Good movement and very nice combinations and pressing!

Nwora had 21 Pts 10 Reb 2 Ast 1 Steal yesterday in his first NBA start. Happy days ahead!
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom:
Why na, Benin did not pose any threat whatsoever.
Just one header at goal, no single shot at goal.
Boys were in control throughout!
Mind you we struck the post and their keeper made some spectacular saves.
They could have played for a draw but they kept pushing for the winning goal.
The SE should be commended.
I don't remember Benin creating any meaningful chance in our box. None!
smartsmith0907:
Nah boss
But for where I siddon fear dey catch me no be small y'all need to see the way I flew up when Paul scored the goal.

You forgot his positioning! Abeg give him the deserve respect!
humility33:
That's why I am surprised

Because the dude is one of the most lazy tall players I know

But anyway any tall player can score that goal except he is cursed.... credit should goes to oshimen

We top! A professional performance from the Boyz! We move! Weldone Onachu!
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 5:59pm On Mar 27, 2021
We are building a very formidable team!
I watched all the qualifiers this weekend and I can say the SE will give any team in Africa and even the world a run!
Okoye is just having a holiday!
Aribo should be more precise in his passing.
Chuks is man-marked!
Henry and Sanusi world-class!
Victor should watch the line before running into space.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 4:27pm On Mar 27, 2021

Is iwobi our most important player?
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 4:15pm On Mar 27, 2021
How are we sure this Iwobi Covid thing is not a set-up by the Benin republic officials?
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 4:06pm On Mar 27, 2021
Congrats Naija! Now let us qualify in style!

Is Nigeria a human! A Nigerian is you and I. Yours and my family, friends, relatives, workers, co-workers, neighbours etc. We always complain yet we are part of the problem! Play your part in making the country great. Abeg, enough of all these complaints without providingadequate solutions.
IDENNAA:
I don't care if you work for Jesus Christ or have a billion degrees because this is NOT about you ! There is nothing about Nigeria to be proud. You are just here to celebrate your little comfortable life , which doesn't affect the deplorable and pathetic condition of the country.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 3:50pm On Mar 27, 2021
Ultra defensive at their home. I don't think so! Benin is a very good team and 3-5-2 is not a conservative formation rather it will give the team stability and width. Ole and Pep use it sometimes. Chuks and Henry can come in the 2nd half to run them down.
smartsmith0907:
Nah 3-5-2 is very conservative and dangerous for a team like Benin that will be on ultra defense so 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 will be the best bet.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 3:55am On Mar 27, 2021
I prefer we play 3-5-2 away from home. We played so well the last time we played that formation. We have the players to play the formation effectively.
Uzoho(cos of the pitch)

Ekong Ajayi Balogun

Aina Ndidi Aribo Sanusi

Iwobi

Iheanacho Osihmen

Ikoyi to Ilashe to Badagry to Porto-Novo to Cotonou back to Porto-Novo & back to Cotonou after today’s training.

And the @NGSuperEagles
will face @benin_football
tomorrow.

Should we still expect a win against Benin Republic?

Wow! Got beaten? Wow!
BascoVanVeli:
That is a factor added to others such as poor officiating, hostile fans and even poor tactics. I remember both times Akwa United beat Kano Pillars lately, our players and officials got beat up. The next time we lost honorably.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 10:31pm On Mar 26, 2021
He is in the NBA G league now, playing regularly!
BascoVanVeli:
I dey vex for that Bucks coach and the small playing time he is giving Jordan Nwora. I was even hoping that he got traded
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 10:29pm On Mar 26, 2021
That's why only a few of them win or draw games away from home. You hardly see away win! No, be so Basco!!
BascoVanVeli:
Then I should never hear a bad word about the NPFL because those guys travel way more hours by road and nobody cares when they analyse results.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 9:16pm On Mar 26, 2021
Bro, my point is if we don't have a problem with their traveling schedule then we should not complain about their performance tommorow
andrewbaba44:
Bros cool down ok

You want me to give you example of this situation that has happened to others team ?
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 9:06pm On Mar 26, 2021
It is not fake news! There is nothing on that IG page suggesting otherwise! Did you know how much time it took them traveling on road after arriving on boat?
JohnBullMySon:
I'm surprised that even Brila is falling victim to fake news.

Go to @teamnigeriauk3 on IG and check the video times. they did not spend up to 3 hours on the boat.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 8:18pm On Mar 26, 2021
I am more concerned about our expectations from them! When we played at home with less stress, it took a fluke penalty and Kalu's ingenuity to beat Benin. Remember, they scored first and also struck the goal post. I don't think we should expect SE to win!
chrisooblog:
guy calm down. there have been times national teams arrived on the day of the match and still played. I also felt that going by water would be a bad idea but I learnt going by road would even be worse due to the bad state of the badagry Express which is not the NFF's fault. Plus there is no airport in the town where they going to play the match so going by water unconventional was The Logical choice

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 7:18pm On Mar 26, 2021
It will be a miracle if we get a draw tomorrow!
We are playing in Benin yet we make it seems like we are playing in a distant place like China.
Ridiculous and absolutely disgusting!
How can you take players on a 6 hours Boat and Land trip to Benin republic a day before an important game and still ask them to train the same day?
Are you out of your f.. mind?

Understood, Bro! I just want the best for him.
I don't want all that beef kinds of stuff at Mancity to happen to him again.
He is a generational talent as @supernerd @chriskels @kellycute @thegoodjoe and others have always emphasized!
AN Eight, Ten, and Nine built-in one!
Upwards ever!

How many times has Vardy ran to anyone after an assisthuh U are making rules solely for Iheanacho. Vardy always has a celebration to do.

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 10:03pm On Mar 14, 2021
It depends on the type of assist. For Ndidi assist, I understand but Vardy's 2 assists it's a no for me. He should have run to Vardy for those 2 good assists. My opinion though.
BascoVanVeli:
Oga lock up. Every single player does some kind of celebration before being joined by their teammates for hugs. In the past players ran away from their teammates while they chased them. U can't make a rule that applies to only one individual.

Someone recently called Iheanacho a 30goal striker and said Rodgers wasn't giving him space. Now Fulham is one of best teams too. I discovered that people that talk like that are the ones who watch matches only when a Nigerian is involved.
3 goals in 3 games. Nacho just shut you up!
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 6:57pm On Mar 08, 2021
I do think Musa deserves to be invited, however not as part of the main team list.
We have so many star players there should be no room for redundancy!
Inviting him is a way of stating that we as people will be there for our star players in troubled times.
Ppogbae:
How on Earth can someone who hasn't played football in ages be invited? What is wrong with this Oyinbo bastard!

It is so obvious that they want him to break Yobo's record!

How many were quality goals? Most were penalties and tap-ins. Osi will definitely come good. Injuries and Covid affected his progress. He just needs a good run of games.
12large1:
If simy can score 10 league goals in seria A, then I think osimehn issue might be psychological and he might come good since he is a better player than simy. (Just my opinion)

Don't mind him.
Mancity played defensive against Brighton after going 1 nill up! Nobody talk!
Football is about balance, Dele and Tanguy are not so strong on the ball either one should have been removed for Lamela or Lucas earlier.
Playing both (Lucas and Lamela) or (Dele and Tugay) without Serge and Reg as wingbacks makes the Spurs team unbalance!
Ihenzy:
Fulham were playing to avoid relegation
Besides i think i will gladly take 3 pts than play attractive football and lose.

Aina was something else today! What an amazing player!
Not only did he put Son in his pocket, but he was also dribbling him anyhow! LOl!
How did both Doherty and Davies get signed by Spurs!
Those two were an eyesore today!
