The Fulani are going to take the fight to the Yorubas. lol

Uthman dan Fodio's children have unfinished business with the Yoruba. grin

The enslavement of the Yoruba is what the Fulani really wanted.

Ibime:
Those of us who would like to see the dissolution of the geographical entity called Nigeria were bred with this break-up mentality from youth.

This is the prevailing mentality in the former South-Eastern region of Nigeria.

Growing up in PH, all our elders used to talk about how good it would be if the South could seperate from the North.

Are those elders also living in the diaspora?
Thank you Ibime.

From childhood, I was told stories about Biafra and the war that crushed the South-East dreams.

Only a fool would state that only Nigerians in the Diaspora are the only ones who support dissolution of Nigeria.

They have never come to the South-East. And the person who wrote this thread is probably a deluded Yoruba.

go ing thru your posts i noticed you are one dimensional guy ,
you talk of war , AK47, first amendment blah blah. lets cut to the chase when it come down to war will you still be in the Diaspora?
I am actually not in the diaspora as I clearly stated. The only reason I go to the diaspora from time to time is to finish at my university in Washington DC

I actually took a semester off.

@ Mekusxx, Ezeuche

I am tired, really tired! When people say Nigerian universities are not good enough, its people like you that make me unable to answer the question properly. Your thought process is either faulty or you must be devoid of logic. I cannot see how this thread should lead to tribe bashing. For crying out loud, you guys are not as educated as the yorubas,  not as intelligent as the yorubas, but we don't use any and every opportunity to shove it in your face.
You have to be kidding. I do not think I should give your asinine statement a proper rebuttal, but you have attacked my intelligence. If you had one iota of my intelligence, you would be considered a genius, however, you do not and therefore I must refute you.

I simply stated that the political killings in Yorubaland need to be handled, before your region has another crisis again. Therefore, I am simply warning my Igbo brethren not to get involved in your mess.

Anyone else who insults my intelligence will be rebuked in a severe manner.

Adieu!!!

Come and fight the break Up war, Facebook and internet wariors. Every small effort we make here is no good, Let them come and fight, infact suicide bomb Nigeria, Aso rock and the National Assembly
In this day and age where advanced technology is being used to start revolutions. I can give examples, like Iran which is going through a Green Revolution with the use of Twitter and Obama was swept to the presidency through grassroots online.

People underestimate the power of the internet.

And people abroad, are normally the ones who can make a revolution a reality. If you look at history, people had to go abroad to start revolutions.

Ex:

Russian Revolution - Stalin traveled to Germany
Vietnam Revolution - Ho Chi Minh traveled to France
Iranian Revolution. Ayatollah traveled to Iraq

abeg shut up, who do u think u are? Okonkwo?

Tippy Top, nice one.
Look mumu, you people hate the fact that the Igbo will never ever consider themselves Nigerians. The same goes for the "Niger Deltans" so hush.

Oil Oil Oil is all you people talk about. The funny thing about it is that you do not benefit from the oil.

No I am not Okonkwo, I am just the man who is in your mother's pot.

I am in Nigeria as we speak, and I am calling for dissolution so what does that tell you?

The Igbo will continue to call for dissolution. It doesn't matter if we are home or abroad.

This is one major group in which the majority of the population support having their own sovereign state.

Saying Yorubas are killing themselves every day is pure  nonsense. I just read a caption on Nollywood stars that were assassinate in Benin. Are those Yorubas too. Lets face the fact the country is unstable and the bad leaders from Obasanjo to Ojukwu, Sultan, Babangida are those you should be pointing fingers at. If you ever think these people are there for your interest your fate is not too different from those that are massacred each day.

Wake up from your slumber and lets join hand to fight the enemies of our nation
Do not put Ojukwu in the same category as Obasanjo.

How can you compare an educated patriot of the Igbo people with a dumb bufoon who barely has a grasp on the English language?

Look at them trying to connect people in the East arriving to support the Christians of Jos.

These people only had mere tools!!!  angry

Maybe they should be tracking vehicles or herdsmen from the North instead of people from the south.
Politics › Untruths About Diaspora Nigerians When It Comes To Politics by EzeUche(op): 5:53pm On Mar 14, 2010
I live half of the year in Nigeria and the other half in the Diaspora and I can tell unequivically that most Diaspora Nigerians, especially the ones born in the Diaspora know nothing about Nigeria when it comes to politics.

These Diaspora Nigerians, are the loudest Supporters for "One Naija." They go to parties all patriotic and wrapped in green and white and shout "One Naija" while so many people are suffering in Nigeria. They know nothing and I mean nothing about the suffering. Even the Igbos who were born in the Diaspora shout out "One Naija."

The people agitating for a divided Nigeria is the ones at home. I can't speak for all the other regions, but in Igboland, 95% of Igbos support having their own sovereign Igbo State. I never ever heard in Alaigbo a supporter of "One Naija." This is a fact. Let someone REFUTE me on this. If a major group is against "One Naija" no Yoruba, Hausa or other group can say that most people back home support Nigeria as One. angry

I hate when either Diaspora Nigerians or Nigerians home try to talk about how the other thinks. If you have not spent as much time in the Diaspora, or at home, then you cannot speak on behalf of them.

@all, what happened in biafara was a culmination of many fatal errors and incompetence of some of officers who should have known better. All my life i had always thought that Major Kaduna was the cause of the civil war but since i saw and posted pixes of his grave at the military cemetery, through comments and reactions from both web and home i have come to know that that boy intended saving this country from where we are today. When the incompetent military officers in the eastern region foolishly failed to kill their targets that gave birth to a situation Nzeagwu hadn't bargained for.
Secondly the ethnic composition of the coup plotters gave an impression that the igbos had an alterior motive for the said revolution but just ten years later a similar coup by middlebelt officers from plateau state to end Murtala's life points to the fact that you only trust your own when plotting a takeover, negotiations come after. The distrust from that first Major Kaduna coup is what finally united the whole nation against the igbos but that is just my opinion.
Major Kaduna Nzeogwu was a true patriot for this 'Banana Republic' we call Nigeria. He believed in this nation and looked at how it repaid him.

The nation is still united against the Igbo. It is no lie, that the Ndi Igbo are one of the most marginalized groups in the political process. As a major ethnic group, the Igbo cannot be marginalized for so long and still think this nation can remain one.

Nigeria has never solved the Igbo Question as I always state, and this has sown the seeds of the nation's destruction.

I know many of my people will get angry when I say this, but the Nigerian gov't should have either done two things in order to have solved this Igbo Question. Either thoroughly destroyed the Ndi Igbo, that they would never ever in their wildest dreams ever think to secede from Nigeria or with open arms, integrate my people into the political process.

The FG did neither of these things, so we know how this will end.

Let the Christians take their revenge. I support them.

The only good Muslim Islamist is a dead Muslim Islamist.

Let them punish these demons. Forget reconciliation and turning the other cheek! These Muslims think they can push us Christians around.

Show them, that before the White Man brought his religion, we had our own religion that dictates that we wipe these people out. Sometimes I wish we still followed the old ways. Amadioha would strike vengeance on these fools.

MASSOB is nonviolent but maybe we should become violent.

It seems like this government only understands violence.

Politics › Re: Between U.s And Nigeria, Which Is A More Free World? by EzeUche(m): 10:28pm On Mar 13, 2010
The only free thing about Nigeria is the tax issues. Americans sure do tax a lot. No taxes is freedom in my opinion.

However, I still prefer living in the U.S. than Naija.
