Okoro2015:
The sentiments shared in the comments of the generality of umuigbo can just be summarised in one sentence. "This kind of thing cannot happen in Igboland" Imo state remains the Eastern Heartland. I can confirm that the so called incident is still a rumour and if anything close to that happened, no life was lost. This is just another hyper inflated story. People surprise me with the kind of low resistant fuse they carry in their skulls. MASSOB is on ground in Imo - infact Rochas is a de facto member.

Southern states should learn how to provide an alternative to NPF in the face of Imminent collapse of this forced marriage called Nigeria. SE/SS states as the future United States of Biafra should brace up on how to live in between an extremist Neighbour up North and a "Woman" neighbor West of Biafra.
Let us hope that this is only a rumour.

The South-West? No. . .

The South-East? No. . .

Without the support of any of the three major groups, he will lose.

Boko Haram - Lawmaker Warns Against Military Action

Benin — A member of the House of Representatives, Rasaq Bello-Osagie has warned as employing military action to tackle the Boko Haram sect.

Speaking in Benin, at the weekend, he called for investment in intelligence gathering, saying that would be able to tackle the problem posed by the group.

Bello-Osagie, who represents Oredo federal constituency at the House of Representatives, described the issue as very sensitive, and added that military action as being proposed by certain groups, would not solve the problem, but would rather escalate it.

"I think the country should invest in intelligence gathering. We need information, it is not at all times that we should revert to military action.

I think that if we can know the people, know where they are through superior intelligence gathering, we will know how to engage them.

It is a sensitive matter. For now, it is like we are fighting the fifth columnist, we don't know the faces of those we are fighting, all we hear is that people are being killed," he said.

The men from that village are very foolish and weak. A similar incident happened in my village six years ago. The result was that five Fulanis where killed in reprisal attack and all their huts where burnt. Their children where through into a river for fishes to eat. The remaining fulanis where chased out to the next state boarder. Their cows was gather together and set ablaze. The police latter came and arrested 10 people and they where released after a month for lack of evidence against them. In Nigeria if you don't protect your self, you will die for nothing. I advise this weak villagers to seek support from MOSSOB.

what is wrong with those villagers, waiting for police to investigate and arrest them fools, stop blocking highways and send your youth to go and fight the bastards the only language they understand is force

, if a man comes to your house and defecate in your sitting room, what do you do ? Men of Imo state say they 'll wait for the police to arrest the sacrilege . But Okonkwo of Umuofia village says : 'I'll take a stick and broke his head period'.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Mitchelll

Those people that blocked the high way in the name of protest are group of cowards. A stranger come to your house defecate on the floor and you are waiting for the Government or law enforcement agencies to clean it up. Can any Igbo man go to the north to rape their women? The result will be amputation of legs and arms. Fools

Why on earth should Imo people demonstrate over their own right? Some times one wonder if these so called Southerners are Nigerians at all because l know quite well that no Northern man can all a Southern man to go unpunished if he or she does such a thing in the Northern part of the country. Southerners pls wake up.

Then they should tell other Igbo clans throughout the area to find the Fulani. This is Igboland! And word spreads fast.

Boko Haram just gave us a dirty slap , telling us that we are nobody . That we nolonger have men in our communities . Boko haram bring us war by killing our people and Desecrating our women right in our nose and the best we can do is just to protest . Shame on the youth and men in that communities for bring shame to our women . For your information violation is one of the way to defile an enemy in Islam that why you see its use a weapon of war in Islamic nations . Boko Haram is laughing because they defile our women and all what we can do is to protest . SHAME  ! SHAME ! SHAME

, all of you in that axis of Imo State are cowards, infact the youths of this area should be ashamed of themselves. When a stranger is chasing you out of your ancestral land, is this how you intend to bring back Biafra ? You must all be good for nothing fellows there, to cut the long story short "una don fall our hand".
The graves of your ancestors must be becoming very uncomfortable for them due to your unheard of response, going to block the road that has done nothing to you

This is another act of Boko Haramism. under the Nose of the Igbos. Such things should nt call for protest. the Imolites had use advantage of Indigenous standing to give them Jungle Justice. You don't expect the Government to do everything for you.

