ProWalker: Oct 1, lol..the day Igbos dread most in 2017. They should make it a national holiday in independent Biafra But you know nothing will happen on that day don't you. They have succeeded in giving you something to keep yourself busy and stop asking questions on the whereabouts of the Head of State. Purely distractions to cover up for their kinsman! |

REDDEVILS1: Threads like this make me wish there was a dislike button here. Believe me am a pure Igbo man frm Enugu State to be precise. I don't believe in the Biafra cause but Seun shud nt gag pple frm expressing their beliefs. This is totally uncalled for and sometimes the hatred for igbos justify the call for Biafra. I believe if it was the Yourbas were the ones hoping to be on their own, Seun wudnt do this You are spot on! I had never bothered about the Biafra struggle all along. But what Seun did now has made the Biafra agitation even more popular on nairaland. Methinks I will start talking about Biafra now! Seun just reminded me. |
Politics › Re: Nairaland Says No To Secessionists by fairprince(m): 3:17pm On Dec 10, 2015 |
Seun some of us have been wt u since 2006 (with different handles though) and have made little contributions to assist fellow Nigerians via your site. We the people attract the traffic and nay your popularity to this site. Pls don't alienate us. Your stand on this is just not okay. It is ur site sha. But then we contributed to it and can still contribute more when treated well. Just wondering whether you can stiffle the Biafran struggle this way. Or did anyone warn you and you are not telling us everything? |

Adesiji77: Loan recovery gone bad!
Save for the phone number that the Education Secretary was asked to call, one would have assumed that the Access Bank staff was trying to threaten the former into settling outstanding indebtedness.
Even if he had "good intentions" Access Bank will deny him now. He can as well kiss his banking career goodbye. True. Occupational hazard in the industry. It is labeled 'donation'. The system will deny u first, donate u and finally prosecute u. Divine wisdom is required daily at duty post. |

excellentmomma: He may not have stolen a kobo, most likely he was trying to threaten the bank's customer to pay up monies owed the bank. He works in loan recovery remember? And most likely the customer caught his tricks and maybe even knows someone in Efcc, these Efcc officials can be corrupt too and protect their own. You got it 100%. He pushed it too far. Bankers usually threaten chronic debtors with law enforcement agents to get them to comply. He did not steal anyone's money but overzealously crossed the rubicon. Forgery should not have come in here at all. He really went too far with an unethical practice. |

U know the people in the Northern part of the country are a bit more flexible and sympathetic to people when it comes to certain considerations. Besides, most of the CVS were submitted by someone in that axis. Pele for the extra stress. Best of lucks! |
Career › Re: The Hard Truth About Your Salary by fairprince(m): 5:45am On Dec 04, 2015 |
400billionman: A businessman making N200,000 a month is 4 times better than a banker making same amount.
Why ? Time management. The businessman spends his time thinking of areas to invest his N200,000 to make more money in a continuous cycle while the banker spends his time thinking of how to retain his job by making more money for his employer (the bank )..
Over 10 years the businessman will definitely have a house and even tenants while the banker is still a tenant. @Nihilist. Methinks we should also consider this assertion and the Op's points. All of ur contributions are ok. Just that the higher u go up on the corporate ladder it appears u earn higher. But then those entrepreneurs have a lot of time in their hands that often tranlates to better deals and new shops within a few years. Generally, emplyed people seem to be ahead initially, but over the years the entrepreneur overtakes them queitly. And u know one things, nobody ever bothers or looks up to dt shop owner that wears slippers or sandals around. They always look up to the ones in the corporate world to share their money. The other guy answers to himself and lives a very simple life that does not seek to impress anyone. The corporate world guy needs to live a kind of life that at least matches his status. So let's consider all ur points and x-ray them carefully looking and the pros and cons of each. |
