O.P do you know that according to Forbes, Otedola isn't a Billionare, let that sink into your poorly informed mind.. Femi Otedola is not a billionaire.. Nigeria has only 3 billionaires and even Otedola isn't one.

If you see a Nigerian worth more than 15million USD, you're already talking a rare member of the 1% of Nigerians. let me spell this clearly for y'all in the back, worth is measured in UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($) no matter the billions of naira a man has, if it does equal a BILLION DOLLAR, bro.. he's not a billionaire, he's a wealthy man, but not a billionaire.
..

Chairman, you deserve a resounding round of applause. I tell a lotta people, most of these people they’re calling billionaires are NAIRA BILLIONAIRES and not DOLLAR BILLIONAIRES.

It seems they are sending this particular mail to those who didn't get the first documentation mail. My guess though. Can those who received this mail confirm this?

I and my friend didn’t get the first documentation mail, but we got this new mail that they sent.

I and my friend just got this mail too. I’m actually happy they even sent a mail to assure us that we’ll be called for documentation. I wish all of us the best of luck.

Car Talk / Is There A Law That Says It’s A Crime To Use Google Maps In Your Car In Nigeria? by ezzylee(m): 9:01am On May 19, 2019
A friend of mine said she was stopped by an FRSC official in Abuja because she was using google maps at a traffic light stop. She wasn’t holding on to the phone, the phone was located in the compartment just below the A/C controls. The man let her go because she mentioned she’s related to a BIG INDIVIDUAL in Abuja.

My question is, is it in the law that using google maps in your car is a crime because there’s no difference between using google maps and using the NAVIGATION SCREEN (if available) of your car.

Thanks.

Hello Mr. KreScendo; Thanks for the warm message of encouragement. I just want to be sure of something. The other processes in this recruitment that has been concluded, were they in line with the timetable for the last recruitment? Anybody with the answer can actually respond. Thank you!

The last recruitment took way longer than this. This recruitment for this our set is way faster than what was done the last time FirstBank recruited.

Hu has an idea hw many of us wer calld for AC nd hw many firstbank wants to recruit

I only have a rough sketch of how many of us were called for AC in Lagos. Spoke to one of the HCP staff at the AC, he said they had about 75 people per batch for each day in Lagos, but I chose to round it up to 80 sha. So Lagos started their AC on Wednesday and ended on Saturday. Each day had two batches.

80 candidates per batch x 2 batches= 160 for one day.

160 candidates per day x 4 days = 640 candidates

So in total, Lagos had a total of approximately 640 candidates called for the Assessment center conducted between Wednesday and Saturday.

I doubt if anyone has an idea of how many candidates FirstBank would want to recruit. All the best guys.

My Assessment Centre was on Saturday for 7.30am.

Group discussion - this was fairly ok. Some people wouldn’t even signify that they wanted to talk and they’ll just jump in even before someone hasn’t finished talking. There was a particular guy who didn’t make any contributions at all. Each time I wanted to make a contribution, I raised my hand up to signify I wanted to say something and they’ll allow me talk.

Power point preparation - this was fairly straightforward but I was a bit pressured coz we were timed and all and you’re looking at your slides whether they’re too simple or you should add more things. I decided to keep mine simple.

Interview - I was the last person for my batch and I noticed the assessor asking me the questions looked tired and all (don’t know if that was favorable or not) and the other person just kept writing, looked at me a few times and asked me like 2 questions to clarify what I was asked. When I was asked what are FirstBanks products, I could only mention two then I blacked out from there. I just told the man that we should move on to the next question. The product question was like the only downside of my interview

Presentation - I was also the last person for this. Assessors just pointed out something in one of the points I raised and we agreed it shouldn’t be there since another point was already going to do the job of the point she raised.

I wish everyone of us success.

Hey guys, i was also sent an email telling me I’ve been shortlisted for the next stage. Got a call from the HCP people later in the day but couldn’t pick the call at first coz I was busy as at that time. I called some minutes after and the call went through and I was told that an email would be sent to me confirming the date, time and venue slot assigned to me.
I wish everyone success in the upcoming assessment center.

ZinoFasisi:

I started at 120 BPM with barry, lyta type of songs.. omo see people coming to meet me lyk alaye afejo se, play Ji masun. I no go lie at that point I way discouraged, it was lyk I was doing nonsense. People just dey gimme songz to play (maybe cos everyone know for street)

I am not really a fan of street music sha, but I had to concur. Meeeen I need to praise myself I TRIED abeg. pple felt me, asin the joy i felt is undescribeable. Asin people were lyk and na phone he dey use oooo.

People even collected my number say them go call me if hin get event (me wey na only phone I get ) grin

For people to have collected your number and all, means you really tried. Big ups.

Based on where you’re gonna play/have a gig, try and know before hand the sorta music the person that employed you likes and also try and know if the sorta people who are gonna be present at the party are all about street songs or other genres of music. This would help you prepare well. Also read your crowd too wink

There was a time a friend asked me to come play at his ogas child birthday party. Speakers, controller, amp and all were provided. I just had to take my laptop. There was another Dj on ground. He had more experience than I did and he was already playing before I got there.

When I was given a chance to play (I’m not a fan of street songs too), I was playing more of the Mr eazi, maleek berry typo songs and people weren’t really gingered and all. I’m a big fan of South African beats (house) and you know a lotta our street songs copied their beats from these South African songs (penalty was copied from Zenze). I switched up to those South African songs and I could see people moving their bodies now and all.

So what I was doing was switching between a South African beat and another Nigerian beat which was similar to the South African beat. For me, I was giving these listeners a taste of different worlds. And I always didn’t play a street song for Long sha but the SA beats always played longer than the street songs. The Dj on ground commended me and even collected my folder for my SA songs.

All in all, always be prepared to switch when the crowd isn’t feeling what you’re playing and at times, you gotta give the crowd what they want. If they want street, give them street (you can now infuse your own blend of other songs which you wanna put in like I did with the SA songs) and don’t take all song requests, you can’t satisfy everyone and you’re the DJ so you should decide if you wanna play or not play a song. No ones to decide for you.
