After yesterday night encounter with my neighbours, I begin to think if am getting too addicted to reading NAIRALAND news, now look how it all started,
After watching Man-U and Chelsea match, I decided to charge my phone at nearby bet9ja shop. As usual many guys begin there argument on both match's, I was just busy reading all the comments about the both match's here in NAIRALAND, I never contributed in there argument until my 2 neighbours came in and see me reading quietly, one was annoyed and couldn't hold His jealousy anymore because of the way I dedicate most of my free time reading on this platform, So He came in and took my phone from my hand and begin to tell those guys aguing,

Everytime him de NAIRALAND I no no wetin Him de gain for Dix faceless forum, I was jox smiling shaa He told Dem dat una no go blv say Him watch all dix match's una de Tok about here, but him no go tok anything bcox him de read NAIRALAND, de tin kon de vex me self at times d guy go spend d whole evening indoors and if I check am na NAIRALAND him read. So one of d guys there told Him maybe am an ADMIN in the platform or they do pay there active members, omo I couldn't hold my smile again I laugh out loud
So they simultaneously asked me why do I love the forum, I told them that am not surprised about them being surprised of my love to NAIRALAND because other social media example Facebook is very popular and pple do post there pictures and other things, but NAIRALAND is d forum that fits my lifestyle, I don show off, I like being on low key, I told them that this forum is more educative, more fun, more interesting, more fast in bringing trending news than Facebook, but am not here to convince any of you to join, is your choice.
I told them that as I am now, there is nothing they can beat me in argument if I want to argue with them, is it football, politics, relationship etc and I know most of you haven't heard about feminism, Redpill,ETC , is it celebrity life, international news,? who is aware about what is happening in Afghanistan here? Of course no one just that is not part of me to argue, even here I don't argue much even when some people quote me, I will just overlook it, let alone shout in public.?
So in summary I want to know if am the only one who is addicted to NAIRALAND? You can share your experience!

My own is that Seun could endeavour to add new features. The forum has metamorphosed to more than a mere employment branch, it is now a national identity.

As long as I'm on my PC, Nairaland is the last place to see me.

Though we are all making seun smile to the bank with millions of naira as young as he is with the content we create but still need to do more, in appreciation of the users of this forum generously...the richest young african techpreneur.
The innovation of this forum is a brilliant one and started quite early.

1. Its native, proudly Nigerian.

2. Faceless: topics introverts are shy to discuss are brought her, especially romance, advices comes and they are quietly contended with the reply. Some stories here are genuine while some are fictional.

3. Attention to good topics improve the wellbeing of the OP.

4. For those who love the culture of text reading to pictures(fb, YouTube, IG) here becomes favorite as images are gradually taking over text in learning. Images speak a million text. That's why narrating a movie correctly can make you more intelligent than a prof who has shelved a thousand books into his brain.

5. It is cheaper and saves data.

6. Finally promotes blogs and affordable cheap adverts here.

I think I'm addicted bcus after a little while of not visiting nairaland, I do sense there's somewhere I should visit but wouldn't be so sure where, until I open my browser and see the logo. It's an interesting site to spend time as it's encompasses every sphere of life, particularly African affairs and specifically Nigeria. Some even found love, job, and other things good here. It's better being addicted to something productive and advantageous than something that is not. I don't want to talk about the mods.
