailed.

All these polls, opinion polls, whatever polls, the funny thing is that MOST of those voting (abi rigging it) are either not from Anambra state or not resident in Anambra state and on Saturday WILL NOT even cast their vote for anyone. Those of them that are from Anambra state do not even have valid voter's card nor do they know the name of their wards or polling booths! Those that will vote are in the villages, the streets clutching their cards, waiting to vote Peter Obi in.

Eziachi:
I meant that the guy changes party as frequent as you changes your under wears. In the last 8 years he has been in APP, left to join PDP, left to rejoin now ANPP, left again to rejoin PDP, then left again PDP in 2007 and after immediatly after 2007, he went back to the fold (PDP) as he calls it and now left again for what is it called now HOPE PARTY?

That what I meant, that if you vote him and his hope, he will rejoin PDP even before the vote is even counted.
Now i concur.

Before the vote is counted, you might find it difficult to locate Ukachukwu because he has found another party to join. He seems to have a new party every 6 months.
I don't seem to comprehend your point. Are you saying that Sen.Nicholas Ukachukwu have decamped from Hope Democratic Party(HDP)?

PoliticsRe: The Truth About Soludo by Ezenwenyi(m): 10:30pm On Jan 30, 2010
I have always reserved my comments on issues like this, but i have decided to say something,so that the generation unborn will bear me witness that i fought for the enthronement of bad politics by good politics. I have come to a conclusion that until Nigerians learn to say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,our dear nation will still be suffering from the ugly hands of these political beasts. As far as i am concern, I don't support recycling of politicians or better say in this case recycling of Governors,if you have gone there before and your tenure is not enough for you to deliver the dividends of Democracy to the people, then i don't think you are worthy of  going for a second term.I have not seen a candidate that i can say is worthy of taking up the affairs of Anambra state for the next four years. But in as much as i don't support any body,if i am called upon today to singularly appoint a governor for Anambra state, then i will leave the seat vacant for the next four years.

How many of these polls have we had already?

It looks like we will continue to have new polls untill we have a different result.
Others were opinion polls while this is an e-election.Believe me this will help somehow after the main election, because it might be used to determine if the election was rigged.

naija_swag:
Is Nairaland Anambra State where the election is to be held. Why not conduct an opinon poll.
Yes.There are so many Nairalanders that are Anambrarians. So if they can cast their votes here it could count.
