Can anyone explain why they didn't play 30mins extra time before penalty shootout? |
Nigeria's most likely opponent in the round of 16 of AFCON 2023 is Guinea. However, there are still some scenarios that could change the picture: Current situation: Nigeria finished second in Group A. Group C, which determines Nigeria's opponent, has two matches remaining: Senegal (6 points) vs. Guinea (4 points) Cameroon (1 point) vs. Gambia (0 points) Most likely scenario: Guinea needs a win against Senegal to clinch second place and face Nigeria. A draw or Senegal win would keep Senegal in second and set up a match with Guinea against Mali. Less likely scenarios: Cameroon could leapfrog Guinea into second place with a massive win against Gambia and a Senegal win by a very large margin against Guinea. This is highly unlikely though. Gambia could upset Cameroon and potentially qualify as one of the best third-placed teams, but again, this is improbable. Therefore, with the information available as of today, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 4:00 PM WAT, Guinea is the most likely opponent for Nigeria in the round of 16. However, stay tuned for the matches in Group C on Tuesday to see if the picture changes. I hope this clarifies the situation! |
How do u approach your earthly father when you need something from him - aggressive, violent, cool or calm? Na you sabi! Now let me burst your mind. No matter your approach, God may still not answer your prayers - long life, prosperity, promotion, etc. Need your prayers answered? Just seek for His kingdom and righteousness first, then all those things will be added unto you. God knows all your problems even before you ask in prayer. But He wants you to do the right thing first. |
Run "for" or "from" presidency? |
Inec did not even apologize in her statement of postponement. What arrogance!!! |
U will be surprised to know that most of them don't even know what's written on their placards |
Congrats to them |
Congrats to our man AJ. He won the fight early in the 10th round on Technical Knock Out. |
I really don't mind FFK. But I think Shehu goofed big time. Should we the civil servants start working from home because of rodents (or even snakes)? Alhaji!!! I love PMB, but I don't love him with my brain inclusive. Checkout how BBC titled the story: RODENTS CHASED NIGERIA LEADER OUT OF OFFICE. We have become a laughing stock in comity of nations. I love my country but ashamed of its government. |

It depends on the product you wish to trademark. The last time I trademark my branded car battery, I paid N5000 for search, N17,500 for filings. I then tip a staff N5000 for speeding up the process. This happened in June 2016. You may need to pay more if the three names you initially submitted is taken or unavailable. edoman2016: |
We can't move forward in this country until the "power of love" conquers the "love of power". |
There was a mild drama in Asaba, yesterday, when the Minister of State for Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, frowned and bluntly refused to answer a question posed by a reporter as regards whether President Muhammadu Buhari’s sojourn in the United Kingdom was not a form of medical tourism. Ehanire, who had just finished inspecting the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, urged Nigerians to shun travelling abroad for medical tourism, and should rather stay in the country and take advantage of the improved health services at the nation’s medical centres. Ehanire lamented that it is not right, as unpatriotic Nigerians, who travel abroad in droves to seek medical attention for their ailments, spend so much money in hard currency. He said: “We need to provide money for our hospitals to upgrade their facilities to discourage people from travelling abroad for medical tourism. We believe if we can offer more services, people will be less inclined to travel abroad for medical treatment.” Then the bombshell, as a journalist said: “But sir, talking about medical tourism, the President has been away in the United Kingdom for medical treatment for over a month. That is medical tourism. Don’t you think this is hypocrisy? People should practise what they preach. Charity, they say, begins at home.”Caught off-guard by the question, Ehanire frowned and turned to the next journalist, who was eager to ask another question, in a move, which echoes United States’ President Donald Trump war with the press. Minister: “Next! Your question please!” he said, pointing to another reporter on the sidelines. Cullied from The Guardian

At. President Osibanjo is testing his presidential powers by sacking directors and reinstalling others that he thought were wrongly sacked. And heaven did not fall. Next will be cabinet reshuffle. And if nothing happens, he will step into the military. |

My amiable President! Could you, for the sake of some us who are genuinely concern about your good health, speak and douse the tension and apprehension in the land and shame the mischief and disgruntled elements. |
Its encouraging but it has its downturn! Have you wondered why palm oil is too costly in your local market? Middlemen prefer exporting than selling at the local market. They fix the price according to the prevailing black market exchange rate |
Well, I really want to know if the water coming out of my air conditioner is safe for cooking, if not drinking. The AC makes gallons of water (clean water in appearance) per day - depending on the humidity of the day. I usually use the water for toilet and laundry. Now, I am tempted to use the water for kitchen and the "other room" (sorry, for drinking), especially now that our public water supply is not working. I have actually made a web search on that, but, I didn't get something concrete, hence I want to find out from this ever reliable forum.

Alas! I heard that Buhari's landlord is pursuing him from Asorock because of house rent since National Assembly has failed to pass 2016 budget. |
