flokii:"Pathetic" in this case is not enough word to qualify the situation. Their political leaders are saint, while leaders of other zones in the country are corrupt. The earlier they understand that charity begins at home ,the better it will be for them. |
Abia and the Igbo people on Nairaland will never talk about this, they are vehemently focused on Lagos affairs as if they don't have their own place. If they can channel the energy they use in criticizing Tinubu and other Yoruba leaders to criticize their political leaders, I'm dead sure something would have been done to address this mess, but No! they won't. |
Happy birthday Lala's baby. Long may you live. |
Share your experience, have you been warned sternly either by spiritual leaders or seers to stay clear of women so as not to lose what has been destined to be yours, or to achieve some personal goals? |

Sammy07:I love this, this is wisdom. but how can we put the north of power forever? |

bodybuilder:Spilling the mindset we have about others, either tribes, countries or people that was instilled in us by our parents or anyone is not tribal prejudice nor tribalism. Many will learn from this, and this will also create chance for people of a tribe to refute any false claim about them. Let's not deviate from the point. It's a simple question. |
I think I'm addicted bcus after a little while of not visiting nairaland, I do sense there's somewhere I should visit but wouldn't be so sure where, until I open my browser and see the logo. It's an interesting site to spend time as it's encompasses every sphere of life, particularly African affairs and specifically Nigeria. Some even found love, job, and other things good here. It's better being addicted to something productive and advantageous than something that is not. I don't want to talk about the mods. Time to bow out. |
Maybe you've had sex in excess and consequently, the urge for it has totally depleted from you. |
benuejosh:So there's something good about Buhari...wow Unless you delight in evil, enjoy nepotism and excessive tribalism, I don't think anything substantially good has been produced by Buhari's government. You must agree with me that he's a manufactured failure. |
when are they likely to resume? |
benuejosh:They must be paying you well enough to kill your conscience for supporting this evil administration. |
Nwchkwgz:Same here. Besides, more doors started to open for me. The association I belong respects me more cus I can now stand up to air my opinion and I also learn to say No..no matter the situation, not minding if I'm the only one with the position. I talk slower and deeper. |

Snitch24:When I finally realised, I wished I could turn back the hand of time so I would make right some things I did. In everything we do in life, confidence comes after God. |
pansophist:You're a psychology lecturer? |
Snitch24:It took you so long? |

While growing up, my attitude was solely based on what people think about me or my actions. When I was in my teen, it got worse bcus it was already affecting me psychologically, and my views about life were products of others' thought, opinion or imagination. I'm from a polygamous family, as a young man, I must stand firm to maintain my position in the family. But this I could not do because I was becoming timid already. I was the type that over-think. So after sometime, I gained admission to the university, I thought it would get better but it was the opposite. My second year was almost as the first. The thing has bereft me of any iota of confidence, I walked facing down and all. If I greeted someone and the person didn't answer well, I might think about this for two days and sometimes would always want impress others so they can think good about me. The turnaround: When I moved to the next level in the university (part 3), the situation was changing gradually, I was becoming gradually confident... I sat down one day, I called my self by my name and asked my self; have you stolen before, I answered "No". Have you done something ignominious before; I answered No. Then why are you scared of everyone?, why do you give a Bleep about what people think about you? . That moment, I became confident, I started to talk boldly and also started to stand firmly on my opinion, I increased the level of conversation with people, I looked lecturers in the face and tell them whatever the case may be. The result: I started observing that people began to respect me more, my friends on campus and even...just everyone, both old and young. When I went back home for holiday, let me quickly add this, I had also always believed witches and evil people can kill me and it was one of the reasons for my timidity. I stopped the belief and began to have faith in whatever I think and the God I serve. I give no f*vk about them. Then later, I also observed they began to respect me, even my dad. I talking intellectually and express my opinions buoyantly and brilliantly. Everything about my life just changed and I began to have rest of mind. I perform better in everything I do and started to trust in myself. I now walk confidently and also do little workout. I now look fit and more hands.. Share yours. |
Asianjollof007:Forget about Aketi first, the fact that Buhari's administration will end in less than the next two years gives me joy. About Aketi...he's been vital to the plight of southern Nigeria but he has his own weaknesses too. But the fact that he is fighting our course at the national level has overshadowed the punctures on his reputation. |
bobowaja:Oh..that's nice. Be good brother. |
bobowaja:Yep brother, you? |
bobowaja:I know few of them. |
Tissaia:I don't really want to talk about the number of fulanis we had in power and how they've been destroying the country before the advent of democracy. I like to make reference to the present and I'm starting with Buhari. He and his administration have been pain in the butt of all Nigerians, the fact that we have this present administration excessively occupied by Fulanis and which is the worst administration we've ever had indicates that you people lack the intellectual capacity to rule and nepotism, bigotry and religious fanaticism dwell in your blood. This is not a case of how many fulani president Nigeria has had, it's a case of what happens to Nigeria whenever they climb the seat of power. |
bobowaja:From Ondo state? |