When this Boko Haram members came in name Fulani Herdsmen and kill people in Ekiti state , we all took it as a child play . Now they in Imo state killing and Desecrating our wivies and sisters with impunity and we just go out and protest . Protest to who ? to timid GEJ to help you ?  Just read the police comment " The police is aware of previous reports about the activities of the
Fulani herdsmen in the area. We are investigating the incident but the
villagers did not wait for us to complete our investigations before they
jumped into the highway,” the police officer said.
We the southerns still dreaming that we have a government that listen or that can help us . Boko Haram and other muslims beast kill our people living in the north ( most christian from the south ) without provocation , till this moment nobody is serving time in the jail from all those killing . Now Boko Haram as bring the killing to our door step and violated our women and the best we can is to protest , what a shame .

Very, very disappointing. An Igbo community to behave like cowards, it is unthinkable. How I wish this happened in Warri where I come from, for the next five years, there would be no beef in Delta State because after wiping those animals out of the nook and cranny of the State, no any other animal in human skin would be bold enough to come back to that area.

Ohaji kwenu, Ndi Igbo kwenu!!!!!!!!!!! Make sure go machete and burn Ndi Hausa in that area entirely. They can not come to our land and rape Igbo women again. They have done it during Biafra War. Umuakpu Kweenu!!!!! You guys are dissappointing us, dont you have a youth group? Hunt down those cows in human body, look for some man-lover people to violation them, carve them out with your matchetes before setting them ablaze! sell their cows to compensate to families of the berieved! and declare your community a no go area to Fulani and their hordes. Chikena! Protesting is not gonna solve anything because like goats, they'll come back and wanna do worse!

------------------------------------
Nagagiwa Ichiro

Barricade the highway? This is a grave insult to the entire ibo race. Abokis  violated  ibo women, killed 2, and the youths of the community resorted to barricading the highway, instead of killing  the bloody abokis  and their cattles. Aboki`s can`t dream of coming to my community - obioma ngwa, to try this bullshit. Cos we will feed on them as well as their cattles. It is a fact that nigeria is now a lawless state. And when lawlessness becomes the   order of the day, it becomes unlawful to be law abiding. Both the traditional ruler and the youths of this community should be castrated and sent to ogoni, to be tapping palmwine. The same abokis that are killiing ndigbo in the north, have the guts to come down to igboland and carry out this gruesome act.  ndi hausa, soon, you will know that, other extractions can equally produce suicide bombers and killers.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Please this is incensing. The actions of the villagers I mean. What on earth are you doing protesting on the highway or anywhere else when you should be in the forests and fields of Umuapu hunting down these Northern beasts and killing them. God has given you these murderous boko haram people who have been Desecrating and killing your Southern sisters and brothers in their desert north on a platter and you don't use this opportunity to teach them sense but only go out to protest at the very same acts committed by these beasts on Igbo soil. Not one death documented as reprisal? A great disspointment in all the talk of the 'Igbo Warrior'.

Even if these murderous lot have run off could you not find any Mai nama suya sellers around your communities to kill which would then send a message to these beasts that you are ready for them?
Please I hate this kind of news report.
Let everyone listen to Malcom X their fellow muslim brother who advised an eye for an eye as well as going into the neighbourhood of your enemy to pay him in like coins if he entered your neighbourhood to commit any atrocity against you.

Suffice it to say that I am dissapointed at the people of that community.

I know the Fulani cattle rearers can destroy farmland but I don't know of Desecrating women. It is ridiculous to say that they violation Igbo women. And if they did, road block will not solve the problem. Unless these aboki are bribing the royal father of that community. How can they all the way from Ugwu come to Igboland to violation. Wonder shall never end. Well I do not think they violated anybody. If they did then its a shame on that community for dragging the name of Igboland to the mud in this news. Even if the community do not have enough youths they can approach a nearby community for rescue mission. How can aboki with his uncircumcised tool violation Igbo woman. It is an insult upon injury that they destroyed there farm and to cap it all violation their women.
