jason123:Mehn you are a buffoon. . . And I mean every offense. You know nothing about the about the Niger Delta and its people and that is why people do not even consider you a native son. I am tired of you Yorubas claiming to be something that you are not. |
You Yorubas are funny. Now that you all are in opposition, you all want your own nation now. The same garbage has spread to Nigerian Village Square. ![]() |
jason123:Garbage post! Yorubas are the main reason why their was a Mid-West region. You do not even know you own village to comment on SS affairs. ![]() |
ekt_bear:We are talking about in terms of infrastructure. Northern elite, like to see good roads, but do not really care about industry. As long as there are nice infrastructure and expensive mosque, and they have no complains. |
The North has a well developed infrastructure, thanks to their corrupt leaders. But what did Yoruba leaders who had a chance of taking a piece of the national cake do for their region? Nothing. . . |
jason123:Delta would join the East if the Ijaws of Bayelsa join us, so why get upset? This is the beauty of SE + SS unity. ![]() |
Where is Delta? ![]() Where is Bayelsa? Where is parts of Kogi state? Sorry Becomrich but the Ijaw have joined forces with the Ndigbo. ![]() |
~Bluetooth:King makers in your very own kingdom. ![]() |
~Bluetooth:Enjoy the opposition. ![]() Do not talk to me, tell you SW brother to stop acting like an errand boy for the SS. |
ekt_bear:Well you do have a point. I am just enjoying myself right now. People shouldn't get too upset. Politics changes rapidly. But one thing that I have noticed is that the Igbos and Yorubas view politics through different lens. |
Ngige reminds me of the one black guy who works for an all white company. The company says that they are not an all-white company, because they have that one black man. As Americans say, Ngige is the token non-Yoruba. ![]() |
J12:Now that is a wonderful question. |
Beaf:These tribalist need to be taught a lesson. For far too long, the East, mainly the Ndigbo have been mocked for our support of President Jonathan. It is time for payback. I support punishing the SW POLITICALLY. |
^^^ I wont deny it, I did attack you. ![]() |
6 ACN Members Arrested for Alleged Electoral Fraud in C-River BY JOHNBOSCO AGBAKWURU Six members of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in Cross River State, have been reportedly arrested and detained by the state Police Command for alleged electoral offences during the just-concluded general elections. ACN State Chairman, Mr Cletus Obun, who disclosed this, said the detained party members, were arrested by the police on April 28 and were yet to be arraigned before any court. According to him, “from April 28 till date, six ACN candidates and members have been hunted and arrested by army and detained at different police cells across the state.” Obun also alleged that the party’s deputy governorship candidate in the shifted election in the state, Mr. David Okon and Mr. Ekpo Adah, its House of Assembly candidate for Akamkpa state constituency, who were arrested since April 26, were released on bail on May 3. “The deputy governorship candidate and House of Assembly candidate were released on bail at 8p.m., yesterday,” he said. Apart from the six party members arrested, the ACN state chairman, added that the police were still hunting for some party members over what he called spurious allegations. He called on the police and other security agencies to address the situation to avoid anarchy in the area, adding, “the known hospitality of our people is now wantonly abused.” Obun also called on Governor Liyel Imoke to take full responsibility of the situation as chief security officer of the state to forestall the breakdown of law and order in the area. “Nigerians and the community are celebrating the fall of the father of modern terrorism, yet Cross Riverians are fed a fresh dose of Gestapo regime. We in ACN call for a stop to this cowardly display of desperation,” he said. When contacted on the alleged arrest of the ACN members, state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Etim Dickson, denied any knowledge of the arrest, saying that the command was not aware of the arrests. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/05/6-acn-members-arrested-for-alleged-electoral-fraud-in-c-river/ |
Rhino, you never been to the East so stop lying. It is a sad day when a man has to lie about being with a woman. What is even more sadder, is that he has to pay for se.x. |

Now SW ministers are playing errand boys to the people of the South-South. ![]() Soon they shall be begging politicians from the SE for support. I cannot wait till that happen. |
I wonder who he was playing errand boy to? ![]() https://www.republicreport.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/ek-clark2.jpg |
sulad82i:You can try. . . ![]() |
Chyz*:Many of the Yoruba posters on NL tend to be very insecure. Whenever, someone makes an observation about their region, they seem to get very upset. It is sad. . . |
Rhino.5dm:Most of my disagreements with the Ndi Yoruba is over politics. ![]() I will continue to say that I do not hate you all as a people. Actually, I enjoy being around Yorubas. Especially when there is a party. But when politics is involved, I despise you all and your cowardly ways. |
seanet02:When did Ibibios become Igbo dumb arse? |
sulad82i:We are not talking about groups of people, we are talking about politics. And the biggest losers are the SW. I do not hate people from the SW, I just dislike your tribalistic politics. Learn to separate the facts. |
wired123:The truth hurts doesn't it? |
What can we do to help our South-West brothers and sisters? ![]() They indeed helped our S/west brothers! By giving them a S/east spot! |
~Bluetooth:The SE is more developed than the SW. We Igbos have been to the SW, but the same cannot be said of the Yorubas. It is just more economic opportunities in one particular SW state and that is Lagos. |
Ileke-Idi, what do those articles have to do with this thread? |

If he has to comment like that, that means that the perception of ACN is a Yoruba Party. |
