I would not advise women to leave their man because he cheats. Dont Know the stats, but I will think 95% of nigerian men cheat. If u chose to leave because he cheated on you, the next man would do the same thing too. So if we are not beating u, we are taking care of home, children. And we don't rub our promiscuosity in your face and most important , we practised safe sex. Allow us jo.

But for real though, Women can't be equal to men whether you babes like it or not.
It is this "the world is changing" attitude that is keeping many of you out of marriages.(For those of you that want to marry).
The bible states it: wives, submit to your husbands and husbands love your wifes like the church, something along those lines. Better re-structure your mind-set, our parents weren't stupid.

I don't think they were stupid either. I personally do not think men and women are equal but the upper hand doesn't have to be given to the man. It could swing either way. I think as long as respect is in the equation, equality will be taken with little importance.

Physically, men are more powerful than women but nowadays, Some women are much more intelligent.They take care of the kids and at the same time keep a full time job. They know what they want and go for it. She could make a man her pawn whenever, wherever and however she wants to. Men all you have to do is pray that you are surrounded by nice women.
This "difference" also depends on both sexes background and upbringing. If the woman is brought with a sense of sureness and confidence she could be more challenging than a man and vice versa.
I think in reality the "equal" issue is going to fall short of what society has made it to sound like theoretically. There can never be a balance b/w men and women.
Men and women are not equal.

All these talks about cheating being a normal attitude for guys even though they love their spouses are rubbish. I guess those of you in favour of this are guys and why am I so surprised, jeeeeez!!! There's no longer a sense of decency. If you are so sure it's normal, kindly inform your girlfriend the next time you feel like cheating on her. I'm sure she'll fold her hands and call it a man's nature. PUHLEEZE!!!
