jason123:Ahmadu Bello definitely had the foresight. His question for his people's dominance of Nigeria continues to this day. That is why his people revere him like a saint. |
I still think Azikiwe and Ironsi should be in this title. My Igbo brothers, we must shine our eyes. |
Seanet1000:Oloshi! In order to get world support, there must be a North/South divide. We can divide further once we break away from the North. ![]() |
emmke:They can also do that to Nigeria so what is your point? |
As I said before, great oratory, lovely boasts about what would have happened if not this or that. But when the rubber meets the road, incompetence, failure and utter defeat. Anyway, perhaps one day we shall see. And regarding running? All I can do at that is laugh. If that day comes, it will be you fleeing into refugee camps, not I
Too bad our rivalry will not be the greatest rivalry in Africa. That distinction goes to Ethiopia and Somalia. |
Onlytruth:Well not all parts of Igboland. We in Abia have our Vigilante Force. ![]() |
Seanet1000:Now when you hear the truth, you do not want to listen. Sorry but his account will soon be confirmed.

|
omenala:Defeat them all. Push them out of Imo state!!! ![]() |
oyb:And they still remain SOVEREIGN nations. I fear you know nothing about the world. I hope you know what the bolded word means. But you can always use Google if you do not know. |
Why not go after those thieving politicians who have done far worse by looting Nigeria's coffers? ![]() |
What makes us different from animals? |
Now it is time to stop turning the other cheek! ![]() |
Onlytruth:Ekt bear already knows my opinion about wherever Igbo populations reside. ![]() |
Hehe. Indeed. Most of these Igbo folk who talk about Ilorin simply have no clue. @Onlytruth: The difference is, you aren't Jews, and we aren't Arabs. As I said, Jews in the same position in 1967 would have won. You on the other hand lost ![]() I fear no man and no peoples in West Africa (and most of the rest of Africa), let's put it that way.
If you know history. . . Israel was supported by the US and the UK. Two powerful allies who provided them with weapons. Tell the full story. Biafra was isolated. |
I cannot wait to see a Biafra nation as well as a Oduduwa nation. Let the rivalry begin! ![]() |
Well, some Yorubas like myself have sympathy for his condition, but I don't know any of us that respect Ikemba.
Speak for yourself and not for all your people, because I know Yorubas who respect him what he stood for. |
Eze, Of course he will always be celebrated and respected, but. . . .by his people. What caught my attention was the term "every ethnic grp". Wow!!
Well he is respected by many non-Igbos as well. |
His people love him and that is the most important thing, and we shall defend him. |
VoodooDoll:Thank you for your post. There is a reason why he is respected and people like Obasanjo and Gowon are ridiculed. |
I think people thrive on threads such as these. ![]() |
Corps members from the South should not be posted in the NORTH! ![]() |
Anyone who thinks Zik was a tribalist should have their head examined. And I mean that. ![]() He was naive, he was a pan-Africanist, but he was never a tribalist. |
Imo 10,000 jobs: Only 2,035 genuine – Committee Owerri – The Imo government 10,000 jobs verification committee, on Tuesday submitted its report to government. The committee found out that only 2,035 of the 10,000 jobs said to be given to youths were genuine. The Ikedi Ohakim-led administration in its last week in office, announced the job offer, which Gov. Rochas Okorocha suspended in June and set up the verification committee in that regard. Presenting the report to the Secretary to the Government of Imo (SSI), Prof. Anthony Anwuka, the committee’s Chairman, Mr Charles Onuoha, said that only 8,211 beneficiaries of the said employment scheme showed up for verification. Onuoha said that the verification which covered the period between Oct. 2010 and April 2011, was thorough and devoid of any victimisation. The chairman said some of the offers were “politically-motivated” because some public officers involved in the exercise compromised their positions. According to him, some of those said to have been given the appointment scored less than 40 per cent in the aptitude tests conducted for the job while others did not take the examination at all. He added that other flaws that characterised the job offers were indiscriminate offer of appointment letters, bribery, and certificate/documentation discrepancies. Receiving the report, Anwuka commended the committee for carrying out the exercise with high sense of responsibility, promising that government would study it and act accordingly. According to him, the verification was not meant to be a witch-hunt, but to put the record straight for posterity. Anwka gave an assurance that the 2,035 persons cleared, of security of their jobs, and advised those not cleared to take advantage of the youth empowerment programme initiated by the present administration. He directed all those believed to have been offered appointments under the much-advertised 10,000 job offers, to check at their local government headquarters, to find out whether theirs were genuine or not. This is a very provocative thread. Why didn't I think of this? ![]() And I knew Katsumoto would be in this thread. This is when he comes alive. Justcash, you should have added Ironsi and Azikiwe. |
If this is true, we Southerners must unite against this Northern menace. ![]() |

and Yes, Awolowo was the MOST REALISTIC (mere geographical expression), Azikwe had a DREAM (united ONE Nigeria) but Ahmado Bello had the FORESIGHT (the fear of Southerners over ruling his people). This is my opinion . . and by the way, trust me, Igbos are not suffering neither are Yorubas but Northerners are the ones that are suffering because most menial but HONEST jobs are done by Northerners NOT southerners . . .
