Download Hi font from Google Play store then download the fonts you want with it then go to your phone settings then display then font style. Use the scan button to scan and add new fonts then you can change from there.

I Don tire to for Nova launcher. Trying Go Launcher now. Making so much sense.

All the suffer wey I suffer just to change fonts, downloaded Indian ROM of 1.7GB three times and they got it by been patient and just 160MB now I'm jealous. And even a higher version than our India ROM. Will monitor it for now and if its better, I will just unroot my device first, then backup his ROM and install it in my own.

My brother too got the update and he's currently on V5338

Both of dem are perfect when it comes to gaming. Everything na the same for the phone. But me na team M5 cos I be heavy user and if you play games a lot, M5 make sense as the battery is 2 times stronger than SPlus

You dont need to worry about that. Those people coplaining about it are those that flashed their Stock ROM with the latest downloaded STOCK ROM via SP flash tool and the phone activated some kind of security measures on it own sending sales/statistic reports on a daily basis.

Bro, I tried that 360 privacy security app... It detected the 2 bugs responsible for taking my credit and fixed it on the app but my credit is still bin taken, at least N20 per day.

I know how you feel bro. Been there done that. You may need to be rooted but you can try it first if you dont have root access. Download Titanium back up pro then use it to locate the 2 apps and either freeze dem or uninstall dem. As for me, I uninstall the bastards dem permanently. below is a screenshot of both apps. Let me know incase you need anything.


Incase you're using titanium back up, you will need to click on the app you want to remove, then you will see the freeze or uninstall option. Good luck.

Just Google Psiphon MTN. You will see a better explanation there as for the rest, check that post again. I just modified it.

None so far. Only Poweramp needs something special like Lucky Patcher to work perfectly. I just googled the rest.

I've managed to uninstall those useless follow come apps like Google Photos, Google Indic keyboard, Hangout, Google Music, Google Movies, peel smart remote, Game zone and google text to speech engine(this one really worry my life, my keyboard was just making noise anyhow)…… ..this means more free RAM to chop.

You can but I just freeze dem since they're not taking any space. Lol. I know why you want to remove dem, dem don really make you angry. Lmao. I know the feeling bro. Went through it for over 3 weeks. Was calling customer care of mtn and glo every minute thinking that it was a virus not knowing that na sales tracking app.

Use MTK Engineering to make your 3G permanent. First of all put your network in 2G then open MTK Engineering, click on Android settings and then click on Phone information, then scroll down till you see "set preferred network type" (CHECK the first screenshot below) and select 3G only.

As for the SMS charges, i've fixed it thanks to gabylzy. I was able to locate the two apps sending the messages (check the second screenshot) and I used Titanium backup pro to freeze them but you have to be rooted to do that.

I'm also MX for videos, I have Lucky Patcher, Tweakware (in place of Psiphon, although I have it, but the other is more reliable for me).

I use DoubleTwist for music, it's not for everyone though, minimalist interface, with a 5-band equalizer. I tried PowerAmp once, liked it, but settled on this.

SwiftKey keyboard too.

I'm loving how I can change fonts.

About the tweakware, if I should upgrade to premium, do I need to be paying that N500 monthly or the upgrade is just a one time purchase?

My best apps are Psiphon Handler (for surfing the internet privately and downloading) , Poweramp Pro(music player) , ES file Explorer pro, MX player pro for watching videos, Nova Launcher Prime (to customize your phone look) , Titanium backup Pro(for creating app backups, freezing apps, unistalling any apps in your phone and so on), Lucky Patcher (patching android apps and removing ads), Tubemate for downloading crispy HD videos from Youtube, TV Showtime to follow up on my favourite TV shows, Marshmallow wallpapers, Safe In Cloud Pro for storing all my passwords, 360 security, Musixmatch for displaying lyrics and identifying songs and UC browser for downloading large files. You guys can add up yours so I can steal any interesting one. I'm not a game person so no games for me. I prefer PS or Laptop Games with an actual pad.

Finally done with my MTN registration. I left the house around 9 in the morning and left their centre around 4:30 Their fada. And na just 2000 dem wan give me. I've been using my phone since yesterday from 88% and I havent been able to charge since then. Over 1 day and 5 hours now

Upgrade before you root cos the upgrade will remove the root access then you'll have to root again.

Pls anyone who has used both m5 and s plus, can u tell me which one is better? I know both have the same camera but is there any difference in the picture quality? S plus will make a good buy for your Sister cos it's Lighter than M5. Every other thing about both device are the same thing except for the USB type C port that S plus has and the giant battery of M5

M5 and S+ Love dem both. 4 of my friends have started using Gionee since I bought mine last year December. 3 bought M5 and one bought S+. Another one will be buying M5 this month end. Gionee need to give me award shah
