POLITICS!!! A little boy goes to his father and asked, ''what is politics?'' Dad said, '' well son let me explain it this way; I'm the breadwinner of the family, so let's call me capitalism. Your mother, she's the administrator of the money, so we call her the government. We are to take care of you, so we call you the people. The nanny, we 'll consider her the working class. And your baby brother, we call him the future. Now, think about that and see it makes sense. The little boy went off to bed thinking about what dad had said. Later that night, he heard the cry of his baby brother, he got up to check on him. He discovered that the baby had severely soiled his diaper. So, he went to his parents room and found his mum sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he went to nanny's room. Finding the door locked, he peeped through the keyhole and saw his dad in bed with the nanny. He gave up and went to bed. The next morning, he said to his father, ''Dad, I think I now understand the concept of politics. The father gladly said, 'son, tell in your own words what you think politics is all about. The little boy replied; "well, while capitalism is screwing the working class, the government was sound asleep. The people are being ignored and the future is indeep shiit!!! Speaks alot about African(Nigeria) politics |

Nawa o. Una just dey view dey go! No contribution? There's God o Doctors in the house, help a brother o. |
For a while now, I 've been battling tooth pain. At first, it was my gum getting swollen. I did go to hospital where the doctor prescribed some drug that indeed subdued the pain and eventully, my gum was normal. After two months, it re-surfaced, now with greater pain and to worsen the case, it's now in two sides(both premolar). I went back to the doctor, he adviced that i do away with both teeth. This is one thing i never wanted to hear, because my two siblings have removed their teeth in the last 10 months for same reason. Base on advice from people, i 've even used hot dry gin on it but to no avail, instead the hotness w'ld peel my gum. People nairalanders, help your brother, am in so much pain. Must i remove my teeth? What if after removing them, others develop same issue? Is that how am to loose all my teeth. I no someone out there has suffered same issue and didn't go about removing the tooth. Pleas share your experience.. Thanks in advance! |

Will this day ever come? [quote author= post=45424501]IN MY DREAM I SEE HOPE I have never despaired, I never give up and with my belief my heart is burdened, whenever I close my eyes I see a lot is being done yet a lot needs to be done, I sleep with the vision in my heart and they transit into dreams, I see a people longing for good and in that dream I see hope, I see a Nation built so strong, that everyone wishes they were here, I feel the flourishing flora and fauna, I see the land so green and the people so happy, I see cohesion, I see collaboration, I see the Hausa man shaking and smiling with the Igbo man, I see the Yoruba man's talking drum sounding very loud at the wedding ceremony of Mallam Audu in sokoto. I see and hear the Ngalogu dancers stepping out to the stage in Ibadan, I hear the Kalangu beats deep in the interior of Mbaise, Mbano, Isikwato and the historic town of Awka. I see hope in my dream, that the man who aimed his guns at the other man for no reason except difference in tongue saying SORRY! I see in my dream that man, who raised his machete on the other fellow REGRETTING! I see the man who once said Nigeria will break planting the green white green flag at his door step. I see the Nigerian dream coming into fruition, I see Innoson motors making airplanes, I see sharada industrial layout firing from all arsenal, I see Agbara layout producing everything, I see Ebe-ano brand selling on the streets of Paris, London and New York. These are what I see every time in close my eyes for a Nap, from arable lands of my darling Niger, I see hydro power dams, I see hope that we will be great again, in unity and faith. I see all of us Nigerians living happily. All these I pray for . fiizznation:guy/gul, don't just jump into conclusion without taking a thorough løok into the matter. I grew up in enugu, and fulani men till today are scattered in every of the bush down there. Even while entering the city, you see then along the road, starting from 9th mile-enugu ngwo. Go to nike side, same thing. Also, from nsukka down to enugu-ezike, from there to igala. These herdsmen are all over there. They move in the middle of the night, and occassionally during the day. Any time they passed, was a very sad story for the communities, as the cattle w'ld eat anything eatable in your farm. |
