Education / Re: Which City Has The Highest Number Of Universities In Nigeria? by Facosco(m): 6:33am On Nov 21, 2023
IVORY2009:

Did you read and understand question? You fail to understand the question of the poster.

Abeokuta is a city inside Ogun state.....
I think it is you that fail to understand the question of the poster, the poster was asking which city has the highest number of universities, but you said Abeokuta and you were listing the universities that are not in Abeokuta to justify your point, which shows that you don't understand the question

IVORY2009:
The city with the highest number of universities in Nigeria is **Abeokuta** in Ogun State. Abeokuta has 8 universities, accounting for almost half (47%) of the total number of universities in the state. Here's a list of the universities in Abeokuta:

1. Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB)
2. Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU)
3. Moshood Abiola University of Science and Technology (MAUSTECH)
4. Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED)
5. Crescent University (CU)
6. Babcock University (BU)
7. Mountain Top University (MTU)
8. McPherson University (MU)

Abeokuta's concentration of universities can be attributed to several factors, including its strategic location, historical significance, and conducive environment for academic pursuits. The city is well-connected to major transportation hubs, making it accessible to students from across the country. Additionally, Abeokuta's rich cultural heritage and relatively peaceful atmosphere contribute to its appeal as a university town.

The presence of numerous universities has had a significant impact on Abeokuta's economy and social fabric. The influx of students and faculty has boosted local businesses and fostered a vibrant intellectual community. The city has also benefited from the contributions of these institutions in terms of research, innovation, and community engagement.

Overall, Abeokuta's position as the city with the highest number of universities in Nigeria reflects its commitment to education and its role as a hub for academic excellence in the country.
There is difference between ogun state and Abeokuta, most of the universities you mentioned are in ogun state but not in abeokuta, universities like
1. Tai solarin university of education Ijebu ode
2. Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago iwoye
3. Mountain top University ibafo
4. Babcock University ilisan Remo
are all not in Abeokuta

Politics / Re: Petrol Prices Highest In South-east, Lowest In North-east In October: NBS by Facosco(m): 9:20pm On Nov 22, 2021
shortgun:

Don't mind them they don't know that NNPC controlled by the federal government allocates fuel to different states however they want.
They will send less fuel to southeast states that needs it and send more to the north that doesn't need it thereby creating scarcity in the southeast hence the price increase and surplus In the North.

You can't take petrol meant for a particular state to another one it's a crime. If anybody is a daft it should be you, have you ever been to South East at all? If yes show me any major marketer that sell petrol above 162.5 while independent marketers sell as much as 180 and you talk of scarcity, where do you see scarcity in the south east? Unless scarcity has another meaning to you
The comments on this forum most times just shows how daft Nigerians are.

Bros if you don't know anything don't talk. Even Total, Mobil and other multi nationals actually sell at high prices in the south East. Is it an igbo thing now?
Always learn to speak the truth, no major marketer sell more than 162.5 in the east, all the independent marketers in the east are greedy

Education / Re: What Is The Hardest Language To Learn In Nigeria? by Facosco(m): 4:34pm On Nov 17, 2021
To me Igbo language is the hardest Language to learn while yoruba and Hausa are more easier, you can stay in Igbo land for one year without hearing their language, but if an Igbo person go to Lagos, within three months, he will be speaking yoruba Language
