lol. The only thing that will take me back to Naija ROM is if they'll make SD Card main Directory. Two of my friends and my bro are using the Naija own so it will be easy for me to switch back and all this guy's begging for someone to upload a ROM of over 3GB, una think say Naija get 4G LTE and will you pay him for his data huh

Physical Button Music Control works like charm. I can now change songs by holding volume up button or down button.

Welcome to India where they have good network so they don't bother about 2G/3G grin

Your only solution is to use MTK engineering to put it on 3G permanently which is what I did.

Open MTK Engineering mode app then goto Android settings then Phone Information then from select preferred network type, just change it to WCDMA only.

Indian ROM is not a Custom ROM. It's a Stock ROM from Gionee. No custom ROM for Gionee M5 for now

I don't even know what made him to say that. It's Indian ROM cos the first location you'll see there is India capital (New Delhi) just likes ours is showing Abuja.

If only you could switch to Indian ROM. SD Card is the main Directory and your phone will function like your inbuilt Memory is 32GB

Not at all. It's a function from the ROM it self and not from rooting.

Yeah. I've answerd this question before. I just go to System Manager then App Manager then click on that Icon that's like a Bus on the top right corner and Move any of those Apps to SD.

AdBlocker worked for me with Xposed. Most of my Apps have stopped showing those useless adverts grin

i wanted to root my m5, hence i try installing TWRP using SP_FLASH Tools. I discovered it successfully displayed flashed with the Green Ticked.
"TWRP Recovery is now installed on your Gionee Marathon M5, to boot to recovery mode, simply press and hold Volume Down button + press Power button" can't seems to find "Team win".

Refused to install TWRP.....what could be wrong?

Flash it again then use Volume up + power button then select Recovery. Easy as ABC

Nothing like that. It's either you have more apps now than before when you were using the Naija ROM and more apps means your battery gets to drain fast. My battery is perfect. I've been using my phone heavily since morning till now. Watching all today's episodes of the flash, limitless, arrow, agent Carter after downloading and I'm still on 44%

How you take Encrypt without knowing how to Decrypt. grin

I know you'll have to locate the Encrypted folder, then select all the pictures you want to Decrypt and you'll be asked for your phone password.
