Retired American boxer and president of The Money Gang (TMT), Floyd Mayweather Jr, has revealed that he will be visiting Nigeria on the 12th of June and will be staying in the country till 14th.

The undisputed champion made the disclosure through a video uploaded on the official Instagram page of 2face Idibia's Club Rumors.

A 14-year-old secondary school pupil, who allegedly defiled his neighbour’s seven-year-old daughter, is facing trial at an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court.

The accused, who resides with his parents on Odo Oba Street, Bariga, Lagos, is being tried for defilement, the News Agency of Nigeria reports.
The accused, according to Police Prosecutor Raphael Donny, broke into the toilet where the underage girl was defecating and defiled her.
He said the accused committed the offence sometime in December 2016 at their tenement building.

“It was the cry of the girl that alerted the mother, who immediately rushed to the scene.
“When the mother saw bloodstains on the child’s clothes, she shouted, but efforts to apprehend the boy were unsuccessful as he ran away from the house.
“The case was reported at the Bariga Police Station, while the boy was later sighted at Agege and arrested…

Arsenal have officially opened negotiations with Belgian club KAS Eupen over signing exciting Nigerian youngster Henry Onyekuru, according to multiple reports.

The 19-year-old has been followed by a host of top European clubs this season just as he scored another two goals on Saturday night against Roselare to further impress watching scouts.
West Ham United have also been linked with the Nigerian, but Onyekuru is thought to be an ardent Arsenal fan and dreams of playing for the North London side.

Onyekuru is the current top scorer in the Belgian top flight with 23 goals, and top tier sides Club Brugge and Anderlecht have reportedly tabled bids, while Liverpool have also had him scouted.

After the interest from the Scottish champions in January, Onyekuru admitted: “I have made my decision to leave. I have already agreed with Eupen that I am joining my new club after this season.”

The striker could be lining up for Arsenal in the Europa League next season, after the Gunners failed to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in 20 years.

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, has been named Premier League Manager of the Year by the League Managers Association (LMA).

Cont clinched the Premier League title in his first year in English football and could make it a classic double, if they beat Arsenal in Saturday’s FA Cup final.

Last year’s winner, Claudio Ranieri, was the first foreign manager to win the prize, since Arsene Wenger in 2003/2004.

“I’m living a lot of incredible emotions in my first season in England,” Conte said at the ceremony.

“I want to thank people for voting for me. I love to accept this.

“It’s fantastic to read all of these names who have won this trophy. It’s a great achievement for me and I hope to continue in the best way and deserve this award.”

A chaotic incident played out recently after the convoy of the Vice President of Ghana was involved in a road accident.

Two dispatch riders of Ghanaian Vice President’s convoy have been involved in an accident.
Reports said the incident occurred at Song, a village in the Mion district when a Nissan Patrol vehicle crossed the dispatch riders as the convoy of the vice president, Mahamudu Bawumia was moving from Yendi to Tamale.

The Northern Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Muhammed Yussif Tanko said riders of motorbikes with registration number GP-4135 and GP-4425 were thrown off the motorbike and crashed on the ground.

One of the riders who was badly injured was rushed to the Tamale Teaching Hospital for treatment.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is on a four-day tour of the Northern region. On day one of his tour, he met with the Regent of Dagbon, Kampakuya Naa Abdulai Yakubu Andani at the Gbewa Palace at Yendi.

A pastor in Ghana is set to hold a Thanksgiving service in order to celebrate Chelsea football club after their premier league title win. This is really serious…
Their fans in England have credited their performance to the tactical brilliance of Italian coach Antonio Conte and the skills of players such as Eden Hazard and N’golo Kante, they have also planned to revel in the success by participating in their title procession through the streets of London.
However, their Ghanaian counterparts have come up with a novel way to celebrate the title triumph by holding a thanksgiving church service on June 4 in Accra.

A flyer for the church service which comes off at the Living Streams International Church behind the La Trade Fair Centre urges all Chelsea fans to come to the venue wearing their jerseys.
It also invites fans of their rivals including Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham to join them at the church service.
The main speaker at the programme will be local preacher Reverend Dr Ebenezer Markwei and former DJ Reverend Azigiza Junior.

The youth wing of Oodu Progressives Youth Movement, OPYM, has alleged that former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode is one of those planning coup against President Muhammadu Buhari.


The body made the claim while reacting to Fani-Kayode’s recent article, THE RINGING OF COUP BELLS AND A CAUSE FOR DEEP CONCERN,” where he noted that ever since 1966, the northern ruling class had always effected a coup d’etat whenever they feel sufficiently threatened with the loss of power.

Accusing Fani-Kayode of being part of those seeking to unseat PMB using force. OPYM handed the former Minister of aviation warning against making mockery of the president’s health.

The Coordinator of the organisation, Kola Salawu, said comments of the former Minister suggest that he is one of those planning to lure the military to usurp power from Buhari.
