Those comment are generated by the owner of that site. Everything about that site is fake. Don't make that mistake to install anything from them.

Took the liberty of deleting some system apps(Gamezone, Peel Remote, Hangout)..Next, Chrome. They are all constituting nuisance so therefore, good radiance!!

That's the problem. I don't see the sent messages. What I get is just a pop up message that says last SMS cost 10 or 15 naira. But I don't receive it sometimes. It just happened again. The first charges was from my mtn line this morning and this one is from my glo line which is 10. No trace of SMS sent in sent folder. I've installed a new OS then I started installing all my apps one by one to monitor it. At first I wasn't charged throughout last night till this morning until I started using internet and the first app I installed was MTK engineering which I used in tweaking my IMEI number in other to use GLO BIS. After that I installed Nova launcher and the charges started after that. So I don't know which is giving me the problem. If it's between changing of IMEI, installing MTK engineering or the Nova launcher.

I think your phone might be infected. What's the model of the phone? I'm guessing it's running jellybean (android 4.3 or earlier)?

It's Gionee M5 running on Android 5.1
I've done update twice, cleared my phone cache, did factory reset twice and it's still happening.

And what button combination did u used when connecting the phone to PC... An must I connect the phone before clicking on download or After

I'm using the VCOM drivers I got from a tutorial on how to flash Goober M5. And I normally click on download first before connecting the phone. Then I use volume down button for it to be connected to the system. Once it connects, my system will make a sound and that's all. Installation will just start from there.

Which of the drivers did you install? VCOM USB Drivers or the one from the M5 update zip folder?

I don't know what's inside that build prop cos the guy that posted refused to explain anything about it. Mine was rooted when I flashed the last time before this but you'll surely lose the root access. I will advice you to unroot first before flashing. You can download super su from playstore and use it to unroot your device.

I don't think that green battery stuff has anything to do with the fast charge. Mine is still charging fast without that green battery stuff.

It's Original Stock ROM for Gionee. Don't know how the guy got it and ROM and Firmware are still the same thing.

Engineers in the house, please help, ever since I started using my android phone, it has been sending premium text messages without my permission. Both sims are sending the message. MTN charges ₦15 which is sim 1 while GLO charges ₦10 which is sim 2. I've called customer care of both network and they're not helping. Glo said the number is not showing on their side. Just a name which is USA 1. I've lost a lot of cash to this rubbish. My phone is Gionee M5. Please help.

Someone please post a working method for rooting this phone.. I tried the ones online and after showing the green circle which indicates twrp has been successfully flashed, it still gets replaced by the stock recovery .. Someone pls help

Yep. Been through that and I know exactly what you're going through. Just make sure you press the Volume up + power button immediately after flashing it with TWRP and it will take you to a place that has 3 options then select recovery which will take you to TWRP. Note that of you don't use the TWRP recovery to either create a phone backup or root your phone, it will be replaced again so just back up your ROM with it to make the installation permanent and you might need about 5.5GB free space for the backup. Goodluck and Happy New Year in advance.

I started downloading the latest firmware for this device when my battery was at a strong 67%. Now, it's at 60% and the download is at 745mb+. And at the same time, I'm watching a movie and 5 other downloads(Scorpion TV series) just completed.

My former phone can't handle a situation like dis.

Yeah. Even without Root, I can move Some apps to Memory Card. I can move all this apps to SD if I want to but I want to buy 64GB SD card first. I just moved some of them cos my Mcard is not that large.
